I mixed four diamonds as well as four blue dreams about a year ago and they bred like crazy to the point I had to sell them to my local pet shop, the curly haired fellow who works in the aquarium section couldn't believe how beautiful the shrimp I sold them were, ended up leaving with over three hundred and fifty dollars, crazy how much these little guys can go for when they have very deep colours
Glad to know you bred them & they didn’t come out brown like most mixed species. Cuz I’m gonna have both as well.

I did get the odd yellow or brown one occasionally but most of them were beautiful dark blues
Could you actually bred them together? What do you classify them as, blue dreams or blue diamonds? Do you get the velvets in the offspring other weird combinations?

actually really like the light blue. some look turquoise almost, with the extra bit of greenish on the back. lol i want to just straight up buy some of those, though i know they aren't what breeders are trying to get and are considered culls.....
I like the blue velvets also it's just a shame there isn't many true lines out there anymore

I've copied your racking system only got painted fire reds in a 10 gallon at min then a 2ft cull tank with my lower grades but taking it slowly going to add a tank a month

Great video. I have Blue Dream shrimp (I think), I wanted to add more Blue Dream, but if the new ones end up Blue Diamond, do you know the two breed and colour of babies? Thanks.
So far I've kept the two lines together and just got a mix of the two and no wilds yet
I just got some Blue Neo recently and just had babies but too small to tell yet (other than some are blue). So I guess I wont know till I see the babies better which I have.

Lure them out with food and some nice skills with the net
So, will blue dream and blue diamond lead to all wilds? I wasn't happy with the quality of the dreams i bought (sky blue color with dark patches). I ended up buying some from a local seller and that seller's dreams colors were so much darker. The seller told me that she crossed the diamonds and dreams together to get a certain color.
I've had blue dreams and diamonds in the same tank now for almost a year and no wilds so far
I have had great success so far crossing dreams and diamonds. I know my clients appreciate a certain color payoff and so far so good, without any wild colors!
I have blue velvet having the light browns. I have some velvets that are so so dark you can only tell they are blue by the blue legs. Very confused about blue velvet line and why I'm getting browns.
If you have dark blue shrimp you don't have blue velvets. Velvets should all be sky blue not dark at all
What would you get if you put booths lines together into a new line?
The black rose genes are dominant and they would just make blue diamonds

Not yet hopefully here in the next month or so but it's basically the same cherry would be like blue dreams and bloody marry come from chocolates like blue diamonds
I remember when I was younger and bought some cherry shrimp and manged to get a few blue, black and yellow ones from the red cherry shrimp after about a year. It was amazing. Yeah the majority of the baby shrimps were red.
It's hard to try to breed so the recessive colours shows up, but the more the one is trying the higher the success will be.
How about mixing blue dreams & blue diamonds?
You won't get wilds buy you'll get more culls

Possibly red rillis but most likely selective bred from wilds

Blue neo shrimp can be several types of blue neos. Blue dream, diamonds, jelly, and velvets are all considered blue neos
Which one tastes better?
Dreams for sure the diamonds are a little hard

Então a diferença do blue dream para o blue diamond é a cor preta pontos pretos no corpo, enquanto o blue diamond tem menchas pontos pretos no corpo, eu ja vi um rapaz vendendo assim, e os blue dreams sao claros no meio e azuis por completo, e com no maximo uma linha no topo da cabeça na cor marrom, brown line, que indica que vem do chocolate, então é isso, eu tenho um black rosa tambem, era azul mas foi mudando de cor ficando meio avermelhado até tomei um suto nisso dai kkkkkkk

What happens when you breed blue shrimp and green shrimp?
99% chance you will get wilds
If someone said blue crystals and didn't mean a caridina I'd be mad. I've never seen blue crystals but crystals are not neos.
