I agree, an alien companion would be nice. Like a sassy alien girl, who doesn't take any of his nonsense, wants to see the universe, and is as curious about Earth as she is about distant planets.
Al Calone Yeah someon who would need a disgues on Earth because all his alien companions don't really stand out walking down the street (well one but she was in the comics so she doen't really count)
Has it ever occurred to anyone, especially after watching 'The pandorica opens' or 'Dark Water', that for hundreds of years, the Doctor was carrying around a dead human head inside a metal container and calling it his friend? Just... Just think about that...
Firstly, the current Cybermen use the entire body for conversion, secondly, the head had all of its organic components removed before it came into the Doctor's possession.
Check Season 1 Episode 6 "Dalek". Around 1:10 The Doctor sees a severed cyberman head and when Rose asks him "what's that?" he replied "an old friend of mine".
Zacho789 false if you read the doctor who wiki The Doctor got Handles at a black market somewhere in the 52nd century besides the one in "Dalek" was a classic Cyberman head.
I was just stating a coincidence. Of course the head in "Dalek" couldn't be Handles, because it's the 9th Doctor, but it's cool to think about it. Nice fact check on that though.
To Handles, the Doctor's longest and shortest companion in History.
Doctor Who.
The only show who can make you cry like crazy...when a decapitated robot head runs out of battery.
MOFFAT!
Best. Companion. Ever.
BRING BACK HANDLES!
YESS
omg it actually was the longest running companion
Handles should have become a permanent companion for Capaldi. I never thought I would ever cry over the death of a cyberman head.
Well he was the doctors longest lasting companion
Maybe, maybe, just maybe, maybe the Twelfth Doctor will fix him up and bring back Handles again, though that's unlikely.
The moment I saw this scene I knew handles was fan favorite material.
Well done, mate, indeed.
The Doctor should have more companions like Handles.
I agree, an alien companion would be nice.

Al Calone ... Susan Foreman?
...Good point.
But how about another alien species, that's just a tiny bit different from a human companion?
Al Calone Yeah someon who would need a disgues on Earth because all his alien companions don't really stand out walking down the street (well one but she was in the comics so she doen't really count)
This might be a stretch, but would anyone like to see a Dalek companion?
The only Cybermen who we liked.
Yep
what about pink?
I cried more when handles died than when matt smith regenerated,,,
HANDLES!!!!!!!! WHY?????????
Alex Stewart Me too. I kinda wish Matt Smith's regeneration scene into Peter Capaldi was slow just like David Tennedant's departure.
I loved this video, you did a great job, just wish there were more handles clips, thanks Kat
Agree! I wish he didn't die... Thankuu :)
R.I.P Handles
The longest lasting and most beloved companion of the Doctor
Never forget. Well done mate.
"Come back handles... handles..."
Isn't that just like Steven Moffat trying to make the Doctor Who audience cry and have feels for a Cyberman Head, and succeeding😢
legit, this was the only time i cried in the time of the doctor. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU HANDLES!!!!
Goodbye, Handles. You were not long for this time stream, but you have a special place in our twin ventricular systems. Cheers, mate.
great tribute! didn't realize the meaning of #DocDles bond until the end of this video :(
I really want Handles back on the next season, he was so much fun!!
In Memory of The Doctor's 2nd (if we're counting the comics) Cyberman companion.
Has it ever occurred to anyone, especially after watching 'The pandorica opens' or 'Dark Water', that for hundreds of years, the Doctor was carrying around a dead human head inside a metal container and calling it his friend?
Just... Just think about that...
Umm...... Do you watch doctor who it's a brain not a head
Firstly, the current Cybermen use the entire body for conversion, secondly, the head had all of its organic components removed before it came into the Doctor's possession.
Padaster He kind of reminds me of a cybernetic version of " Wilson " ( " Cast Away " reference. ). Seriously.
+The hd gamer Spot - on. With maybe C3 - PO's head thrown in. :)
A moment of silence for the mostly mechanical majordomo, please.
LOL
This is beautiful!
i get teary eyed when i think of handles
Captain Jack Harkness and Handles = Dream Team
I do believe the voice of Handles is also the voice of Mr. Smith on Sarah Jane Adventures.
He never did patch the telephone through the console unit...
COMFORT IS IRRELEVANT
+Ryan Troche and now, thats better?
+gohanmoreno7
BETTER...
I almost started balling when handles died... 😔
well done mate
Handles the best cyber man
The music though
:( Goodbye Handles Goodbye
nooo! not the british buttler!! I cried):

Gerry Davis must be turning in his grave.
HAAAAANDLES!!!! ='(
loving the good vibes. keep the faith. love you all. even the downtrodden, cynical fckers out there
who would do this
Where did Handles come from? Does anyone know? Have I missed an episode?
