Nice work!! The car looks great!!
@@NewEdgeDesigns Thanks! Took some digging but finally figured out what the problem was
@@Lethal_Venomalways a good feeling!!
@@NewEdgeDesigns haha yes absolutely
So the aeroforce is still reading -20 and 15 and the mechanical is reading 10? With your pulley combo, isn’t it supposed to be more around 20? Usually with aftermarket gauges, they have UT into the boost line behind the glove box. I wonder if the boost line is off on the back of your cluster and it’s making the mechanical pillar gauge not read correctly
@@justin.c_svt very real possibility as the stock gauge has never worked. Need to take it out and check.
Read 18 psi on the dyno. I’m sure the long tubes are lowering the boost despite the pulley combo. Between both gauges and the dyno it’s all read different peak boost so who really knows lol
@@Lethal_Venom My engine with the 3.5" upper / 4LB lower and Kooks longtubes turns 18 psi boost. My whipple 2.3 is a Gen 2 which supposedly is one of the best in the 2.3 Whipple blower family for efficiency and boost. I remember reading that it has 2 psi more boost than the Gen 1 with the same pulleys, but I don't know how it stacks up to yours.
@@tomkjr1 same set up except mines a 6# lower
I'm thinking that with the bigger lower, you should be more in the area of 20 psi boost.
My stock boost gauge also doesn’t work so I’d be curious what you find out if you ever end up pulling the cluster
I'll do an update on it, probably wont be a video topic but I'll fit it in with another video
Stock line was not connected, reads 20 vacuum now. Capped it off behind the glove box due to not being able to trace where the end is that goes to the cluster. I’ll hook it up at some point just because but didn’t feel like hunting for where that end of the line fell
