    You don’t ever takeoff on the job until something better is immediately available. You just keep doing both jobs until they bump heads so hard that you have to make a decision. When/if that happens consider it a good thing. You’re so busy at one thing that you cannot afford to do the other thing anymore.that has happened to me before. Don’t even think about it or stress about it just keep doing both jobs as much as you can until you have to make a decision. Who knows, it may always be like this. You just never know

      @@rayrayslawnlandscape2008 you’re in your 50s. You really need to have a game plan for retirement at a respectable age. Probably say 65. That’s what makes someone look really accomplished. When they retire at a respectable age and they’re able to live good. You’ve got about 12 or 13 years to do so. in 12 or 13 years you need to have enough money to live for 20 years and you need to have everything totally paid off. For 20 years you will need about $1 million if you would just like to have $50,000 a year basically $1000 a week for spending money. If you really want to livehigh on the hog then you’re gonna need a minimum of $2 million. The more the better. Chances are you’re not going to live until you’re 85 years old, but you just never know. You really need to crack down because you’re going to be 65 before you know it

      @@rayrayslawnlandscape2008 you’ve got 144 months to save up enough money to retire and live on the rest of your life. That’s if you retire at a respectable age. Usually if you can retire at 65 or earlier that shows that you were truly successful. The people that keep on having to workdon’t make it look as good

    Stick with the bread and butter of your lawn mowing. Do the skid steer work every now and then and in the off season just like your doing. Your living somebody’s dream. Continue on Ray ray. Life is good

    I’d eventually let Toby manage the lawn maintenance with another employee and then you run skid steer maybe next year or in two years

    was you able to find out an easier way to loosen the tracks on the skid steer or why it was so hard this time?

    • @rayrayslawnlandscape2008
      @rayrayslawnlandscape2008  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Loosening the tracks is pretty easy. There's only one way to really do it And that is to compress the front idler assembly and push it back.
      That's what's gotta happen to put slack in the track.
      The location of the machine and everything made it a lot more difficult to get it loose. That was the first time I ever did a track on that machine.
      I definitely feel I could do it much easier and am
      more comfortable with the whole process - Now I have a little toolbox that has all the stuff I need sockets, wrenches, come along - everything to do the tracks, and now I have learned a few little tricks along the way.
