i loved this video as a fellow OTGW megafan- and as a sewist! OTGW halloween costumes were actually one of my first bigger sewing projects and they were a VERY similar experience- a lot of mess & tension issues but guess what - it was super important cuz i got experience!!! sewing is a LOT of learning aka trial by fire but we all start somewhere & i hope you can enjoy it more in the future :) my biggest tip is dont start with stretchy fabrics & experiment with tension! (plain cotton weave like your bag is good to start, also the bag looked really nice as a very first thing!!) ik im 8 months late on this video but i have really been enjoying your cozy content & wish you well on the sewing/art/life journey :)

Your videos make me laugh! Your humor is refreshing! I don’t know how to sew either but I have a sewing machine from the 50’s in its own cabinet deal. I used it once, broke the needle and now it’s a small table. Your new puppy is adorable! Loved seeing him bite the fabric while you were working. FUN!
Dont be to hard on yourself. Your still learning, and sewing takes a bit of time x
