Most of these businesses need to be shut down for poor cleanliness. People are disgusting. One of the reasons I do not want to be employed at these places. These managers that are often trifling but blinded by their warped egos do not care about anything except their sense of superiority and deserve nothing.

I worked at a red lobster in the 80s and I worked in the kitchen,at closing time we had to clean everything from the hood vents to the floor every night we never saw a cockroach or rodent.this is a case of people just doing the bare minimum now days

Years ago, I drove taxi on weekends in Toronto while attending college. I received a radio call to get a takeout order at a small Chinese eatery on Danforth Avenue. It was a warm July evening and, as I stood outside the side kitchen door waiting for the order, I saw two kitchen workers using a pail, right beside a crate of vegetables, as a urinal. There was lots of "splashing" onto the "veggies." When done, they simply "gave it a shake," zipped up and went back to cooking without hand washing. I left without the order and contacted my dispatcher. I found out the following week that he contacted the customer who was glad that I left without the order. p.s. On Monday I called Toronto Health Department. I was told that they receive many calls every week about filthy restaurants and over half of the complaints are about Chinese eateries.
That makes you think about eating out and where you eat out. From now on, have to do really hard. Investigation on everywhere anyou are. Going to have dinner at lucky for me I love to cook😂😂😂
Here's another. My father was a meter reader for Toronto Electric (Toronto Hydro). Back then, all meters were inside and usually in basements. He always had horror stories about what he saw in the basements of Chinese restaurants. He saw, over the years and in no particular order, dead rats and mice, live rats, mice and insects crawling over crates of vegetables, "layers" of rat and mouse sh*t on floors, insects on walls, overflowing toilets and even a few dead cats. he always assumed that the dead cats were the next day's Chef's Special.
MOST People are Unclean-Nasty!! These people Definitely work in the Majority of these Restaurants!! Never Understood especially if this is your Business!! 🤨
People would have more respect for these places and people if they actually owned up to their mistakes. "No comment" or "Nobody here will take to you" is a pathetic and cowardly response. Well, hope you're happy if no one shows up.

I worked at that red lobster for two weeks (quitted due to rude management). remembered the bugs too day 1 lol. Glad they got what they deserved. 😂
