    My brother in Christ, this car is epic.

    Sounds badass man I wish my 2867r would be so audible on cold starts, the 660 sounds like a legit jet engine haha
    +1 for the EWG, I've got one too and I was thinking, is there any reason why our cars have such a different sound with en EWG? When I've seen clips of MS3/6, STI's, and Evos with EWG's they all have a pretty similar sound but the ST just sounds a lot different

      I was actual wondering the same thing! I figured it was either the small diameter dump tube or just the unique sound of the 2.0l Ecoboost. The 660 is quite talkative tho, I was having a hard time getting it on video

      @@zyacub4008 You might be on to something with the diameter of the dump pipe, it'd be sick to get that wastegate chopping sound on the ST

      Damn so the 2867 I just ordered isn't going to be very noticeable? Can you hear it spool just cruising?

      Yea the 2867 is pretty talkative and gives a nice whistle. Just not quite as loud as the 25-660 given the larger size

      I just meant on cold starts the 660 spools loud as hell where as the 2867 isnt as noticeable

    Awesome vid! I'm getting an eargasm everytime haha! Yo I need to ask a question though. Do you have a flex fuel kit? A flex fuel kit for me would be amazing, especially during these winter times when the E-85 in my area goes down to like E-75. Everytime I fill up, I got my test tube and I'm testing just to make sure I'm getting the correct mixture. Although during the summer, it's always E-85 which is awesome. I got one other question for ya. I get my E-85 at wawa, so therefore I'm using their 93 to mix, should I steer away from doing that? And instead use any of the top tier stations near me? I do have E-85 jugs, but I never used them because I thought I would have to drive an hour away for E-85, when it turns out it's right up the street from me lol. So they've just been sitting in my garage collecting dust.

      So I have an ethanol content gauge installed and it helps ALOT. Every station is going to be a little different, so I have the sensor to get my mix spot on. As far as the quality of the 93 you are mixing with, I’m not exactly sure. On my pump gas tune, I had no issue with filling up with 93 at different stations. Someone else might be able to chime in and shed some light on that question. How important is the quality of 93 you are mixing with? Also, is it harmful to mix more of a lower percentage e85 to still obtain the desired tank mix?

      I did! Sent the crank off to speedperformance for the keying service and had a local machine shop deck the block and head.

    Is it laggy tho?

    • @zyacub4008
      @zyacub4008  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For the power output you can’t buy a more responsive turbo. It has small amount more lag than a 2867r making almost 200hp more! I love it so far... the car is still loads of fun in the mountains as well in a straight line

      @@zyacub4008 sounds like a nice unit. I’m weighing out my options. Would you recommend? I’m trying to reach similar power goals.

    • @zyacub4008
      @zyacub4008  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea I’d absolutely recommend. 600whp sounds amazing in a focus st but I’ve honestly considered leaving it around 500. I think we are creeping up on 550 wheel and I can already tell traction in 3rd will be difficult even with the r888r. Just something to keep in mind. This car surprises a lot of people with that long 3rd gear. If you keep the stock cams, I’d definitely recommend doing valve springs and retainers so you can rev her out to 7-8krpm

    • @fritzjean-philippe2464
      @fritzjean-philippe2464 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zyacub4008 I honestly want to keep it right at 500whp. I’ll probably get a keyed crank for safety but I’m not sure when it’s actually recommend and what are you thoughts on the stock valve springs if I’m keeping the stock cams

    • @zyacub4008
      @zyacub4008  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keyed crank is recommended for 500+. You can keep the stock springs but they are only 35lb springs I believe. You will definitely have to keep a close to stock redline and with a bigger turbo the power really shines from 7-8k rpm
