My dad discouraged me from going because apparently the commute (i.e. the road leading to the park) is in really poor condition and is very dangerous with frequent accidents. He’s based in Accra so we would be travelling from GA to the Central Region. I would still like to attempt it someday, the views look amazing~
Our journey out there was ok but in general we agree, you do see a lot of accidents on the streets of Ghana. For now maybe take a look at our article about the Kakum National Park with tons of photos: ghana.for91days.com/kakum-national-park/

@@For91Days I stayed in Cape Coast for 2 nights. I traveled Ghana from costal area to North border and back, for 30 days. Thanks, I will look at the link.
Do you have to go on the canopy walk when visiting this park? I am having anxiety just looking at the video so I know I can’t do it. I am going there is a few weeks
There are other tours as well which hikes for example. If you're traveling around Ghana, you might find other inspiration on our Ghana Travel Blog: ghana.for91days.com/
