I used to come here for a prayer during weekdays whenever i'm in distress or i miss my family back home in Sarawak. I'm not Catholic but this place is a sacred sanctuary for me. My favourite place till now. I no longer work and live in KL as i decided to go back to Sarawak for good 5 years ago. But whenever i go to KL for business trips, should there is a slightest chance for a quiet time, i still go to this place. A place for me to seek solace, guidance and time with God. It was here i shed my tears when my 1st marriage fall apart. It was here i pour out my misery and it is the same place, i surrender my will after accepting personal defeat. Whenever it seems to be NO WAY, GOD will make A WAY for us. Wishing all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as The Messiah, a blessed Christmas. May you continue to have FAITH in GOD who is the source of our strength. Our faith should be based on UNSEEN THINGS, not what see in front of our eyes.

Not entirely true, I was ordained a deacon in the Cathedral but ordained a priest in the Church of St Francis Xavier in PJ.

Father, please remember your Christian brothers and sisters in Gaza and the West Bank.
It would be lovely to see Malaysian Christians stand in solidarity with them.
      Merry Christmas to you!

It's a commemorative celebration. The orthodox church is celebrating Christmas on January 7.

It is not known the exact day of His birth, so the early church appointed a day when the birth should be remembered. It is like we don't know when the Blessed Virgin died and was assumed into heaven. So August the fifteenth was designated as the day when we should remember this event.
