Just something of note I want to point out with the businesses on your list. Zhao's Fancies and East Coast Ranchuu are both US breeders, the rest are importers. You really get the best of the best quality fish they have to offer bred right here in the US, and they won't have been through as much stress from being shipped overseas. I have bought from East Coast and had a beautiful healthy fish and great experience. I'm going to buy from Zhaos this summer. I'm also very hesitant to but from importers as some of the parasites/fish viruses coming from China are becoming increasingly more resistant to medications. A friend of mine bought from Coast Gem, the fish she received were infected with costia, she couldn't kill the parasite, and it wiped out almost all of her fish.
I think another thing to consider about quality is the actual physical shape of the fish. I’ve noticed the 2day shipping for KKGF options tended to have links in their backs (but to be fair the price is actually insanely good because flat rate shipping is always $50 and the price tends right always be lower than $50) and goldfish island doesn’t have the best ranchus in terms of wen growth, for their price if ranchus you’re better off buying from king koi

I've ordered from both. I personally like King Koi just a little bit better. Goldfish Island is nice, but 2/4 fish I ordered died within a year. The other two are thriving still though. One from swim bladder issues that started to appear about a month into having her, and the other suddenly about 5 months in. I have my 3rd King Koi shipment coming in tomorrow. I like that its economical to buy just one smaller fish with them, whereas buying less than 4 with Goldfish island is more expensive. I also battled ich BAD a week after getting my Goldfish Island fish and the advice I was given when I reached out to support was not great advice. I keep Butterfly Teles, and have had fancies for most of my life.
That's unfortunate that you had such a bad experience with Goldfish Island. My experience was kind of the opposite as the KingKoi fish I ordered only lasted a few months while I've had the two from GFI for over a year with no issues. Good to know of the issues you faced with GFI though

They quarantine and treat each fish before they go on sale. There is always a small chance that a parasite could get through. I've ordered twice from Goldfish Island and both fish were healthy and caused no problems to my other goldfish. @@TheAquaticCoder unfortunately 1 out of 5 got hurt he swims around for a few sec and lays down on his side idk what happen but something that I was really mad that they put all the fish together sum where big and small

I noticed king koi goldfish is a very noticeable amount cheaper that goldfish island why is that?
I don't know for sure. They are in California so maybe it is cheaper to import from Asia. Gf Island is on the east coast
