I posted a comment I had some questions about my goldfish. I have two goldfish and 125 gallon tank I’ve had one for about five years and the other one four. I woke up this morning and one of the fish were dead. And they had been eaten fine and I never had an issue with them eating.

Luke, the difference between butterfly and telescope is a butterfly, when viewed from above, the tail resembles a butterfly. A telescope just has telescopic eyes but not the butterfly-looking tail from the top view!

I just figured I’d let you know if it helps any that calico sounds more like cal-la-co not cal-like-co, like the cat coloration, it took me a minute to realize you were referring to their coloration and I may not be alone. It may just help in the future for those interested in getting aquatic friends :)

That's lovely, I had goldfish for a bit but they never survived longer than 1.5 years :( they had a big tank, good conditions, no stress at all it's just in the summer the water temperature was slightly warmer and yet they were still dying :(
@@ania5472 i have 3 goldfish together in a 30g with a betta (the tank has a heater) so the water is always pretty warm. i'm surprised that your fish died due to heat!
@@syxoed I mean they didn't have any parisites or anything they slowly stopped responding and died, and when I replaced their warm water with cold water it slightly improved, but it didn't do much

After learning a bit more about these fish from your channel, I have to say that the ranchu is my favorite. The ones with the fins are cool looking but the ranchu ones are just so cute and goofy looking with their round little bodies. I also think the Pearl scale ones are pretty cute. I can’t even really explain what’s so cute about them, they just are.
