River frontage affords this property great potential. As a surveyor, any prospective buyer will need deep pockets just to address issues with the basic fabric of the building.
Damion - I stayed in henley in July 2022 and more recently last week! During my stay in 2022, I stayed at the Ralais Hotel, and the grounds of this property were used as a parking area for guests staying at the hotel across the bridge. I was blown away by the frontage of this property you are now selling, love the Georgian features and the back garden. As for Henley, my girls LUUUUURVVED it this year - we stayed at the Hotel Du Vin, and also visited Stonar Park, along with lunch at the Fox and Hounds at Christmas Common. A SIMPLY AMAZING LOCATION.
Damion, I am guessing that one of the most important appointments after purchase would be the architect/s? I love this, but my head spins at all those rooms and buildings. To sympathetically and ingeniously maximise the plot and potential whilst retaining the character and the family aspect of this home takes a lot of vision and familiarity and experience.. I’d be ok with the Georgian house and extending that, but all the other bits and pieces.. 60 years and I bet the owners still didn’t know every nook and cranny… art studio, granny annexe, guest suite, function hall, summer lounge, erm, winter lounge… atrium, tropical atrium.. my first step would be to find some help. I think I can see now how and why those guys earn their money. I know what I like, ..once I’ve seen it 😅
I can only imagine what beautiful wood lies beneath that awful white paint. Hopefully the wood has some sort of clear coat that stopped the white from getting in to the grain.

It’s a hidden gem I think!!! Really glad you enjoyed huge stay here
What an utter inviting home just needing a "little" work but that location is worth the price alone.
Thank you Damion, this really is probably my favourite house to date. It is unique and I absolutely love its history and character.
I agree. The potential is crazy!
So many possibilities here. Thanks for the tour!

Bit of rain up in Oxford and it'll look just like Atlantis.
This house has everything I love ,a bargain
It would be a nice b&b, but to furnish it would cost a fortune.
