One of, if not the most sympathetically and tastefully restored and kept mansions i have ever seen. It is sublime. The owners have impeccable taste and vision.
This house had a beautiful balance of old and new world. The intimacy of the courtyards and the beauty of the vast expansive grounds was perfection and went hand in hand. Well done.
Probably the best tour of a most beautiful house I’ve seen. An absolute dream home that’s so huge but also so cosying, just an amazing achievement and wonderfully presented,I’m completely blown away!
Thats the loveliest comment. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. It was a big jump to go from behind the camera to infront of it. January I'll be back posting new videos on here. You have made my day, thank you
That is just crazy...so much space & so well maintained. Love the old heating copper pipes in the house...you really have to have an appreciation of history to truely appreciate this architecture. So much land, that could be used for crops....with modern tech, it could be a feasible business
Aren't pipes beautiful! I agree...its stunning and the current owners have done a wonderful job of renovation it and bringing it back to its former glory. It was made into offices before this and lost alot of its character
@@Tim_prime_property oh yes...they did a heck of a job there indeed. I could relate, after restoring a colonial home i inherited. The tone & mood of passers by went from "it'll be cheaper if they tear it down & put smth modern" & "why are they spending that kind of $$?" To "OMG its so beautiful!" & " i could not have imagined!". Hats off to the owner & yourself sir for bringing it to many
Truly captivating, the gardens are enchanting and the house... well what can i say...just superb. Found your channel Sir by 'accident' and very pleased i am too. Subscribing and liking came very easily. Your presentations are also excellent, a very hearty 'well done ' to you.
What a wonderful house. The owners have done a great job retaining the character but making it a practical 21C home. I’d like to have spent longer in the kitchen though- you know how much we love a beautiful kitchen!
A lovely tour of of a fine English country home! I can’t help but wonder what the unseen bedrooms held. The gardens are a treasure - I could imagine meandering about them endlessly. Thank you, Tim!
Tim, naturally I have to mention the intro with your 996 C4S. Just beautiful. You seem SO natural in front of the camera. Clearly you have so much passion which comes through in spades. What is your favourite room or feature in this property?? mine is the secret staff door! I love it.
@@Tim_prime_property It really is! And i ask a silly question, how long to houses like these typically stay on the market? let’s say the price is market value, is it usually a long slog selling houses at this price point?
@HamiltonJamesCars actually it's a mixed bag. Pre Covid some large country houses did by virtue of the market just take longer to sell. Over covid they were snapped up in days. Things are still selling now though. There is always a market for a good country house
@@Tim_prime_property that’s crazy that these sorts of houses get snapped up so quick, i suppose what better place to be if we ever have another lock down or something similar
@HamiltonJamesCars I think there is still that want for a country lifestyle. People can often work more remotely now so being so close to London etc is less important
Did you say ‘inaudible’ amount of time. I assume you meant inordinate? It’s beautifully renovated but I would not buy it because I find all that wood just too much. I would want to paint it which would be a crime so I couldn’t do it.
Good videos but 1 piece of advice. For presentation purchases when you drive up to these houses, you should put some music. I thought my volume was turned down as there is no sound until you speak.
It's a home that has a lot of classic detail I'm not a huge fan of tone-on-tone, unfortunately that's just the byproduct of the era... You have a lot of areas and thankful for a designer that has some connections and vision, there is nothing exotic about the wood paneling, if they wanted to treated and give it a darker matte finish please, to give it a real contrast, it would be phenomenal in the right rooms. It is a stately home, I will give you that... €6 mil euros, I don't know about that.
Had the pleasure of staying here with the family who owns this house, all of which were always very welcoming to us when we stayed

Thank you Marco. It's beautiful isn't it, I love the different areas of the garden

Thanks Bob

I do my best...but its difficult to show so much in a day of filming. Would you believe this video took about 6/7 hours straight filming 🎥
@@Tim_prime_property It’s a big house… you make it look seamless!

Why are there no more regular fireplaces in The UK anymore?
❤amazing🎉🎉🎉
Great presenter
This house looks like “Stately Wayne Manor”!
Hey Tim
Very Beautiful House and the final edit of the video is great.
Do you create and edit your own videos.
Hello - thanks. I have a company who does it for me
@@Tim_prime_property is there any open position for a editor in your company.
Is the grand piano included?
As a price perhaps

The owners were not able to save their estate, they must be devastated.

@@Tim_prime_property Yep it was on me.
Gorgeous house but I bet it would take an absolute army of staff to run it.
Interested in this property for 5 milons pond

Fella, that's one of the worst try-hard reg plates I've ever seen.
Another arriving by posh car trope. Impresses no-one.
Its just my car...
Home fantastic
The realtor man is great too
Thank you 😊
Wow. So cheap.
The east really does give great value 😊
LA in the English countryside. This house has lost it’s soul.
