@@GreekEJD FALSE. It's about 100k a month on a 30 yr mortgage, but it's 20k+ to maintain that a month. I'd guess over 40k, though, between cleaning interior, maintaining grounds, replenishing usables, maintaining entertainment equipment, maintaining mechanical equipment, feeding animals, etc you'd have to have someone just to manage maintenance at least part time (contracts, scheduling, access, records keeping). 40% on top of an already expensive mortgage is enough even for the rich to stay away, especially considering they would certainly not live there full time and maintenance still has to keep going.
@@leok7193 Yeah, that was what I picked up on watching the video. Maintenance would be a nightmare and unless you stayed on top of it, it would start to look rough very quickly. AZ is very dusty and only takes a few storms for it to look bad outside.

Billionaires don't care. They have tons of personal staff. My brother in law worked for one (Middle Eastern family), he was in charge of vetting staff/vendor personnnel and security, said this family had effectively about 200 staff who worked full time just to ensure their every need/desires were attended to immediately, no matter where they were in the world. With property like that, you can always escape the heat. Severe heat is only for a few months. The rest of the year is great weather compared to other parts of the states.
I love and am in awe at the creativity, thought, attention to detail, practicality, and simple enjoyment of this property. Each room has its own inventive features. The property has been designed with care and love. Amazing!!!
Properties like this aren’t the problem. The “actual” issue is foreign owned alfalfa fields taking all of Arizona’s water for cheap because the state government doesn’t have any agricultural restrictions or regulations
@@michaelgrey3457 the Sadie's didn't have cheap access to our ground water! Those fuckers had unfettered free access to our ground water! The only difference is at anywhere between $25,000-$50,000 A pop the smaller farms can't afford to continuously drill! But when your not paying for your water you've got some extra money laying around! And even though water usage wasn't part of their lease, drilling or the prohibition of it was, and it strictly prohibited further drilling! But what did we expect when A nation comes to us wanting to grow A water thirsty crop in one of the most inhospitable places on the planet? Why you might ask? Cause it's (Illegal) to grow it in their country cause it takes too much water! Ya so let's grow it in AZ cause it's not like we have A surplus of extra water to share with other nations! The most fucked up part about the whole thing isn't so much that they had no regulation or limits to what they could use! It's that with all that water usage none of it went to benefit animals here, it didnt create jobs for locals, it in no way benefitted our economy! Nope they just used whatever they could and shipped all the proceeds back to the middle east! It was almost Heart breaking driving by that place on our way back from the dunes these past few years! The gap between the 99% of people involved in film and TV and the 1% of the wealthy in film in TV is even worse. The gap between the 99% of people involved in music and the 1% of the wealthy in music is even worse. Do you hold those industries to this same standard? Don't know what the owner who built it was thinking, but expect it to sit forever on the market. I'm pretty sure nobody local has the kind of money to buy and maintain this and if they did, they'd probably build their own vision. Seriously, all that property to put them on, you could turn it into a source of income feeding back into the grid. I would also feel way too guilty to ever turn the misters on. Cool as hell but man what waste of water...if you're gonna live in the desert you gotta deal with the desert.

First time I have ever seen a 2 story closet . I love this house . Only other thing I would like to add to the property would be that field that is next to it . Would be a great place for horses .
That's exactly what I was thinking! Just build a huge canopy over the property with A retractable roof for when it's not sooo freaking hot out. Throw in some of those bigass fans and misters. It'd be like being A kid again. Cause you could always find me out In our arena on my family's farm riding or out in our cornfields with my horse. He was my happy place. It's just almost too hot down here to ride year round unless you go early in the morning! I wonder what the plans are for that property next door? Cause the dirt looked freshly tilled like tere might be some building taking place there soon...
I'm not going to hate because people like what they like. It's impressive.. I just like wooded areas with natural springs. That go-kart track is fucking mint though. Holy moly!
Amazing, 20mil seems low for such a feature filled estate! I’d love to know the monthly nut on something like this for utilities and maintenance, probably a mind bending number 😮
Well depending how conscious they are about their water and power usage daily and weather or not all those misters and fountains are always running? Or is that something that only gets turned on when companies over or are they even there regularly? Cause everywhere looked pretty void of personal property that you'd expect to see! The gun safe was completely empty the closets were pretty much empty. There was clothing there but no where near the capacity it was designed for. Unless they are just super duper private people and hired people to packup all personal items and valuables around the property to keep anyone from getting the bright idea of robbing the place? Who really knows. But I'd say that even vacant with only basic utilities being used at they're minimum. It's probably atleast two grand. What surprised me most about this video is that unless i missed it somehow? It makes no mention of anykind of security systems to safeguard the property and its occupants! Ya know especially these days id definitely want to know how long does it take law enforcement to get to there property? Is law enforcement the slightest bit familiarized w8th the layout of the property? So say heaven forbid an intruder comes and shoots one of the occupants are the police and emergency services even gonna know where to go when they get there? Or is it gonna take em twenty or so minutes just to find you to render first aid when every moment counts? Ya sure there's a gun range there making them atleast somewhat gun enthusiasts, who may very well have extensive training! But it looked like there was only one way in and out of there, and it wasn't even from the main house. It was the man cave staircase. And there was another three rooms and 4 more bathrooms that weren't even shown in the video! It's a great place absolutely beautiful property. You can tell no expense was wasted here no corners cut top knoch past in the industry work here. I just feel like there was maybe alot of things left out that should've been mentioned! Like are they on well water if so how deep? And I feel like with all that rooftop space they've got and with how sturdy those structures all are! That there should definitely be some kind of solar system being used or as A backup power source! Mostly being A border state and the desperation of so many coming to our state. I think they should've made mentioning security A priority. Cause crime and the people that commit them don't care who you are, no one's impervious to bad guys trying to harm you to take what you have! If anything the wealthier you are the more appealing you become. And this place looks like A Cartels playground and logistical fortrace. I pray no harm comes to these people in any way. These are just things I would consider if I were them, and who knows maybe this place has A security system that rivals the WhiteHouse? There's other videos on this place maybe one of them mentions security in it!
Simply incredible. Imagine what they didn't show us, I'm sure there's a bunker and much more. Can only imagine growing up there! I've got a lot of cool fun things and I've worked hard for what I have, but watching this makes me feel like I should've worked much harder!
You would have more staff to care for the upkeep of everything like water maintenance, electrical, grounds, cleaning, maids, cooks, not counting when you not there. What about water bill, light bill,AC for that size house. This is a third or forth house for a billionaire, not millionaire.
The gun range sealed the deal for me! Now I would just change the golf simulator into a shooting simulator. Also, what's the deal with the empty lot next door, is that also for sale?
The One was just so off-putting to me, like I'd have no desire to live there at all. This place however, I'd never leave. It has so much more character, felt much more comfortable, just fun and functional with quality, unique finishes made to be used and last...As opposed to that monstrosity in LA where I don't believe it's designed to let you ever feel comfortable. That place was such a waste.
@@healthwellnessandhandbags2963 Exactly! I believe the one was up for sale at one point for 500 million vs this for 20 million. No comparison, this is "the one" for me at least
this is amazing although i cant imagine maintaining it and keeping it all clean and functional, it would require constant full time staff and without it all, it would fall apart very quickly. its an amazing facility but it would take a lot to keep it running and usable
What I’m guessing used to be a part of a family farm filled with hard work, love, and tradition is now a picture of the new American dream. Selfishness and money.
One of the biggest problems with the large homes is not making them feel like you're living at a hotel or the house was design with to many features making feel like a hotel, things like flooring, walls, & just how open the spaces are, you do not want to feel small inside of your own home. I've rented places like this for vacations with a total of 4 couples or more, mattering on the accommodations and interests from friends mostly in the Alps or the Rockies for alpine skiing and I think on every trip during dinner the question comes up, "would you feel comfortable living at the location?" ...number one negative answer has always been, "feels to much like a hotel & not like a home". But the most positive answer has always been, "Yes but only if with a group like of couples like how we were there now". So if you could get 4 or 6 couples who can stay friends living together for the resort hotel type 'homes' would work, but I do not see it working with a huge family in todays age, families today hate each other, hell they want family members to die because who they vote for. So I'd see if being a high end rental before it being a home, but only if in a Alpine Skiing area. No one wants to spend time outside in summer in AZ, even with a pool.
I have seen tours of mansions way bigger than this and way more expensive but this one is hands down my favorite one!! There is so much amazing things here im mind blown!

You covered lots of detail, gave us an appreciation for aesthetics provided by the architecture and interior/exterior design - and yet, despite this being a long video, it did not drag. I kept watching to see what next treat you would reveal! Almost meets my wildest dreamhouse notions - I would have gone heavier on the water-related features (lazy river, perhaps some swim access paths) and had a very robust library. But someone clearly had a beautiful dream and turned it into exquisite reality. Cheers! JW

I live in Gilbert and the amount of weed killer they must use on this property must be ridiculous. Definitely soaking into the groundwater. Weeds grow rampant here because everything is dirt. There’s also no solar. Their AC bill is probably 10,000 a month easily. Probably more. Mine is $500 a month and we keep it on 80 degrees lol. uhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...if they can afford the house...other costs wouldn't be an issue/concern. That's pocket change
@@leok7193I’m an Arborist out of Vegas & I’ve worked on many properties of some very wealthy ppl w/ some very impressive homes, property, & estates. I can tell you for fact that ppl in this echelon don’t think, worry, or deal w/ things like property maintenance, cleaning needs, costs, etc. These type of ppl have a full time assistant dedicated to taking care of all that. The assistant will find, call, schedule, & interact w/ all service providers. They are usually fairly competent & on top of stuff on behalf of the owner. Many times the assistants will have full time assistants or even full time groundsmen.
Many ended up not being paid, they would quit, when they demand their money the family would say "meh, see you in court" and they would just hire new ones. My brother in law finally quit because of how vile they were, they felt employees were animals to be mistreated until they run away. He ended up working for a new family nearly as rich, but they were nice to their employees and had high retention (fifteen years later, he still works for this family as their head of security).
I’ve seen these mansions toured time and time again, but this is the first one I actually ever wanted. If I hit the big game lottery, this is sold day one. It’s so well designed and appointed, but you can live here and enjoy it. No stuffy pretentiousness. Just life at its fullest.
This is definitely up my alley. So many giant mansions are beautiful, but I wouldn't want to actually live there. I'd live here.
Honestly I wouldn’t live here I would be that cool rich guy that just lets anyone hang here
Tbh most of the homes on these channels are absolutely horrible, but this one is actually completely amazing! No horrible ridiculous shiny surfaces driving you nuts anywhere. And a Go-kart track. The rooftop spaces are cool. The veggie garden is great. Sold.
No it’s not good it’s horrible it’s just everything together and it’s tasteless it’s ok for parties but living there it’s hell it’s cold af it’s just so whoever owns this crap can feel like the boss and throw parties so people who pretend are his fiends can rip him
Crazy. My lady was telling me about this place yesterday and now shows up in my algorithms. Credits should go to the interior and exterior designers somewhere in the description or something. This is next level that deserves major props to promote them. Bravo 👏
You have got to be the best real estate agent i have witnessed on here You knew the house, you knew the features, you KNEW the names of things EXCELLENT EXCELLENT
this is honestly one of he coolest houses ive seen on youtube so far
definitely
Andre Ethier had the home we all want
You sure this one isnt from Andre Ethier also? Plenty of letter E's claiming the place. In the tile, on the man cave..
Out of all these kinds of channels and videos, I think this is my favorite property I've seen in this format.
Two story closet? Umm. I'm sold! The incorporation of the natural elements, water and fire, are so tasteful. Despite the massive size and extravagance, it manages to ve welcoming and comfortable! Amazing design!
This is a family's dream! It has something for everyone. Lovely lovely home.
By far the coolest billionaires estate I,ve ever seen. Here’s someone with fantasy and living the dream👍 well done 👍
Nope, just scumbag Jeffry S. Sawyer, stealing from people like you at his urgent care centers, then defrauding insurance companies and the govt on top of that, who has since lost his license to practice medicine in AZ, google it!
>60 year old blue collar retiree, who has always fantasized about what I'd spend my, yet to come🤞, Powerball winnings on. Seeing this amazing property makes me realize just how limited my imagination has been, lol.
There's a few things, like the peacocks and some of the decor(I'm looking at you, master bedroom), that I could do without, but overall, OMG! what a well planned, beautiful space, replete with every possible convenience and entertainment option for my family and friends...and their families and friends...and their families and friends, too! 😂
Thanks for upping my pipe dream game.👍
I hear you loud and clear. I used to work in Vancouver and saw some pretty cool homes. Bob Rock from the Payolas, the late great Pat Quinn from the Canucks, the most expensive condo property in YVR at the time (1995), etc, but the design elements and imagination along with what money can build and create these days is always mind blowing. Keep buying those lottery tickets my friend. I know I will. Porsche 911 GT3RS is on my list for sure
Wow just wow! Insane property, you would never have to leave except to replenish food & tp! The women's closet, nice! Only thing missing is slide for pool n lazy river! Lol
And a bowling alley!! 🎳 lol
This is the most GORGEOUS property, EVER! Thank you for exploring it for us!!!!!
If I had a casual $20 mill, I'd buy this place. They made great use of the space and monies that went into it. Seems like a bargain. There's getaways for the getaways. The architecture and living systems are mind blowing. Really amazing. If you can afford the house, you could afford the maintenance. "Hey Lebron, what are you doing after the playoffs?"
Then why is it for sale? Most rich people live well beyond their means and are always on the verge of financial ruin.
@@SteveSherman-jp1dzsource for your claim? And theres a plethora of reasons to sell your home... your comment is beyond idiotic
Save your money. it was originally sold for 4.7M in 2017. 20M is a rip off now. The original owner was Andre Ethier, LA Dodger. Thats why there are Es everywhere on the property.
@@SteveSherman-jp1dz Its for sale because the owners want to make a crap ton of money. They bought it for 4.7M in 2017 and now reselling it for 20M. It was designed by Andre Ethier, former LA Dodger. He listed it for 5M, sold it for 4.7M and bought another house in Phoenix for 1.6M.
Great use of the space?
Wow, the thought that went into this house is next level, $20 mil seems worth it.
until you discover it cost 4 million a year just to operate and maintain
The water bill alone for Arizona must be crazy.

@@iKumala Pretty high I would think with so many ways a person could get hurts, or die... can you imagine the civil suits for a wrongful death or serious injury on your property during a party or a go cart crash.
I honestly don't think it will sell for a LONG time. I live right by this and it's location is terrible for this kind of place. It's the most expensive house by 10x. It's in the middle of nowhere with farmland surrounding it. People like you and me wouldn't care about that at all, but someone who's worth 50m+ wouldn't want to live there. They all live north in Scottsdale. It would take a VERY specific type of person to buy this. Even though it's spectacular.
Legit I would never this place, you can spend everyday doing something different in this mansion and not repeat it for months and months….. what an ultimate resort/playground experience in your own home.

What a fun house! I bet the owner, architect and designer had tons of great fun thinking up all of these ideas! Wow! Very, very impressed. Subscribed!
I think it was originally a spa resort that the owner turned into a “home” so to speak. Splendid idea!

Good thing Arizona has such easy access to loads of water and there aren't any issues with that in the greater community.
And they had drillers come out there X3 different times to dig the wells deeper cause they were running dry! The neighboring properties and farms that'd been there for generations wells all ran dry just like the ones on the Sadie's alfalfa farms did!
With each year it getting progressively worse! This is the coolest house tour i've seen and i've watched a few 100 of these before. I love this setup. I've seen 20 mil houses that just have a lot of land and fancy finishes. But this one makes you feel like getting a lot, plus the beautiful home.
This video says "man cave mansion" but "her" closet was like a Russian nesting doll of ways to get away from "him" 😂 As a person who values her alone time I deeply respect that design choice 😂
If they both are trying to figure out ways to escape each other... sounds like they traumatize each other and should part ways. I don't get it.

You guys nailed this tour! Great job!
In person, this would probably take 3 hours to tour! Beautiful!
Don't know what the owner who built it was thinking, but expect it to sit forever on the market. I'm pretty sure nobody local has the kind of money to buy and maintain this and if they did, they'd probably build their own vision. It would have to be someone so super-rich that they want to have this place even though it's very specific to one individual's tastes, but probably not live there since anyone with that kind of money would not live in Gilbert, AZ full time.
@Pler1978 then you clearly got the wrong impression. 0 concern here. Facts are facts and I don't care one way or another. Feel free to lose your faith in humanity again

Holy moly!
The greatest property I’ve ever witnessed. Well done with this tour!
That Man Cave has everything every man could want.
I can't believe that this isn't $40-$50M. The man cave is the most impressive that I have ever seen.
Great tour!
The "secret" room is a sex room. That's what the plush, the swing and convenient shower are about lol :)
Damn, that is the ultimate entertainment house. It has everything for all ages. It is an amazing property.
The gun range sealed the deal for me! Now I would just change the golf simulator into a shooting simulator. Also, what's the deal with the empty lot next door, is that also for sale?
this house is insane , i remember i delivered material to this home
This tops "The One" by a longshot! Excellent value with this property!
Selfishness and money.
awesome house, surrounded by track homes lol! Gilbert AZ sucks lol!
that private balcony and hot tub setup is so sick
What a brilliant idea to put a get ready area adjacent to the main get ready area

I live in Gilbert and the amount of weed killer they must use on this property must be ridiculous. Definitely soaking into the groundwater. Weeds grow rampant here because everything is dirt.
