don't feel bad, my wife outfishes me all the time too lol she's a fesity little Sc redhead. when we lived in s la, we used to get those little gators in our backyard all the time after a real hard rain. when they got over 6 ft long, we'd fire the fry daddy up and make em vanish lol Those little brim and perch would be killer flathead bait, you had the same idea at the end there. I never did get out this summer in my bus, might have to try and cram a semi close to us weekend or two in before the freeze. take care
