  • The new Mu-X may have been out for a year now but the LSE variants are some of the better equipped PPVs in the Philippines. The LSE 4x2 particularly is pretty well specced compared to its competitors like the Ford Everest Titanium 4x2, Toyota Fortunter and the Nissan Terra VL 4x2. Aside from getting all the features of the top of the line LSE 4x4 like ADAS, it also has the most spacious 3rd row in its class and its fuel economy is also one of the best
Isuzu claims that this can do 1500km on a single tank of diesel. In this video, we'll get to test that as we'll spend a week with this SUV

If only that 2nd row slides, space optimization for this vehicle would be perfect. But still, for me, is the roomiest. And yes, it's Isuzu engine that is why I would buy one of these if I have the money.

Both have over 2000 liters of cargo space with all the seats down but I don't have the exact figure so I'm not sure. But they should be pretty close.

Hi JayWalkur. I am coming back to Cebu permanently in the not too distant future. When i resided there before i had a new 2008 Isuzu Sportivo 2.5 turbo 4x2. It had rear wheel drive and was excellent on the mountain roads for traction. I had that car for 7 years and it only had 45000 ks on it when i sold it. I am interested in the MUX (being Isuzu). There seems to be no information regarding the drive wheels on the 4x2 models, front or rear wheel drive? I'm in New Zealand. Bob.

They're available in either 4x4 or rear wheel drive variants

Hi Jay, I'm buying the new Norwegian Blue color. Thanks a lot for the good review of the Mu-X - simple, durable, and tough!

I think this is the best TOTL 4x2 out there, missing only a 360cam which is not really a necessity(for me atleast) but an easy fix if isuzu really wants to.
PS: Dont base consumption on the fuel gauges on isuzus. That top bar goes really long because of the design of the fuel tank.

True but I did try to get the average fuel consumption. 20.5kpl highway is not bad at all for a PPV

It's far from the best. They need to fix that ugly front face to compete.

You set the cruise to 85KPH. My grandmother drives faster than that and she's dead.
