- The Foton Tunland V9 4x4 is massive. Most pick ups that you see on our streets are mid-size, this one is full size. It's 2090mm wide, wider than even the Ranger Raptor. It's motivated by a mild-hybrid diesel powertrain and has a pretty luxurious looking interior.

Pinaka gwapo na mura ang price na pick up brand sa ngayun. Saksak sa hi tech features at ang ganda ng interior at exterior looks. Good Job Foton 👍💪👏🥰
Very true indeed
I bought BYD Shark (400+ whp) much better than Foton Tunland
Here are the prices from what I've read.
Foton Tunland V7 4x2 - 1.758M
Foton Tunland V7 4x4 - 1.888M
Foton Tunland V9 4x2 - 1.788M
Foton Tunland V9 4x4 - 1.998M
Nissan navarra pro 4x better for 1.8 than this
Id rather go to dmax or navarra. Top of the line.
Tunland is a full size not a midsize like the dmax/navarra. So for that price range, its more competitive
@@dasdaspree1847+hybrid
Mas okey ang porma nito kaysa ibang mga Pickup lalo na ang interior ... sana magising na ang mga Japanese Cars, kailangan na nila mag upgrade ng features.
Hindi ninyo alam na sa recent Manila Auto Show Foton has sent 20 V7 and 30 V9 Tunland units and all are sold out agad! Thats impressive! 😮
go to our City there's a 4x2 and 4x4 3 Foton Tunland V7 and 3 Foton Tunland V9 not yet sold out and still on display in a mall
@@totzinfo Hello, what city is that?
This is the top of my list. I'll buy next year. 💪
Foton has really come a long way! From a simple utility vehicle provider to rugged pick ups and SUVs! Way to go Foton Bravo! 👏😃👍
That’s called value for money mate
I bought BYD Shark (400+ whp) much better than Foton Tunland
@@totzinfo why you said better?
@@totzinfo nobody give a shit on your Burn You Die truck! Get the fuck
Out hear!
Goods tlga to foton proven and tested my toplander 7 years na nasira lang yung cross bearing clock spring at yung shock niya midyo mahina lang yung aircon nito available naman mga pyesa niya online nga lang hehe edit sobrang tipid sa diesel 25-30 klpltr 25 kpag sa city 30 kpag malayo biyahe
Hahaha it was only reliable because it was rocking a cummins engine although it was manufactured in china it is still American owned company so they're strict in quality. But you gotta agree the other parts are wearing out quickly does it ? I bet you your headlights are already yellowing and probably has cracks in it
sorry sir but 25 km per liter? sure po kayo?
@@joveedejuras2560 yes sir 70-80 lang takbo ko kpag malakas naman 15-18
I bought BYD Shark (400+ whp) much better than Foton Tunland
its a nice pick up for the price of 2m. cummins ang makina, getrag ang tranny at bosch ang electronics. much reliable sa 10r80 tranny ng mga ford.
how reliable, 10r80 rated 800nm torque..
hindi yan cummins.
I heard the first batch of 50 units of these trucks were sold out at the MIAS.
True 30 V9 and 20 V7 Sold out and received numerous of orders.❤
@@kevinpenaso2105 Interesting, they should keep the momentum by providing good aftersales service.
Saw this at MIAS today and it caught my eye for sure. Foton makes tough utility vehicles.
the front looks like a ram 1500 with the tail lights of a ford f-150??? Not to mention the name tunland is almost similar to the toyota tundra
Subrang ginalingan ng foton. This is sure a game changer. Maganda rn naman performance ng foton.
if you had to ask me or choose over the HiLux and DmaX, this will be the First choice! Malaki at maluwag! Solid ang loob, Pwede nang lagyan RAM badge yung V9, mag i Standout pag tinabi sa mga MidSize PickUp
Wow,I never knew that Ford F150 had children with Ram.😅😂
Its ramford 😅
This car is perfect for those who were in doubt whether to buy a Ram 1500 or a Ford F-150 😂😂😂
Atleast full size and high tech the price of a Ram and F-150 are rediculous. Thats why the Chinese can do business because they think outside of the box.
161 HP is quite small for its size.
It would be great if it has a V6 engine with around 250HP
Think about the prices sir. If you got the money, go with ram and f150.
Even the old Hilux D4D has more hp at 171hp. At least make it 200+hp
Ito yung budget meal na mapapa wow ka, kulang nalang LOGO ng RAM.
This is a massive pick up truck.
And with a Small Size pick up engine power
the top brands executive will spend hours late night sleep for this pickup! it will rock thea market🤫
The Godzilla of all pickup trucks
Little power for that size a truck, less than some mid sized.
V9 is a direct copy from Ram in front and F150 on rear, V7 is a copy from the F150. I wonder why they can’t make it in north america which should shake up the market
rare to be amazed at a Chinese brand but this pick up truck is wow
THE DESIGN IS A MIX OF DODGE RAM AND FORD F150.
Ang ganda lalo na yung interior. 😍
I wish i could by that thing it so luxurious and. Nice ❤
Looks great 👍😃
FOTON…. The Frankenstein of japanese and american pick up trucks.
Why not much info on the drivetrain?
Hybrid daw pero hindi man lang nabanggit?😅
Just like the Foton Thunder (Tunland G7), are those also going to be manufactured in Clark?
How do this compare to Silverado or F150? I find the 2 liter turbo engine too small to make this a workhorse truck. Most likely pang lifestyle truck lang (?)
oh yeah. parking this in malls or other places will be a challenge 😂
Let those who are impressed with low price and " nice " style buy it. I will wait for everyone's experience with longevity and durability after several years passed. Meantime, my hard earned money goes to Ford F150 or Toyota Tundra.
Let me ask you. Will you buy this truck?😊
If I have a money, why not. 😅😅😅
Yes why not..foton have a assembly plant here in the Phils, so basically parts can be sourced out easily...😊
kpag midyo mura sana kpag nandito na hehe
china man will buy..
If I have the money, I’ll buy a raptor 😅
Ram upfront, F150 at the rear. Sheeesh.
When the Tundra Landcruiser had a baby
TUNdra LANDcruiser. That is where it came from. Ha ha
This I would say assembled in the Philippines rather than made in the Philippines?
Its combination of Tundra and Landcruiser that is why they called Tunland
What about reliability, resale value and availability of parts?
Wow so UNimpressively COPIED OFF OF RAM AND FORD
Looks like Silverado and Ram mixed together to beat the Raptor😅❤ and I like it!
Raptors accessories made in Thailand n guess china tin bruh
v9 is a ram knockoff, while the v7 definitely looks a lot like the f150
Tunland V9 or V7 were impressive. please more info. about installment price
nice truck...great value for money.
We experienced Foton pickups and Van before and it’s a very bad experience when it comes to parts availability. Even though sabi sa casa local manufacturer lang ang sasakyan. Never again!😅
Is this assembled at Foton’s Clark Pampanga plant?
@jaywalkur what is the V9 0-100kph time?
Fuel economy?
Malaking screen for infotainment pero walang Apple Carplay?
Hey Alex, great reviews as usual! :) Can't wait to see the launch price. By the way, did Foton mention if this is included in the coding exemption list?
It's a mild hybrid so I'm not sure but most likely, it's not exempt
Body dimensions looks like Nissan Titan XD
Looks good not gona lie
THIS IS A FOTON RAM PICKUP
It look like GTV Kouprey make in Cambodia🇰🇭.
I would trade my toyota grs with this is the ride is better no cap
Awesome....
F150 and RAM 1500 order mo pero eto dumating 😂
They look like a gta version of the ram 1500 and the f150
Great review. PH cars in general have always been too costly to own than most of the world, with third world salaries at that. Copycat design aside, people will put their money on these trucks to make that statement - enough with overpriced vehicles. They’re getting so much metal, interiors that wow and a 4x4 transmission at a price point they can afford. It’s value over originality, that explains why they were sold out.
Im sure replacement parts are hard to come by
So true if you are the ones that supply the parts.
It’s true, we experienced this on our Foton thunder and Van before. A horrible experience, though pinagmamalaki ng casa na local manufacturer lang ang parts. Phirapan and need pa mag order online na dapat meron sa casa like aircon
@@RybergNikolai iba na ngayon they have corrected it already.
Astig!
Wow, whoever designed this truck made sure it was obvious as to where the design came from. This is a direct "copy and paste" of a couple American trucks... The V7 model looks like a Ford F150, and the V9 model looks like a Ram 1500 with a Ford F150 bed 😂
looks like trx
ganda nang kaha
Yes to Chinese car brands🎉
Similar with 2 western pick up. 🤔🤔😁
V9 is a RAM 1500 look alike 😅
How is the warranty coverage like?
Its 5 years or 150k mileage whichever comes first. Although its china brand, other brands cant beat that warranty
Ganda pag iipunan ko pang down
V7 IS THE CHINESE F150
Hmm why no mention of the price? Will it even arrive here?
It was just launched today at MIAS. The price is not final yet but ill put it in the description once the price is announced
but how about spare parts after 5 years of use?
If you haven't been informed, Foton has been present in the Philippines since 2006. So yeah, parts are available everywhere 😊
Maganda naman,diesel pa
That’s name combination Toyota tundra and landcruiser
I Have a hilux conquest CAN YOU PLS STOP BASHING THIS TRUCK nagagandahan ako honestly.
Me too, and that interior looks good. I might add this to my options but i need more reviews from it.
@@techietoma yes sir need more reviews and first hand experiences and if pwede modify yung mga suspension etc.
Same with me, mas okey eto sa aming Pro4x.
Well live with it you like it but they don't honestly.
@@SuperSoleREAPER also hoping na may cross compatible sya ng mga parts ng ibang pickup dito kahit ung mga usual lng na nasisira. then i guess pwde na tlga sya iconsider.
Opera background music anyone? 😅
Wow nmn v9. Paano nmn ang pyesa nyan
Bruh the copyright ram 1500
It looks like dodge ram and ford raptor f150😅
Foton the engine is made by Isuzu kaya matibay din ang engine
Wow! Ram 1500 clone...
ano ang after sales service? sagot?
Ok ang after sales nito kasi dito yan inassemble.
Why are the chinese incapable of putting an adequate engine into full size trucks and SUVs? 160HP is ridiculous.
Meron kaya to sa mindanao maganda makita ng personal ehhehe
Foton Gensan
Parang copy kasi eh yong dodge ram 1500
Kalokalike Ram TRX
So-called full-size pickup truck that has less power than my Toyota Innova. Great job Chinese. If you think that interior has actual leather, I have a bridge you will love.
Ram TRX
Bro dont make vid on this bruh they rebranch the hillux
Looks like a Dodge Ram. It's sad some Chinese manufacturers always have to resort to copying. They could just build something of their own and as long as it's great people will buy it. They actually have some good and affordable products. Good value.
That is why Chinese are very good in business period.
CHeap pick ups last like that in real work scenarios. To me they are money wasters. Had a ZX grand Tiger. Sold it with only 12000 kilometers and many small details. That my Toyota will never have in 100 000 kilometers. Depretciated more than 57percent in 3 month of use. Not even the dealer wanted back as down payment for a Toyota pick up. They know China offers trash cars. Don't go that way.
Have a tunland 2015 model, 160k on the clock and hasn’t missed a beat.., only thing I have replaced is the tyres… but it comes down to how you treat the engine. Driving heavy vehicles gives one a greater appreciation as to how to treat an engine.. drive a ute like a truck, it will fail. I see so many tradies push their utes way past their capabilities, then wonder why the downfall…
Kayo una.
Looks like dodge and ford combine😂
When Sequioua and RAM1500 produce a child (V9)
other f150copy...
Parang di ka humihinga kapag nagsasalita. 😅
Saksak sa pagmaintain,,,,,after sale problem
I feel sorry for the Japanese and American pick up .
Sino gumawa nang engine nyan?
Aucan engine, German tech naman ngayon... Dati US eh kasi Cummins...
The Chinese really know how to sell to Filipinos. Cheap, and boost their ego.
161HP for a full size truck. That’s a hard pass for me.
