I can only imagine how heart broken she was. I'm glad Gordon was able to help her and the restaurant and turn it around and from what I've read in some other posts, they kept it up and are still doing well. Im pleased momma was able to at least see her legacy thrive before she passed. R.I.P Rose ❤

Thank God that Rose had Trudy to step in while she was in a coma to handle payroll, accounts payable, manage inventory and to basically manage the restaurant while the lazy son barely showed up and when he did, sat there watching TV and doing nothing to actually run the business. I'm sure she wasn't paid any extra for taking on all of these extra tasks but she loved mamma Rose. She is a saint!!!
If it weren’t for Trudy, the restaurant wouldn’t have stayed afloat for longer than a few months. I’m so glad Gordon helped Rose and that the business is still running, even though Rose passed away. It’s always great when these restaurants survive after he visits, and Rose deserved that so much.

That risotto had me laughing. I recently made risotto a few times. I'm sure it wouldn't be up to Gordon's standards, but it at least looked like risotto and not a block of styrofoam

A guaranteed way to give people food poisoning and fail a restaurant inspection is cross contamination. Storing uncovered raw meat, uncovered rotten pork, uncovered rotten seafood, uncovered cooked meat, and uncovered spoiled diary in the same refrigerator with no labels on anything is a major no-no. You almost couldn’t try any harder to get people sick intentionally and the place shut down by inspectors.
Chef Gordon Ramsay really know his position in the cooking industry, I have learnt so much from these shows in cooking, he is brilliant. 5 stars from me, keep up the excellent work.😃 I especially love the revisits to the restaurants to see if they have kept up what they have learnt from Chef Gordon Ramsay.
I'll never understand how so many kitchens don't have food labeled and leave old stuff in their fridge. I am not anything close to a chef but I waited tables and worked in fast food for a while. Labeling food and sticking to acceptable dates was absolute. If your standards aren't as good as fast-food then you're seriously lost lol

Also, as of the end of July 2024, the restaurant has an online presence, with a longer menu (maybe not in the three digits, but close), and a LOT of weird graphical choices and spelling errors for dishes and ingredients, which may be par for the course in the US. And another staple with Italian restaurants in the US, a Mexican chef. Seriously?
Michael here starts as one of the most full of it, least likable managers in the series. His dishonesty and deflection are incredible. I thought it was amusing how he finds the kitchens actions "inexcusable" but not his own behavior. The TV had me at a loss for words.
