13:37 answered my question! You CAN use the tall 4 way wedge as a singe wedge! It will go low enough! Thats what I'm ordering with my 12-22, and a boxwedge- next week !
Good stuff Ben. I know you do this for the enjoyment and so do I but I found putting my loader bucket right at the splitter and dropping the split wood right in the bucket saves my back from all the bending over to pick them up then throwing them in a pile. Less wear and tear means more years in the woodpile
Thanks man. I'm working on it. Really liking this ash. It's making my pike look good. I'm putting it all towards the west end so I can sell some to people
Cant wait till I can get something with a log lift. I get big logs, usually 28" plus sometimes I'll get sticks around 18 inches, sure would be nice to save the back though
Nice load of wood mate .why dont you turn the splitter round and let the splits fall into the pile .then can push em up with your tractor. Saw your back
What a beast of a log spiller🪵. Like a hot knife going Thur butter 👍
Enjoy it🇨🇦
Love that GIANT push plate!👍

Great video Ben. If you do this a few times a week like you said, you will have a very impressive looking wood pile by next fall. Thanks for sharing.

Nice small limb wood for that splitter😀😀
I think we all come out to be our dad in some form or another. For better or worse.
Comforting in a way I guess

Get a tractor first. Can always use it to lift the bigins on the splitter. Then throw or push splits on to bucket to take to pile or stack.
@@mikeadams2339 unfortunately dont have alot of room. I would love to though. That's my other consideration
I love the log lift for sure. It takes a tremendous amount of work out of things. Much easier with one
Sure is pretty firewood your making Ben
Thanks man
I wish to red oak here in NC would split like that
Conveyor would be nice
👌
I’m sorry I cut myself short Compare yours with the Axis ? Thank You
I'm not sure which is better. The axis looks wonderful and very cool. But I like mine and the way it's designed
Call a forester in your area, they’ll know what grows in your area

Have done that a bunch but I get more dirt in the pile that way
Are you selling the wood if not I wouldn't split so small. We have to outdoor stoves and leave it split in 4
Yes. Also sell off of the same pile. I should have a separate pile just for selling I suppose
@@survivingcountrylife7069 if you are willing to do the extra work then go for it.
Are you familiar with the Easton made Axis ?
Good looking stuff, too big to be bundle grade but still very high quality
Do you think if I would have split it smaller it could be called bundle grade ? Thnx man for watching
With that big ol plate, best dang splitter out there! How many more wood deliveries before splitter iz paid for?
About another fifty or sixty. Haha
Save your back !!!!
Is that the standard height of their wedge or did you special order it that way? You’ve probably been asked 100 times already. Looks fantastic!
This is the taller wedge I believe. Maybe they're standard now I'm not sure. But if you order one ask for the taller wedge. It's worth it
Those are some nice rounds where’s your picaroon brother
Ima have to break it out
Why soooo handsome?🥰
Can't help it
Over the years I catch myself thinking I sound like my dad lol
Me too for sure. I miss him
Can't spell Cash without Ash
Haha
