      There was a ton of wood here for sure. It was hard to keep up with the cutter as far as hauling away. I couldn't actually

    Hey Ben! If you keep tackling jobs like that you will need a chipper. Keep up the good work!

      It would have come in handy. I'd have to be a lot buisier than I am to justify that thou I think. A bigger huge dump trailer would be nice but they cost a fortune

    Nice job Ben. Last fall I helped a friend on mine cut up a maple that had a 48” base. That tree was massive. Lots of wood in it to say the least. Have a great day.

    Hi Ben!!😀😀
    Those big maples are a pain in the butt to get bucked up. Your saw must be cutting perfectly straight in order to get the cuts to meet.
    I cut one like that one years ago that had 25 face cords in it. Had to noodle most of the large blocks because they were just too big to handle.
    Take care my friend!!😀😀

      I was pulling it to dig for a water line a couple weeks ago and the pickup tire threw a rock and broke it out. Sucks. The dump trailer is 14 foot if I remember right

    That bobcat looks like a big help. Since you own a tractor and an excavator, what would you say is the biggest asset for firewood?

    • @survivingcountrylife7069
      @survivingcountrylife7069  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any item with a grapple. Skidloader with a good grapple would be a big asset too
