It would have come in handy. I'd have to be a lot buisier than I am to justify that thou I think. A bigger huge dump trailer would be nice but they cost a fortune
Nice job Ben. Last fall I helped a friend on mine cut up a maple that had a 48” base. That tree was massive. Lots of wood in it to say the least. Have a great day.
Hi Ben!!😀😀 Those big maples are a pain in the butt to get bucked up. Your saw must be cutting perfectly straight in order to get the cuts to meet. I cut one like that one years ago that had 25 face cords in it. Had to noodle most of the large blocks because they were just too big to handle. Take care my friend!!😀😀 Logger Al
It don't always work out the way we want but you kept at it brother and got it done keep it up hope all is well with the wife and new kid as well brother
I was pulling it to dig for a water line a couple weeks ago and the pickup tire threw a rock and broke it out. Sucks. The dump trailer is 14 foot if I remember right
Ben, Nice video, only thing I would like to seen done is your insurance your finish cut was on the downhill side use the excavator to hold the piece and finish on the up hill side. Great video tho
Missing your video. I am a firewood sales starter.
Your equipment met it’s match !
Yes it did for sure. Had to chop that one up better
That thing is a freaking BEAST FROM CIVIL WAR days!!! There is a lot of limb wood in those branches for you to harvest!!
For sure !!!
That was quite a job there. You did a good job.
Thanks Myron. I appreciate it
Definitely a "more work than worth" but you took up the challenge and got after it.
Thanks for posting and have a good weekend Ben 😁👍
It sure was but got paid to take the tree down so it worked out
Holy moly, that’s a biggun’........
That was a monster. One little bite at a time. Big job but I'm sure you got it done. A lot of work.
I cleaned up a blowdown just like that last year.
Took me a little over 3 days.
There was a ton of wood here for sure. It was hard to keep up with the cutter as far as hauling away. I couldn't actually
That tree was huge, nice job getting it done, keep safe my friend
Channeling Brody from Jaws ... Think we’re gunna need a bigger saw ! Great job Ben , nice firewood to boot .
Haha. Thanks gus. I wish I had a 661 for that part. But probably didn't really need it
That’s what I’m saving for , a 661 !
Those big maples are a whole lot of brush!!! But good firewood if you can get it
There was a ton of brush for sure
That's a lot of tree!! You did a great job. Awesome!
Thanks man. It was 5 or 6 dump trailers full of stuff
I like that machine a lot. It'll get some work done.
It's pretty good. Sometimes I miss my skid loader but this works pretty good
Hey Ben! If you keep tackling jobs like that you will need a chipper. Keep up the good work!
It would have come in handy. I'd have to be a lot buisier than I am to justify that thou I think. A bigger huge dump trailer would be nice but they cost a fortune
That’s a biggin’ Ben , nice vid. Good job your tackling there. Have a great weekend.

Hey Ben I haven't stopped in in a little while thats a huge maple that's gonna make a bunch of firewood
It don't always work out the way we want but you kept at it brother and got it done keep it up hope all is well with the wife and new kid as well brother
Thanks man. It went OK. I just got to be careful not to slam my stuff around too much. Haha
That’s a lot of work there, did a similar tree at my dads church. Keep up the great videos and stay safe.
Thanks man
That is a huge yard maple. 100yrs old, l bet.
How long is you dump trailer and what happened to the rear window in the mini
I was pulling it to dig for a water line a couple weeks ago and the pickup tire threw a rock and broke it out. Sucks. The dump trailer is 14 foot if I remember right
@@survivingcountrylife7069 darn it and thanks and keep up the great work
Nice job. Sometimes when your equipment is closed to being maxed out, you need to use some ingenuity. Good work.
Just got to chop it up. Haha
Ben,

Thanks man
Wonder if the log lift can Handel those!!!
I doubt it. Too dangerous. If a guy noodle them u could thou I bet
Beware of "thingamabobbers". I hope your equipment survives to the end of the year... Yee Haw...
we iss ya ill pray for you hope you give us a update god bless
That bobcat looks like a big help. Since you own a tractor and an excavator, what would you say is the biggest asset for firewood?
Any item with a grapple. Skidloader with a good grapple would be a big asset too
Ben what happened? I haven’t seen or heard from you for months now. Hope everything is good with you. I miss your videos.
👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝
That’s just too big for me to mess with for firewood
I agree. Got paid to cut the tree down
