ok, so in my case it was the rectifier! tried everything else. Changed the coil, changed the battery, nothing worked. Rectifier was burnt and it wasnt charging the battery fully.
Sounds like your clutch is still engaged when you pull the lever in, you might have air between the master cylinder and the slave cylinder of the clutch line, Or like the first guy said, your kickstand switch might be faulty. I bypassed mine because I don’t want to have to worry about something keeping me safe and fucking me at the same time
Just glue them back . I did and it works fine .
This should of been a recall by Suzuki .

That's a rooted starter.Quality not the best.
