    From my personal experience generally if a bike is harder to start when the engine is hot (but cranking normal), it means that the valve clearances need to be adjusted.

    Thank you for the video. Very helpful. Question: I have a 2004 AR230 and began getting fuel in the Port engine exhaust. Do you believe this is likely the ECU? Or should I start there and swap the ECU from one engine to the other before going through pulling the injectors?

    • @chicocop4774
      @chicocop4774 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can try removing the spark plugs and starting rhe engine to see witch injectors are dumping fuel then swapping the locations of the fuel injectors. If the same locations are dumping fuel it’s rhe ECU if the problems change location it’s the injectors

    2000 GSXR600 with 750FI swap. I have the same issue. disassembled the started today, everything looked good so I cleaned it, greased it and reassembled it. cold start works like a charm, however warm start it just is not able to crank the engine fast enought and it gets worse with every turn. I know that the engine was ran once in a while by previous owners and wasn't ridden alot. so, I should take off the panel and check for the pin socket wear and in case it's gummed, just clean it with brake cleaner and reassemble?

    The problem is your air inlet temp sensor. It gets hot when driving slow couse it’s above your engine. Making a low fuel air mixture. Creating more heat. You have to move the sensor to cooler position or put some isolation around it.

      also you should get the appropriate driver for your LEDs or you will have issue with the fans and light down the road, cyclopsadventure has the best kits for the hayabusa IMHO, you are missing a critical component in the driver.. do not use car LEDs ffs just cuz they're cheaper.. get the right set up so you don't have problems some place its pitch dark and you have to ride... if you do throw a few of those hardhat lights they have at autozone the heavy duty 3000 lumen ones, keep it int he trunk if your lights go out you can strap two to your helmet and get home

    For any kind of starter issues, everything has always pointed down to the starter clutch area. When somebody says your starter clutch is bad, don’t just go for that. This guy is in the right place, check the holes where the idler gear pin sits into on the bike side and on the outer cover side. If they are sloppy at all, it allows the gear to bend and bind when it’s trying to turn over. I went through a grueling eight or nine months of narrowing everything down to just that problem. $125 of all used parts which were off of a new motor from a junkyard solve my issue. No more hard starts or gear binding. Have fun with it and good luck guys. Definitely check yours, it’s a simple process, Keep the bolts in order from where they come out because some are longer and some are shorter. It will save you some time

      I just wanted to reiterate that I was almost ready to go for a new wiring harness, the only thing I didn’t check was the idler gear or after etc. They have wave washes with them also they keep them specifically in place. Please like and share, I don’t want any kind of fame for this but I do want to help everybody out because this is such a common problem and unless people hear what I have to say, they’re going to go through all the shit I went through and waste a lot of money and time. One good thing came out of it, I know a lot more about the bike and everything else I replaced is brand new lol. Let me know how you guys do
