I have the default squiggly font on my very old phone, it was a small phone, and I have bad reading vision, so having that font on the small phone actually made it easier on my eyes to read because it wasn't sharp or super contrasting.
So, there's always a reason. They can look very raunchy, yes, but it can actually help lots of people read better. Or just be more compelling for kids or people with bad attention
As someone who is currently in design school, my graphic design friend showed me the worst thing I've ever seen. A find that is a combination of comic sans and papyrus.
got clickbaited by the "flawless legs" in the thumbnail smh. i did get like number 400 on this video tho. super cathartic to see it go from 399 to 400 🥴
I do own a couple of them actually, they are AMAZING because they look like fancy stockings but keep your legs warm on cold snowy winter days. They are like 5€ on Aliexpress.
@@katharinamuller3850 yes! I got a skin coloured basic one. I doesn't really match my skin colour lol but I only use it to layer my usual tights on top. Its so darn handy I love them
For the train one, while he was reading the title I was thinking "Oh yeh, Dutch trains have weird-ass designs too" and then it showed a pic of a Dutch train so anyway I'm looking to emigrate to somewhere with better trains
The focal depth and skin filter combo on this is so jarring it’s like I’m watching a Pixar animation kinda . . . Uncanny valley omg or like the snapchat baby filter
I was laughing all the way throughout the video, but for some reason “think bog” got me
2:55 ah yes, I want my toilet to look USED and DISGUSTING
Thing about Comic Sans is that it was originally intended for use in an already horrible product - namely Microsoft Bob. The font designer felt that Times New Roman looked too formal for Bob.
Also, regarding the whole "lowercase L, uppercase I" thing... This is one reason that I like typefaces like Pluto Sans (as long as we're in sans serif fonts) -- the lowercase L is distinct by virtue of the little curl/hook at the bottom.
There used to be an ad where I live for a graphic design degree that said graphic design is my passion and it had copied and pasted the same dog over and over again on the billboard
I just like the way he says "Soap" 🤷🏽
14:56 I have seen this mug before and I just realised it's supposed to say heroes! XD
1:02 That's why I use serif fonts whenever I can instead of sans-serif ones. Sadly, I can't do it on Android.
Apple really went and made a ✨boneless mouse✨
