I'm still hanging in there! This is just a little update on how I'm currently doing. I hope to have a little more positive news in the future. And hopefully get back to making videos a little more cheery, like how there's no God and everything's meaningless hahahahaha.

Hang in there! The fact that you're being open about this will definitely help other people. Good luck!

Great to hear from you Joe! I'm sad to know that you are going through this. I have deep respect for you for talking about your mental health in your video. I think that you can help many people including yourself. : ) I can totally relate to the things you've said. I've never experienced panic attacks but have experienced anxiety and depression. Oh, and I love your rambling. Ramble on! Thanks for letting us know about the Wendy's Chili Copycat recipe. I've always wanted to try that. Yes, post more Vids! Till next time...Your friends K & L

    Here's something that helped me:
When we see a negative stimulus, a reaction is produced in our bodies.
You know what it feels like. Tenseness in your chest, hard to breathe, all that.
And THEN we apply an emotion to that physical sensation.
Emotion does not cause the tightness. We sense the tightness, and we attach an emotion to it.
The sensations are 'external' to our minds. They are inflicted upon us, for lack of a better term.
But we are the ones who attach the emotion.
And once you are aware of that, you can learn to disconnect the emotional part from the feeling.
You can't not feel the tension in your body.
But you can not be bothered by it.

    Step one: stay alive.
    Everything else comes after.
    All the best, yeah?

hm, is to "fight" these things not a way to seperate it from oneself? to deny that it is infact a part of ourself? i wonder why we may do this

You might have to elaborate. I'm sorry, I don't think I quite follow.

@@TheRebelsAdvocate isnt to fight against it to deny it is a part of us? and doesnt denying it mean we cant come to terms with it transform
