Hi, I didn't see a plastic shrowd or cowl for the radiator to channel the air to the fan, is that normally missing on TD5s, as it is on mine, and I was wondering whether that's normal? thanks

Hey, I would guess it's more normal that it's there. The top plastic over the radiator has the cawl form on it and also act as a protector. You can see mine here in this video: th-cam.com/video/AzM6chgc2Fo/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=LandRoverDrive

This was clearly loose already. Doesn’t really help when the coupling is super tight and just spins on the belt….

It’s been of before so not that tight. I have used the special “thin” spanner twice and made my own tool once with just two 12cm holed plates bolted together and to the pulley wheel. The triangle the plates make will stop on the crank wheel and the it’s easy to get it of with a bit of force. But it have never been super tight on mine so maybe lucky. 😊
