Drifter corpses do disappear after short time during the storm, but killing them and harvesting before they vanish is the best way of farming temporal gears, because high level drifters drop them more often (still very rare loot tho, except from double-headed drifters that, again, spawn only during the storm).
Thank you for the advice. Will have to try and remember that for the next storm. I don't want to make the "murder hole" I've seen in a few videos, rather do it less "efficiently" but in my opinion more fun.
So far I'm enjoying it. It might be a while before I jump into the "lore" of the game, but getting the survival part figured out should be fun. It's a good sign when I am "over recording". I almost have ep 4 done already.
