- It may not be absolutely perfect, but the Hisense U8K is probably the best kept secret in TV for 2023. Sure, enthusiasts are in on it, but if the average consumer catches wind how good this TV is for the price, Hisense won’t be able to make them fast enough.

Hey, Caleb. Greetings from Houston. I currently have a Samsung 85' QN90A. I want something bigger and better for a dark contro room. I love OLED, but the G4 83' or 98' are too expensive. The Hisense 100' U8K is back to $3,000, and the 98' Sony X90L went down to $5,000. Is it worth the $2,000 difference? I love my 77 Sony OLED X80J, so I know what Sony brings to the table in regards to processing and upscaling low content, but $2,000 is a lot. What would you recommend for size and price at these sizes ( 98-100). I don't do any gaming. I Just do streaming, OTA, and 4k UHD blu-ray movies. Thanks for your input.
Hi, which one would you choose between u8k and u7n?

Was not expecting a Charlie Brown Teacher gag in my TV review but I'm here for it.
I could certainly be here for more of it tbh
I just bought this TV and it's absolutely beautiful I'm very picky and never thought I would own a hisense TV but I looked at this review and took a gamble... And it did not disappoint I mean wow!!!!! I've owned Samsung, Sony, but this TV stands tall with with the best of them. This TV is absolutely beautiful. Please go pick this TV up right now!!!!! You will not be disappointed. It's that good I can't get over it. Absolutely blows my mind of how this TV look with miner to no adjustments. It's stunning and the price you can't go wrong.
Do you have a link to where you purchased it? Please.
Hisense U8K 75 inch is a GREAT TV with a 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓 lifespan. Usually at about 10 months of ownership the TV will start having glitches that will increase over time. At about the 13-15 month mark is when the screen will go black or show lines. I have owned THREE of them (2 75inch U8K and 1 65inch U7k). Now Im back to LG. Hisense customer support is non existent
Caleb, Thanks for discussing upscaling. Really helps those of us on the fence deciding between QM8 & U8K
Just watched the original U8K review minutes ago! Great timing!!!
Watching this on my H9G I picked up a couple years ago after you reviewed it. Definitely looking to get the U8K next month for my new house!
Thanks for the introduction of Hisense U8K 65". Awesome colours.
When is the video on the comparison between this and the QM8 coming out? The ultimate video would be those two plus the X93L
lol that golf dad quip with the trombone response got you a sub from me. Well played sir 😆
Great review Caleb of what turns out to be an absolutely fantastic TV definitely on my list now thanks
Great review caleb as always🎉. Anyway, I see you own a pair of polk R600 in the background. I'm just curious if you would mind doing a review of them. Thanks
Excellent review Caleb... Can't wait to see the comparison video. Thank you
Great review Caleb, As Always!! Have you heard anything about when the 85" and the 100" versions of the U8K will release? Hisense website shows sizes from 55 to 100 at the bottom of the U8K page; but at the top only says coming soon for the 55" to 75" (while those sizes are already available). Are we talking super late release for the 85" and 100" this year? Thanks!
Great video just the right amount of numbers and details thanks for the time you put in on the content and yes the Head to Head with the QM8 will be greatly anticipated
Love the review, when you do the comparison video, could you check how it works together with Sonos soundbars?
im looking forward to the comparison, it will make my decision on my next TV.
Absolutely geeking out about your content. Keep it up.
Great review! I currently have a LG - 86" Class NanoCell 90 Series LED 4K UHD in my dedicated home theater, I really like it. I want to go bigger (no projector, thanks, I can't take the noise) and I was thinking about the Hisense 100" U8K. What do you think? Would it be a big jump in picture quality? Thanks in advance!
Caleb thanks for the video, love the review. Cant wait for the U7K review!! Just wondering if you know any differences from the US version and the AU (Australian) version “U8KAU”
Finally, cant wait for this review.
Thx for adding this! Could you plz always add off axis color accuracy to your reviews? If you have to be at exactly perpendicular to the screen surface, that doesn't cover most people's viewing angle. The U8H is notorious for bad off axis accuracy and is a drag and frustrating that nobody was reporting on that in any review I saw.
Hey good job on the the review for the u8k 👏👍 do you know if there going to have a 85 inch?I heard that they are …but I don’t know? Thanks
I am Samsung and Sony fan but this tv is really good, great video, thanks for showing the color checker with calman✌️
super great man/i ordered one/cool man/i will keep watching /thanks much
Hi Caleb, great review, but you forgot to test the color gamut of DCI-P3 and BT-2020 😢
Good day Caleb, thanks for all of the detailed reviews that you conduct and provide. My 80yr old mom is wanting and new TV. We are looking at the 55” size. She does not stream, has a cable box won’t budge from it. Looking at the mini LED status and price range. What would be your recommendation for this cable box application. Want to get her a good TV, but not QLED $$$.
Kinda sounds like the Hisense is better. I chose the Hisense 75 inch U8k because of the better upscaling capabilities. We like watching movies from the 80's and 90's along with the new stuff.
Nice video keep up the good work fella
Have you experienced any glitching on your U8K when scrolling through menus, or when commercials cut into TH-cam videos? My screen looks like it has cloudy areas when the screen goes blank on those glitches, but it doesn't seem to affect the picture when watching shows/videos.
Waiting on the comparison video for sure. This should be a very close battle.
Yes, please. We are very interested on the comparison.
Can you give us a calibration setting for SDR TV shows on cable for the Hisense U8K Caleb?
I just bought this TV in the 55 inch, thanks for the great video, along with the Bose Soundbar 600. I am wondering if you provide advice on how to set up both of these items with Apple TV (3rd Generation).
U8K 55 - HDMI 3 - Enhanced HDMI (designated for eARC)
HDMI 4 - Enhanced HDMI
Bose Soundbar 600 - Only 1 HDMI port and its eARC supported.
Right now I have it setup like this and was wondering if this is correct?
Apple TV -> HDMI 4
Bose soundbar 600 -> HDMI 3 (eARC)
I typically watch TV on HDMI 4 to use Apple TV and was wondering if this the right way to set this up and get the most out of the soundbar and TV. To me, something seems off, but not exactly sure.
Caleb, love your reviews. The 75 inch is an ADS PRO panel and the smaller sizes are VA. PLEASE review the 75 inch and suggest settings. This is needed.
Yes, Caleb, please comment/review on the 75 inch version
Do you know if this holds true for the UK7?
Yes measurements are sorely needed on the 75" to see if it can come even close on contrast and black level to the VA panel. If not then it kills the entire premise of this TV sadly
Yesssss is the 75" a good buy or not?
I bought the 75 inch and am absolutely blown away by the performance of the ADS Pro panel. I actually prefer the image to that of my Samsung QN90A which is a VA panel TV. I would like to see actual comparison to the U8K VA Panel lineup.
I remember in either your U8H review or one of your comparison videos about it you mentioned the H had some motion artifacts/ghosting or something like that. Is that still present on the U8K?
what about sound quality? please give us a conclusion on it. thank you
Excellent review, I'm really interested in what you think of the Hisense u7k! I hope you are reviewing it soon.
Hows the refresh rate on this? Ive had ghosting issues on my current tv when it comes to motion, even worse in darker scenes.
Hi Caleb. I love your reviews (and laugh when I see the blocked out **** logo)! I hope that you can add the Sony X93L and maybe the X90L to the mix when you compare the U8K and QM8. I'm in the market for a new TV and these are at the top of my list considering performance and budget. Motion, upscaling and low bit rate handling are as important to me as brightness. The S90C may be in the mix too but only if the deals get very good by Black Friday. Thanks for all the great info, I really appreciate it and look forward to the upcoming comparisons!
Absolutely U8K or QM8. U can save that MOney for Sony , get a 4-5 extra plan . So if they break down like 3rd 4th 5th year they run out of panels to swab, or parts to fix. Hey just give u a brand new version of Flagship panel. :):) 😊 i mean Bestbuy.
This channel is becoming my go to place for TV reviews, super in depth and also excellent at explaining those somewhat subjective issues or things that matter but don't really matter that much.
Caleb do you have a recommended low budget TV for watching sports outdoors?
OUT DOOR??? What that TV gets like burned n melt? Lol 😅
If you had a choice between uled and oled. And price wasnt a problem. What would you get?
Great video. I have a 65" LG SM8100AUA, which I think was manufactured in the late Medieval period. Most of the content we watch is streamed from TH-cam TV, TH-cam Premium, or PBS. I can't find an answer for one question. Will we see a substantial difference between our ancient LG and the U8K considereing the content we watch?
Thanks
10X substantial. I had an Ancient diosore age flat screen HD LED $4000 tv too. Made in Japan . When d 2 of them finally died…i was helpless.
Hisense was like BROKE our TV perception of “what’s premium”. My Husband ran got 2nd panel double d budget 1 yr later. They are VERY premium. 😊 i mean their flagship Android/google panel.
Often ppl mistake them with the --low end ROKU tv that they sell in Walmart. ROKU is their cheap ass line. Their premium panels are only sold maybe Bestbuy/Costco/Amazon. ..very few places.
Did you notice any audio sync issues with the Arc/eArc? I have a U7G that would not play nice with a TCL Dolby Atmos soundbar. I returned that soundbar and got a 5.1 soundbar and used an optical cable. (yes, I saw your rant about this a few days ago).
HI Caleb, is this TV as good as an OLED , say LG C3 what would you prefer in your living room ? the bright one, or the dark one ? ;-)
Finally! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I wonder if the 1,000 nits mastering vs the 2,000 nits set - does the dynamic tone mapping button enhance the presentation, changes it or makes it worse?
So is Hisense ever going to release the 85” of the U8K? Should I just get the TCL QM8 in 85”? Just sucks waiting 7months for its release then bam they don’t release it after all🤦🏻♂️
Does the tv show a lot of Banding on white colored content or streaming? Also blue, green, cyan have always been an issue with hisence.
I just bought a Hisense UK Google TV and I have my cinema 6 Klipsch soundbar connected to it. Apparently I have to enable CEC on the TV in order for the soundbar to stay connected all the time, I have no idea how to go about enabling CEC on the TV set up my soundbar stays connected. Can you help me with this.
Great review Caleb! Anyone that gets out a Spectro baselined i1display pro has my vote. We don't get the Qm8 miniled in Australia yet(9 series here I believe).
The TCL Miniled version we do get for now has some backlight issues when viewing 2.35 to 1 content that Vincent from HDTV test has recently pointed out.
Would you say that when viewing 2.35:1 content on this Hisense that the black bars are inky black at all times or also a bit affected by the backlight behaviour behind the displayed content? (As in grey out sometimes ). Cheers. Steve.
I love the reviews and the new tech coming out when you review it. The only sad thing is you mention they have a subwoofer built in, yet we never hear a peep about the sound quality. Even just one minute of how it sounds would be a blessing to me and possibly others when thinking of a purchase. Keep up the good work!
Okay since I HAVE HAVE HAVE 2 panels of Hisense VA…it’s INSANE. Their TV quality is prob d BEST I have come cross. (I had a $3000 made in japan panel before ). Yeah and after i got my Hisense 55” 65” VA panels. I went to Bestbuy to test tv sound bar. I tried the $300 BOSE small sound bar sounded like crap. I had to go up to like $800 large sound bars to Beat it. Cuz in between there not much mid tier sound bars, n just no point to even do to Just match.
Yeah…so my proper feed back since i own 2 Hisense TVs. ($2400 in combine 2 panels). They are BEST for theater experience. Their sound is Fluid , loud punch but all sorts of smooth texture in it. I play a LOT OF TH-cam music, so when it gets loud, d tv does NOT vibrate d ROOM or annoying my chest like low end cheap tv/speakers do. 😮 cheaper TVs. Will have sappy sounds. Hisense flagship panels are like loud butter fluid but clear. .
I read the online review and they mentioned the sound. That was enough to sell me on it. I picked up the 65inch and it's the best sounding flat panel TV I've heard. Its better than any budget soundbar. The highs get rounded off at high volumes and the (actual) bass is tight. I thought flat panels would never sound good.
@@MrDanofthewestdo u have any backlight bleeding? I saw a pic of a customer on bestbuy showing backlight bleeding and thats why i returned an lg about 2 weeks ago 😖
@@larrymtz83 I can't say I know what to look for in that regard.
Thanks Caleb. Awesome TV!
Ok you've convinced me to get this TV and give Hisense a chance. In a world dominated by Samsung and LG, it's nice to see that a smaller, lesser known brand can outperform them at a lower price. Thanks for your awesome and detailed review on both this and the U7K
I have a Sony x r-65x850f is it time to upgrade to this u8k
Just bought this from BB and love it!
If im playing games sgould i set in game audio settings to surround sound or tv speakers or sound bar? Surround sound settings are usually 5.1 or 7.1 i know this tv is 2.1.2 so would that technically be sterero?
Would you recommend this TV for a Photo Club to use in competition judging of images from amazing photographers? We would initially be judging 4k jpeg images and will need proper colors, contrast sharpness without muddy halos. Does this TV need professional calibration? We are on a budget of less than $1800 nd would get a 75 or 85 inch unit for 20-30 people to view
Is the power consumption so much higher than a OLED like LG OLED evo C3?
Would you say this is better than last years 6 series r655?
I think it is safe to say they “know who you are”. And by contacting them on an issue, it feels like it either got calibrated or a golden sample was handpicked. I think the pre-calibration picture accuracy tests don’t mean much unless the sample is actually from the retail.
Great info - question - today for the same $750.00 you can buy a 55" U8K or a 65" U75K - what is the better choice??
Sony 65" Class - A80CK Series - 4K UHD OLED vs U8K? What is the better tv? Thanks
I’m looking to buy a 55’’- 60” solely for streaming skyq & fire cube. Room isn’t brightest, not super dull. Price range £800 tops. Any recommendations plz.
I've been looking at both the U8K AND U7K, 65". Used for streaming, OTA and 4K blu-ray. I don't do any gaming and wouldn't be hooking up any external audio components. I know the U8K is a step up in many respects, including its sound, but for the viewing I do, is it worth the extra $$$, or is the U7K perfectly compatible for those needs? Thank you!
Get the u7. I have it. And the price is the best too
What did you end up doing? I would go U7k.
Great review!
Please do a head to head with the TCL QM8
How’s the gray uniformity in the UK8? I want to avoid DSE in my next tv.
I can do a 20 point calibration on my vizio, and a pretty accurate 2 point on my LG with a CR100 or a PR700. I find that I can get my LG fairly close to a familiar color gamut to a BVM-x300. Can you do a review on that?
What is the number of dimming zones on the U7K and on the U8K?
Would you go for the TCL 98S550G or the Hisense U8K
Very informative review! TV looks good. Will be interested in the comparison with the QM8 65 Inch.
TCL QM8 65" has 1080 diming zones compared to 75" with 1920 diming zones. That's a 75% increase w.r.t its 33% size increase.
If you could get the lg oled c2 at the same price, would you go for the Oled or this Hisense? Please advice!!
What did you do? If I had the proper set up for OLED, I would get the LG.
Please help me understand of the 100 inch performs the exact same?
Picked up the 55" model this week. It really looks great right out of the box. I'm shocked at how good HD content looks..I have been using my Roku HD, and everything is upscaling very well. I'm using Theater Day and Theater Night modes. Theater Night is good at minimizing the soap opera effect , while still giving you all the detail.
Caleb, thank you very much for an insightful review of the U8K. Reviews tracking Hisense's progress were about all I had to go on when considering purchasing a 85UX sight unseen (but then again, there were no X95L's available to see either). I wanted to mention that like you, I also tried switching to Warm2, but found it presented a very cool image - and the difference was not subtle. Overall I've been very pleased my purchase. The images are so detailed that I think that micro contrast might be the best of any LED set. Add to that a large dynamic range with inky blacks and a strong 3D aspect. Despite the limited availability, I hope that someday you will be able to review this advanced tech. Thanks again.
This TV has terrible blacks and not inky at all. They only show you 4k demo's and gaming so the TV appears to be better than it is. I recently purchased this TV and then returned it immediately because of how bad it is.. nothing about it was good.
@@Ozjoker420. Are we talking about the same model ? The 85UX has over 5,000 dimming zones and a 150,000:1 contrast ratio. Even outer space scenes are thrilling to this former OLED G series owner. As far as I know it only comes in 85 inches. Not questioning your experience, it just doesn't align with what I've been seeing.
@@chromamaster6147 is colour and brightness the only selling point to mini led? I want smooth pictures etc not just better colour and brightness and this hisense is only ok. Give me sony A80L oled any day over mini led.
@@chromamaster6147 my father inlaws Panasonic 65 inch oled is now 3 to 4 years old now and is still one of the best tv's as far as the picture quality and performance goes I've seen. I compare everything to this Panasonic because it's a damn good tv.
@@chromamaster6147 so if it doesn't compare to a TV that's a few years old why bother?
When’s the 85” coming out?
Personally Caleb, I can't wait for the head to head comparison. Both these TVs are definitely making a mark for being budget TVs. Pretty soon if the three big brands don't start stepping up their game, their LED TVs are going to die out.. if they could just nail the processing, I really think Hisense and TCL will take the top spot pretty soon.
TCL is far behind Hisense in image processing. Hisense is the bigger threat. Even so, I much prefer Sony and Samsung to Hisense for various reasons (mostly image processing).
The issue that I run into with both Hisense and TCL is that I see how many of their TVs come back to the store. The open box section at Best Buy typically has a ton of "cheap" TVs. Samsung isn't as well represented now that the TU7000 is gone, but Hisense and TCL are.
I have heard (although no personal hands on experience with either the TCL or the Hisense) that the picture quality is better on the TCL but the image processing is better on the Hisense. Hopefully that will be covered in Caleb’s comparison video!
@@randallsmith2521 I hear you I'm looking into buying a Sony again to have the best of both worlds 😂...
@@LeezahB It is difficult to compare the TVs in the show room as they are set to VIVID mode, which is wildly inaccurate. Hisense's vivid mode is so much less accurate than TCL's. Based on that alone I prefer TCL.
I'm also curious about the OS. From what I'm seeing, it looks like both brands are sticking with GoogleTV for their higher end TVs. That makes sense as GoogleTV typically allows for more control.
@@movie_av_impulse I may end up buying a Hisense TV for the living room in my new house due to the brightness. The thing is, most of what is watched there is news, cooking shows, and true crime shows. Movie watching takes place elsewhere, and that is where my Sony TV will be.
I really want to see a head to head review. I'm thinking of upgrading my 10 year old Visio 1080p and will probably choose between these two.
Wow, that's going to be a treat!
Hi Caleb, thanks for this review!
Do you have any information if the lineup will be the same in europe or more specifically in germany? Or will these TVs again have similar names but will be complete different models like with the TCLs?
Great review as always. Would like to know if Digital Trends does long term reviews? Longevity for this brand is a concern for me although I have bought high end Samsungs in the past that have failed after 3 or 4 years…
That's why I don't buy Samsung anymore
Samsung
I've got a 75 inch sony Z9D. Is it worth replacing it with the U8K??
Would you recommend a OLED or a Sony X95K?
We have the u8k coming out soon in Australia but our model has a sound bar at the bottom of the TV would this be the same TV just with a sound bar or a different TV with the same model number?
Yes. LOOK UP the U8KQ.. U prob has the UK model. I hv seen the UK model with the sound bar hanging under. SOOOO NICE. D pic is utter black, bright vibrant . There some Italian guy showing off his EU version of U8K. It sounds like d one u have. It’s going to be a VA panel. MOST ppl in EU dont know that Hisense have BETTER sounds than MOST TVs. Since they are NOT as recognized for its UPGRADED SOUNDS like they already do in USA. They prob upgraded their Design in EU to make ppl aware that they have WAY better sound, like 8 speakers …otherwise ppl will OVER look that. I would.
I own 2 Hisense. D MOST amazing sound, fluid/glossy,immersive sound. A lot of cheaper TVs just Buzzing. The EU n AUS model i assume trying to make more statement, to make it elite, 😊but same panel same technology . :)
Is there a gaming settings y’all recommend
Thanks for mentioning off angle performance! Lots of reviewers don’t, but it’s especially important for a TV that many of us are going to get specifically for it’s brightroom sports performance
I have read that the off angle doesn't affect the 75 inch because of the different panel used, but you lose some of the blacks. I am fine with that, I am sure the black levels are much better on the 75 inch u8k that I just ordered compared to my bought in 2018, made in 2017 Sony.
i just got 55 inch u8k and the viewing angle is horrible. at 6 feet, at the recommended 40% field of view recommended by THX, I don't like the viewing angle and VRR with HDR does not work. Contacting support. Not sure if I got a bad unit. THe viewing ange straight on is bad!
Good news is The motion in games is 10x better without any ghosting compared to my recently returned TCL Q7.
@@FrostyBud777 I have the exact same TV and yeah I agree that the viewing angle is terrible. It’s starts skewing pretty bad around just 30 degrees. In retrospect I wish I’d sprung for either the X93L or an A75L.
The U8K is a fantastic TV for watching movies straight on, but I have a wide viewing setup so it’s not the best for watching sports with more than 3-4 guests.
@@Derek.Mitchell I tried the TCL q7, TERRIBLE inverse ghosting. Returned yesterday. It was perfect in EVERY OTHE WAY. but couldn't live with inverse ghosting. I dont mind normal ghosting /motion blure but inverse ghosting causes me eye damage and angry feelings. I told tcl support they need to let users change the over drive setitngs. Becuase of inverse ghosting, The TCL VRR is worthless.
I just tried all day to get the Hisens u8k good but couldnt, it is shit. AMD freesync premium is marketed but it doesnt even work. HDR turns off when VRR is turned on, and when you turn VRR off, tv blacks out on and off till it's restarted, total trash
NOW I AM DONE! BOTH 400 AND 600 DOLALR TVS THE VRR "HIGH REFRESH RATE" LOOKS LIKE SHIT OR BAD VEIWING ANGLE.
I am going to get the 550 dollar LG 48inch OLED at best buy for 550 dollars, I am giving up 120/144 hz and VRR but like i siad, both are total shit and worthless.
I thought about it all day and I would rather Play at 60 fps with BEAUTIFUL OLED, EXTREMELY FAST REPSONSE TIMES DUE TO OLED PANEL, and PERFECT viewing angle due to oled than play with horrible ashed out sides due to poor viewing angle or severe inverse ghosting.
I am DONE!!!! Mom said I should get an oled like here but wanted to get a tv with VRR and 120/144 hz but forget it. Both tv's from both companies are total trash . The TCL was perfect for watcing tv and 10x better than the crappy hisense u8k viewing angle. RTINGs .com is smoking some extremely phsyctoci stuff. THey are so wrong in many ways I have found. Talking about image accuracy but it looks like shit.
I wanted to get a cheap tv for like 200-250 for a 55in to watch movies but when I hooked up my dad's old 55 inch to my pc, I knew I could never go back to a 32 inch monitor again. The larger size is INFINITELY more immersive. I feel like i have never watched a movie or played a game before , and only started once I played on a 55 inch. I am giving up some size for a 48 inch oled and losing the VRR high refresh rate, but gaining perfect oled frames at 60 fps.
I would rather have quality over quantity it seems. Much better to game ultra settings, 4K 60 fps , with PERFECT responds times, color, blacks and viewing angle, than high settings, fsr3 frame gen, and horrible viewing angles and inverse ghosting. Ty for replying, your comment sealed the deal. I will go get the LG a2 oled on sale at best buy for 550 tomorrow.
@@Derek.Mitchell I am getting the 48 in A2 LG Oled today and taking it back. Rather have SUPER QUALITY 60 PERFECT FRAMES a second vs the others. TY SO MUCH for your comment it helped me alot to decide.
That thumbnail though! Lol.
Interested to see if you do that side comparison with the TCL Q7 series as well. My tiny apartment living room space doesn't comfortably accomodate anything larger than a 55", plus the sale price on the Q7 55" was too good to pass up on my limited budget. So far I'm really impressed with what it offers for a QLED without mini-LED.
The TCL Q7 is a great budget tv...It does alot of things well. It doesn't get that bright but does have a great picture after calibration. Gaming its picture is great with good highlights and colors...If Calibrated you will love this TV for its price to performance.
the dragon is coming.....
@@petedetraglia4776how do you calibrate? just change TV settings through the menus?
The TCL QM8 would be the equivalent of the Hisense U8K I would think. The Hisense U7K would be a better comparison versus the TCL Q7.
How much is it to get calibrated? Would the cost negate the savings of the Q7 compared to the U8k?@@petedetraglia4776
Top review,regarts from the Netherlands.
Wouldn't the white balance naturally be different between profiles because a shift in grey scale is how you achieve different colours gradients?
I thought the U8K was going to be available in an 85" model as well, Neither Bestbuy or Amazon offer it, is it going to be available at some point?
Is it the same as the u88k from Canada that has 1 year warranty not 2 year?
Great review of an impressive TV. I wish I was in the market for one. Maybe next year. Keep it up Caleb, you are rockin it.
Can someone explain the whole eARC being on HDMI 2.1 and not being on it. Looking to get a new TV and the only thing that will be hooked up to it is my Xbox Series X. Thanks in advance.
I just found your channel and it's great I am currently looking at new tv's I saw this review and I am torn between this hisense u8k and the sony class bravia xr 90l in your opion which would be better thank you
Dude X90L is like the MOST over promoted underwhelming. -80 Local dimming for 65” , low color volume , Sever blooming, pestle shade.
I CAN never do SONY X90 X85 80 level tv. They r YEARLY Matte screen tinted. Look like gluten smear on screen.
Not too obvious in store demo they make it fast moving image n bright.
Ask for remote , go to youtube type in any night walk, dark night scene. D entire screen becomes a pale reflective goo layer matte tinted. Yeah if u ask Bestbuy for remote, they often :”i dont know where it is.”
U dont want that in 2024. 😮
What do you think about the u8k 120hz Dolby Vision gaming. I love it
what, if anything, would be different about the 100" model of this tv that recently went on sale? seems like a really great budget friendly screen
Dragon vs full double sub Sonos system with 300s as rears please 🙏. This video is great but we all want to see the juggernaut battle
Is the subwoofer on the back a concern if wall mounted??
Thank you! Nit numbers for nit nerds isy favorite section!!!! 😂😂😂🎉❤
Hello great review. I have a ?. I am going to buy a u8k this week. My couch is between 9'-10' from where the tv will be mounted. This tv gets very bright. I cant decide if I should buy the 65" or 75". I Have seen both in-store and stood from the distance I told you. Do you think the 75" would be to big and I shoud go with the 65" . If I buy the 65" I will have $500.00 for a sound bar. Thank you for your help.
You'll like both. 75" from 9' - 10' is fine.
I am very indecisive about either getting the 65” U7K or the 55” U8K. I won’t be getting or have a soundbar. I’ll be about 8-9 feet away from viewing except when I get a PS5 then I’ll be like 4 feet away to play it. I have a budget of $700 that’s why I can’t get the 65” U8K. What would you suggest?
