I only buy hisense, I bought one couple years ago when i first moved out on my own and got my first apartment, and after a couple months, a storm came through a messed the TV up. I called hoping they'd help, but I figured they wouldn't. Initially they said they couldnt but after explaining the situation i was in to the rep, to my surprise, he told me to send it in (they gave me a shipping label), and they'll replace it.
Pretty sure it was the reps call whether they'd warranty it or not but due to him helping me in a tough spot, every tv I bought after is a hisense.
P.s. the replacement tv lasted 7 years before I sold it (I was still working fine) because I was moving and couldn't take it with me

@@ivofernandes88 hey Hisense --Google panel/ ULED/Mini LED has been quietly surpassing WOLED for year tho. I had $5000 LED 60” made in Japan before . Thoes HIsense flagship LED 65” look like $3000 visual. My 65” U8G Makes my $1100 Ipad pro-with M2 Chip lok like $280 cheap low end Samsung tablet. Its so strange.
Most ppl have OLED they are comparing with SONY flagship LED. Which ppl do NOT konw SONY LED are infeiro for DECADE . SONY LED started by 100% mass order their LED from SHARP TV. Hisense bought SHARP tv hold SHARP pattern SONY cant touch. SONY makes their own infeior LED which GAVE LED bad name since SHARP exited premium Market. So since SONY’s LED use diff technology”baklight is BlUE” then blend with RED n GREEN. Their color is ugly RGB Pestle n artificial n low contrast. Ppl assume other brands are like that.
HIsense U8H, U8K, now U8N , TCL Qm8 has Color VOLUEM matching - QD OLED Samsung S95B. THAT is Significant.
Hisense UX has color volume match SONY Flagship QD-OLED A95L. But significantly brighter n less pestle than A95L.
WOLED like LG CX C1 C2 C3 A80L A90J A90K etc. they are EXTREMELY low in color volume, Dim, pestle. They just NOT good for over all watching since LED has been quietly surpassing them.

Hey dude u mean WOLED right? Dude seriously u gonna check out U8K U8N U9N. They Significanly surpass WOLED. EVEN 2024 LG G4 is only 8.3/10 COLOR Density/volume.
Once black is black Enough its the highlight + n COLOR CONCENTRATION creats 3D, not the Black black black. In fact if u n I are out spring summer day, all the things we see are MOSTLY NOT black but grey. 🌺🥬🔥🌹🍑 🪼most things like color volume makes it 3D not the Black bar. 🎇🏞️🌇🏙️🏖️🌋🏟️⛺️🏕️. even LG G1 G2 G3 G4 the bright colors are VERY thin n look tinty. 🧩🌸🌷🐬 or often too dim , flat. 🦕🦇🐊pestle.
yeah the TCL Qm8, Hisense U8K already match QD-OLED color Volume, but brighter n more vibrant . it look MORE 3D. :)

This TV technology cycle has evolved over decades, bringing in new players with each revolution. In the beginning, American and European brands were dominant. Such as RCA and Zenith. Then came the wave of European brands such as Phillips, Grundig, Loewe, etc. They were impressive brands at the time. When the CRT TV became more mature and advanced, we started to see Japanese brand names, such as Toshiba and Sony, pop up. Then, the new flat panel TV technology really opened the door for different players altogether. The old players cannot catch up to the latest technology, putting them into the dusk of their time. This phase shows the new emerging players such as Samsung, LG, etc., which, over time, became impressive products along with the price tag. Therefore, soon after, it created an open lower segment for another player to set in. Almost all Chinese brands (TCL, Hisense, Skyworth, etc.) play in this lower-end segment with good to impressive qualities. Would this trend continue? Who knows, in the future technology, we will see new players emerge again, like probably from India? We shall see.

We bought a Hisense TV here in Tokyo about four years ago. Nine months in it started developing odd problems. They sent a tech a couple of times who replaced parts but the problems would recur. So they gave us an updated model that's been problem free for three years now, and we couldn't be happier. I contrast this with a Samsung TV I bought a decade ago that was missing audio out ports that were clearly in the product description. Or a Vizio unit that was plagued with overheating problems despite our living in not-exactly-balmy Toronto.

If u bought an LG in 2012, Depends what model how MUCH u spent. Its Most Likely NOT a LG, but a Sharp TV.
2010-2011 GLOBAL TV market 100% LED TVS were PRODUCED by 1 single company SHARP tV.
All the LEDs even reach into 2012 were SHARP TV but putting on LG SONY Samsung Logos.
Hisense bought Hisense in 2015 n still has most of Sharp patterns. If u get a SHARP LED SONY LED today u might see their Panels look worse after that. Their Own LED technology was not the same. Especially SONY has significantly inferior pestel color on EVERYTHING cuz their own LED use Phosphors blue light as Main light . The Hisense TCL Rokus are their cheap low end. Their GOOGLE/android Panel has Crushing LG SONY leds for 5 years. That LG completely GAVE UP producing better LEDS, they only re launched the same model the previous year the year before. Because their TVs couldnt compete.
I am talking about HIsense TCL premium line have been crushing SONY LG flagship LED panel. Its insane u wont believe it till seeing ti.

Hisense has a long way to go yet. They've nailed down the hardware side but the processing side of their TVs is still extremely weak and not up to the task of properly running the hardware. This has been their problem since the start and I can give you an example. I recently purchased a Hisense U8N mini LED with 1600 local dimming zones on a 65-in screen. Despite this very impressive hardware, letterbox bars are constantly fluctuating in brightness and experiencing massive blooming. On the other hand I also have a 2024 Samsung QN85D which only has 160 local dimming zones and it completely outperforms the Hisense when it comes to black level performance and blooming. Letterbox bars are always inky black and never fluctuate and there is zero blooming on this set ever. This is because it has a far superior local dimming algorithm and massively more powerful processor. Algorithm and processing is more important than actual hardware and zone count. Hisense will never truly compete with big brands until they improve processing power.

FYI……. ( CONTRAST ) -- controls d Brightest white. U can turn contrast down for reduce blooming !
    🎉
Also Bright TV r not best watch in pitch Black .
Often ppl mistake -- theatre experience with TV watching !
    Tv is --- light Source!
Theatre - reflection from fabric screen .
Tv need to be treated like -- giant light bulb .
Yr room needs to have Warm cozy lighting (night light around space ) for eyes at EAZE to be focus on white letters . 😊
Also takes 10 days for eyes to get - break in (muscle memory ) to re focus from previous Tv!
Before that , do not watch too much tv. Otherwise will see artifact / motion issue / blur . --- d same reason ppl got rescued from Mining incident /Cave …. Have to cover eyes n go in door for a week to NOT go blind . Eye pupil muscles goes atrophy . They have to exercise to regain the Pull .
The make sure tv is not -- Dimmed TOO black , but elevate d BLACK a bit (sounds scary )
BUT -- UP the COLOR (Density/Volume ) , d image will look Snatched n alive in snap .
