I sure miss the 80’s
Even people born in the 2000's miss the 80's.
It really was a great time.
What the 80s was all about, pure music
He was a pure entertainer! Thankfully, he's still doing it!
One of the best of my era. He never got enough credit for the artist he was. I miss you Henry Lee
Me and Henry went to High School together! There was a Rock, Pop, R&B, Soul, Country and Oldie Band called the "Main Thing" which Henry later joined. He was great along with the Band Leader Rick Jeffries. Keith Strong (R.I.P.) was the Original Lead Singer (he was something like a Sidney Poitier look alike). Henry (we called him Hank) was a comedian but, we called him the "White Earl the Pearl" because his Basketball Skills and Talent was 2nd to none!!!
He seems like a jolly person.
One of the best singers to come out of the 80's, hands down best mullet!
I just love that voice! Henry Lee Summer! Keep on working son! You will get back to where you belong! I love this song! It isn't just the lyrics, it's the feeling of the song. It's so up beat. So much energy! He put's his all into the whole song. It's just a great song to get your day going!
What a voice, wow.
This song is one of the most 80s things ever produced, i love it.
2 of the greatest 80s songs were by him
Boy he is good...........
Not only is his singing great, he looks like he's having a blast doing it.
@Orvis.....the bass player in this video is Mark Rohrman. He is my dad. He has never played with Mellencamp, Bad Company or CCR. Apparently, E.May has not been honest about his career, But, hell ya, Mark is a great musician and bassist. So this gift you recieved from E.May....sorry to spoil the surprise. Happy thanksgiving.
i seen him play years ago in st louis at mississipi nights with henry he was a fantastic bass player
your old man can rock...with the best of em kid...dont bitch...he can knock em dead
I've known your Pops for over 40 years. From playing with Henry, Duke Tumatoe and now the Flying Toasters, he is a killer bass player!
That’s awesome. He and Mike Organ laying it down, right in the pocket!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I saw him in Chattanooga at around that time, was an excellent show, my friends thought I was nuts, until they started to play....Rocked the House!
i used to watch him in Indiana -- great shows
I wonder if anyone else from his home state watched him?

This guy was great what happened to him
Lots of drugs, mainly meth
Father time gets us all. If we could only keep our 19 year old selves until we were 100.
Still playing gigs here in Indy and surrounding areas and still sounds great!
@@exilemike he's been sober awhile now though.
Wonder what happen to Sheila Lawrence his other back-up singer?

Drugs certainly derailed his 2 hit career
