Back in 1980 this girl moved to our small town in Oklahoma from Cleveland, Ohio. She innocently asked some of us if we'd ever heard the Michael Stanley Band. We all laughed while saying "no" and pretty much belittled her favorite band. Then this song came out... and she had the last laugh!!!
Has been my favorite band growing up and still is. MSB still holds the record sell out crowd at the blossom music center. 74,404 people The Michael Stanley Band packed 74,404 people into Blossom over Aug. 25, 26, 30 and 31, 1982 - an attendance record that still stands.
ABSOLUTELY * Always enjoyed the VIP invites * backstage @ Blossom!! Thank You so very much for ALL the AMAZING memories... KEEP SMILING ® MAXI Make -Up 🥰🎶🎤🎸🎹🎶
M.S.B was shorted in my opinion on the due they deserved for their contribution to Rock & Roll..They were loved in this area yet outside of here were not hardly known..that blows my mind..they had some great tunes..This band deserved so much more than they received
MSB reunion coming this spring just another bad ass Northeastern Ohio rock band originating in the Cleveland Akron Youngstown zone which provided some of the best damn rock music ever made to this day
Growing up in Northeast Ohio 8t was the Browns Buckeyes and MSB was lucky enough to have went to two of the shows at Blossom that year Blossom was great to watch Michael and Jonah every year Why they weren't big time is beyond me
Omg- my gal pals & lil bro,(who is a talented artist of song lyrics as well)wore the grooves off MSB,!!OH mercy, good times!! Yellow bean bag, awesome, blk light,Peace out All ❤.
Saw them in concert in 1978, Flamingo Music Festival, Hialeah Park Race. Headliner was Atlanta Rhythm Section, Dave Mason and also Sea Level. Dont remember who opened first but great concert.
Thanks for sharing... I think this may have been when well over 70,000 were in attendance over those several days of MSB concerts (?). Wasn't able to go during those times for whatever reason but boy did I hear about it from those who did go for one of those nights.

Check out the Vindys from Youngstown!!
msb reunion???wtf?thats would be very hard to have since Micheal Stanly himself is like dead!!!!
Used to spin this tune and most of the others on the album for our frat parties in the early 80's. This band never got the recognition they deserved.
And nobody can tell us why.
If any of y'all are in Boston Mass & you hear MSB coming from a car...it's probably me.
RIP Michael Stanley
🎶❤️💔🙏🎶
Silly question. Which member is Michael?
@@zombie-kb2wq Red jacket & beard
Saw them probably 10-15 times in my life and loved every frickin minute of it!!! RIP, Mr, Michael Stanley! Thanks for the awesome memories❤❤
Recorded at Blossom over 3 nights by UAB Productions. A division of WUAB TV 43 Cleveland.
Back stage pass, RIP MS
These guys we SO underrated as song writers and musicians they played with Joe Walsh and Clarence the big man Clemons so not bad
I always thought Bruce should open a Cleveland show with this song. How would the crowd respond?
@@mjweismann111 I'd love to see it. But let's be honest, Bruce doesn't need a lot of help getting the crowd going.
Michael didn't have any trouble getting the crowd going either!
💯💯💯💯
