    The video I was waiting for. I got my WJ in April and have been gathering parts since. This truss is on that parts list.

    Can a skid plate be used with the truss? like the one for mountain vista fab?

      Yes you can, I installed this example truss with a mountain Vista fabrication skid plate to protect the aluminum housing. Check it out @wj4x4offroad

    My welder is a 110v unit, that's good for metal up to 1/4 thick. Is that sufficient for this job?

      @robgoffroad That would be pushing it for this product.

    Great Product.
    @ ~ 4:15 in the video there is a sleeve of some sort that suddenly appears; without any explanation what it is. Then next the vent tube connector gets threaded into it. What is it, does it thread in or is it supposed to be welded on?, (not shown in the video),... ...does it come with the kit, or is it part of OEM axle?

      The sleeve you're seeing is an included part we call a "T block eliminator". You will reuse the factory vent through this part. The vent threads into the axle tube holding the t block eliminator in place.

    did you make the brake lines or order new ones?

    • @IronRockOffRoad

      Hard line comes in the kit. That way you can route them best with your setup.

    The ratchet strap mount sold me, an I thought they stoped doing the Dana 44A after ‘98? Correct me if I’m wrong, I genuinely would like to know.

      The 44a went on until 2004 in the WJ with v8 and/or quadradrive. It has totally different mounts than your zj. Oh and it's wider. 5x5 bolt pattern.

    Where did the nuts go, I didn't see you use them

    • @IronRockOffRoad
      @IronRockOffRoad  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @darrenmclean4656 The nuts are optional in case you need to repair your axle.

      Wow, nice comment. Thanks for the insult too.

      Sorry if hurt feeling , but cut from older generation. Call it how I see it.
      Don't worry people today will buy it because most today will just accept that it is really less work for you and more for them. .... More money for you and less for them.... Besides just looking at the rear, see a couple different ways to brace with out all that horse sh!t. But hey ,different strokes for and different folk's

      @@bradpaca No hurt feelings here. Please enlighten the class on how you would brace without all that horsesh!t, 🤣

      @bradpaca 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IronRockOffRoad you have hurt feeling I can tell. Look you gave your best and it is shit.... Look for a bolt on solution and you will have your design. Really you should be able to see it . To the people buy this product , your paying money to do all the work.

    • @IronRockOffRoad
      @IronRockOffRoad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@bradpaca I see, you're proposing a bolt on truss. I wonder if you can tell the class why 99% of aftermarket trusses are a weld on design. I suppose they are all horsesh!t as well?? Maybe we should make bolt on frame stiffeners. I'm also going to call it like i see it: You can't weld, and that makes you angry. You see cool things on the internet, that you wish you could have, but alas, they are weld together kits, so that pisses you off. You attempt to insult the manufacturer of the product, but in doing so, you make yourself look dense. Let's play a little game: Just for fun, please post links of your favorite bolt on truss kits.
