I can understand the frustration Byron has. I get it. But if you look at the replay and what he said about his RR tire, that was on him not on joey. I mean how is he suppose to slow down that quick going into turn 3?
Logano had the speed to reach Byron's bumper. Could have tried to pass cleanly but probably didn't have the momentum to get clear of Byron. So, bump'n'run got the job done.
Logano better not cry when he gets driven through next time. At the same time it kinda looked as if Byron tried to brake check him. I might’ve driven through him too…..

How can you look at those two incidents and say they’re the same. You’re lying to yourself to create a reality that you wish was true. There’s a difference between an accident and driving through someone
Just a year or two ago, Brad was livid about Byron's aggressive blocking. Now that William's got some Cup wins, he's complaining. You can't race others hard, then expect kid gloves. Joey got the win, and nowhere will it say he bumped the 24. The pressure to win is greater than ever.

Dale had 70 wins and while he won some of them by "rattling his cage" he won many others by being the best thinker when it counted. And many other drivers have done this besides Dale. The drivers today just do it more often because Nascar allows it without punishment.
And Earnhardt was hated with extreme prejudice for spinning out drivers such as Terry at Bristol 99. He should have been penalized for that but Bill France wouldn't dare since it would anger Dale's fans. For every fan that loved Dale there was one that hated him.

But I don't think this is Logan's fault. I'm sure something happened to that 24 car to make it slow down or hesitate for a split second.
Lagano said it himself in the post race interview that he meant to hit him. Either way, I think Lagano was going to win that race. Byron's tires weren't holding up.

Craven & Busch was a great race at Darlington. Logano could've gave us all another one of those great races but he got too excited, or something, and just wrecked Byron I-racing Rookie style...lol Same thing when Bowman wrecked Hamlin instead of racing him to the finish line at Martinsville last year...lol
Love the fact that Joey popped Byron and Gordon's balloon by moving him and keeping that paint scheme out of victory lane lol you clearly saw Joey catching Byron and he backed up to Joey's bumper and flat got moved and can't take it.
@Thomas 🇺🇸 I guarantee you Byron is not worrying about the way anything will look to anyone especially when Gordon even said it lol as long as he gets Logano back, it's coming!!
@Thomas 🇺🇸 I think the whole respect aspect of this situation has grown wings and flown away. Champion or not gives him any baseline standard of automatically being bestowed with respect is no different than handing out participation trophies, you earn respect and what happened on the last lap is not respect worthy at all. He will get dumped like Kenseth did at Martinsville to him, wait and see.
@Thomas 🇺🇸 He's a Hendrick driver. If he as William Byron, driver of Jeff Gordon's 24 takes out Joey Logano, an already controversial driver, he'd probably gain more fans, and I'm sure the drivers who have had run-ins with a Logano bump n' run would be pretty indifferent to the ordeal. I think the only time it would matter and lose the respect people have for him is if he was somehow knocked out of the playoffs and then decided to ruin Logano's playoff run afterwards.

When a win means you're in. This is going to happen. Now Lagano is in the Championship at the end of the year. Byron, wipe the tears off you face, shut up and decide if you really want to play with the big kids.
Agree 💯
i AGREE WITH YOU WHOLE HEARTEDLY BUT THE BIGEST PISS'ER, WAS TERRY LABONTE'S "We just wanted to rattle his cage a little bit, and that was it" August, 1999 at Bristol. Dale SR.
I hate Logano but Byron is mad he got raced going into the white flag. The cars are risky to pass and I don't blame him not taking chances. Plus Byron wants to act like he's the victim when he made Logano hit the wall.
When a win means you're in. This is going to happen. Now Lagano is in the Championship at the end of the year. It's not about being consistent and finishing very race for the points at the end like it use to be. It's who gets lucky at the right time. This format sux. No other divisions championship is determined this way and they do just as well. Can this BS nascar.
And logano wonders why he has no fans
Logano fan here!
@@paulmann7061 he has 2 fans. U and his mom. In fact he actually only has one fan
@@KFBfanforlife 😂🤣
Got the full Gordon fan Nostalgia with this one. F**king s#!t
He needs some cheese with that whine don't run a veteran up into the wall and not expect retaliation great racing
Dale Earnhardt made a living with the bump and run. This is no different. Ironically, Willie reminds me of Logano when he first came into cup. Timid and doesn’t know how to stand up for himself. If he really felt that strongly, he should’ve been in Joey‘s face after the race.
This was not a bump and run, because a bump in run let's the other driver still be close. This was a dump and run, because Joey didn't move Byron, he put Bryon in the wall
Not a Logano fan but that was good, hard racing at the end there. Hate to see that 24 throwback car banged up though.
Should have made him go up top and put him in wall first . I'm sure you would have right . Like Larson , Like Bowman
Just get him back in the final four and cost him a chamionship. Simple. On the other side, if you don't want to be moved out of the way, don't be in the way.
Seemed like Jamie was trying not to smile when WillieB was motioning when the crowd booed JoLo
And he gives redemption a year later let’s go #24ever
Quit cryin byron! You put him in the wall and got it back!
Oh shut up, Logano could have put himself into the wall.
@@NightOfTheLivingWeavile shut it
Byron drove Joey up into the wall on the restart. Joey just repaid the favor. Another pouting session for the Hendrick driver!
you can hear the crowd, that says it all. Cheap move
Bump and run
Thats right, bump and run!
Exactly! Race fans love competition. Not cheap ass stunts.
@@fenderguy5865 when did a cheap stunt happen?
@@gregdavis7204 The crowd response says it all. Btw, I'm a Logano fan....😉
If I recall correctly, something similar to this happened in Bristol last year with Harvick and Elliott. People swore that Harvick ran Elliott up on purpose. Those same people are now saying that Byron’s car just got loose and he couldn’t help it b/c Logano pinned him too low.
William B, normally smiley and upbeat, just got a fire lit inside him I think. Never seen him so serious and pissed off looking before. I see payback in the future, I don't think he's gonna forget this one...
Byron can cry all he wants I have no problem with Logano.
