The difference is they go into the corner slow enough to make the turn and are on a guys bumper pushing him and the other guy can’t handle the speed through the corner like they can. Austin went into the corner too fast to make the corner unless he wrecks the car in front of him and uses that car to slow him down. Dale Sr mastered this bump and run tactic. He didn’t necessarily wreck the car in front of him he just pushed faster than the driver could go through the corner but not faster than he could. Generally this is due to a better car setup or newer tires. With Dale it was just a driver with more talent with speed through a corner. Very different than just hitting a guy while going straightaway speed while he’s slowing to make a corner.

Also on Motorsports on NBC post race interviews video . From a moth ago. At 2:50 while they are interviewing hamlin they show the same video. Then Shows hamlin moving up while dillon stays on that white line and then you see hamlin move up of the bottom stripe then his car break loose and starts to slide into dillons car. From like a foot and a half the back of hamlins car slides into Dillon. And in video of hamlins incar Hamlins spotter was yelling outside outside outside.. so if you're gonna say dillons spotter yelling wreck him is proof that dillon even acknowledged what his spotter said and "obeyed" him, then you can say hamlin knew Dillon was on his outside, and intentionally was trying to wreck dillon and run him into the wall. Haven't 3:06 watched much NASCAR as of late but I'll tell you now I just become an Austin Dillon fan! Dale Earnhardt flashback he was the intimidator. Its a different generation of rules and drivers that's why it's not watched much.

The "event" you are referring to with Kenseth. Kenseth was a lap down and wasn't leading the race. Kenseth was going everywhere on the track to block Logano who was twice as fast as Matt. Totally different scenario.
As an Australian, no idea about the rules of Nascar, but to me running someone purposely off the road is bad sportsmanship. If this is part of the rules of Nascar that this is a legitimate thing to do, then he won fair and square. If you are not supposed do that in Nascar, then the other guy should win... They need to change the rules and start taking the wins, playoff points, automatic playoff elimination, hefty fines and much needed suspensions. Not a big fan of Joey or Denny but that was a horrible display of how to win a race. Dillon's legacy will be defined by this race.
What was wrong with that move? I was listening to this incident on sirus xm and they jept saying it was 4 car lengths between on last corner. It was only 1. He didn't fi anything that Logano and Hamlin haven't done several times. NASCAR needs to reverse there ruling.

Haven't 3:06 watched much NASCAR as of late but I'll tell you now I just become an Austin Dillon fan! Dale Earnhardt flashback he was the intimidator. Its a different generation of rules and drivers that's why it's not watched much.

I’ll try to not be biased because I am a Logano fan but What Dillion did was dirty and dumb. I understand if you give Logano the bump and run or move him up the track but to gas it when you knew you weren’t there it’s just flat out cheap then right hook the 11 because he was about to steal the win is embarrassing. I’m sure Dillion’s going to be a first round exit so it doesn’t really matter

The "event" you are referring to with Kenseth. Kenseth was a lap down and wasn't leading the race. Kenseth was going everywhere on the track to block Logano who was twice as fast as Matt. Totally different scenario.
As an Australian, no idea about the rules of Nascar, but to me running someone purposely off the road is bad sportsmanship. If this is part of the rules of Nascar that this is a legitimate thing to do, then he won fair and square. If you are not supposed do that in Nascar, then the other guy should win... Please enlighten me on the rules.
