Saito FA-91S vs. Saito FA-80

I run my two mid size Saito's on Morgan's Omega 5% with 4.8 oz of Klotz castor oil added. This brings the total lubrication to 20%.

Hi David, Peter Chinn and Clarence Lee both talk about running four strokes on 15-17 % oil, they mention that they run better and less chance of detonation etc. due to the lower compression ratio, One day If you get a chance is would be interesting to see one of your comparisons running 20% and then 15%

I do not have access to fuel containing only 15% total lubrication content nor would I run it in any of my engines.

I have a question I have a saito fa91 with a d marking on it. Could you tell me what the year is or where I can find the years this motor was made I also have a fa 56 or 58 was wondering same thing keep up the videos I put my fa91 in a hanger 9 10cc valiant pulls it awesomely!

Harvey, I no longer have my Saito 80 so I cannot do a direct comparison. While I am pretty certain that the carb of an 80 might MOUNT to the 91S, I do not think the barrel opening is the same.

No I have never had a 125 at the same time I have had a 120. it would be interesting though.
