great video! I went off lithium for a couple of days in november and it was by far one of the worst manic episodes I ever had. Im recoveing slowly but stay on your medication!
There are many meds other lithium (for anyone watching). They are all primarily classified as mood stabilizers. I’m on Seroquel. I will never go off of it. Just listening to this almost brings me to tears. I wish I were proud of myself but I’m embarrassed.
Don't be embarassed!!! You are not alone. I take a mix of lithium and abilify. Keeps me stable. I sure felt alone when I was first diagnosed but videos like this give me hope that I'm not the only one managing this illness. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
Great Show,Maurice Benard is the greatest on tv and off.I watch him on General Hospital and State of Mind.I live in Houston tx.I have Border line Bipolar.I moved here 14 years ago.I can't find a Doctor that takes my Insurance.My PCP Doctor doesn't want to Give me meds for my mental health.I don't know what to do.Thank you for the Great show.

What is lithium and it a perceived medication? Or controlled drug?
It is a prescribed medication used to treat bipolar disorder, and no it is not a controlled substance.
If he's method it's really hard. Maybe Sonny should not be Bi Polar.
