It's very interesting to read some of the comments by some of your viewers on the great spiritual figures of India. It's quite unfortunate that a few of them are made in a disdainful manner forgetting about whom we are making such comments! Why don't we ourselves try to reach that highest level of spirituality before making any comments on them? Do we gain anything by doing this?
Anyway, I like your explanation on the various teachings of Shri Ramana Maharshi.

What are “great spiritual figures” for you might be based on a lack of discrimination. True, India has a rich history of great spiritual figures like Kabir, Thayumanavar, Manikkavachagar and of course Sri Ramana etc., however most others are either fakes or low level teachers.

    good talk, michael 🙏
what you say is true, but, you didn't talk about the energetic aspect of brahmacharya.
retaining sexual energy and using it to empower inner realization, rather than "blowing off steam", as it were, has great value; swami sivananda and swami vivekananda, would talk about this.
the celibacy aspect of brahmacharya is not about suppression of sexual desire, but, rather, sublimation (transformation) of sexual energy into higher kundalini energy; this can be done through specific asanas, pranayama, and japa.
ultimately, you're right, it's all about turning the attention inwards; but, for those of us who find difficulty concentrating the attention for long periods of time, brahmacharya can be an invaluable aid and empowerment.

Celibacy is only important for those that don't know the secret.

Ramana is a beginner he could not deal with muktiverse or lokas so he had to reborn and do the rest again. Most of them are nihilists and suffer from I god delusion. Krishna was greater than ramana and was never a celibate. Ramana was a trial and glimpse. His pathway is never correct who am I etc. It's a dilution and falsity itself and if they found inner guru why still waiting for enlightenment and keep listening to ramana stuff over and over again? Listen to inner guru but do you have inner light avail? If not, ramana didn't do nothing to you apart from philosophical simulation by modern gurus. Stop listening to external gurus first and rid own delusions off. Get things correct in the right hemisphere so can be balanced enlightenment of both brains. Study Neuroscience and neuro theology if keen not some baseless sermons. Ramana was awakened but never an enlightening guru like Krishna. A god made by followers made god and why though? Nisargadatta almost the same. They don't even know the basics and no verifying devices back then to analyse the state of above mind back then. Now it's avail but gurus know they get exposed as they have only black magic and vaseekaran. What a waste

Teachings of Ramana Maharishi is for the people who are into Jnana yoga,
No one shoe fits all, Even Krishna says Bhathi, Jnana, Karma, Raja yoga margas
Ramana Maharishi never said he is a god and needs to be worshipped, he sees himself in you and everyone, and he knows you, the frog, bird, tree are all one and the same
Only followers of Jnana yoga feel the grace of Ramana, the mind turning inwards and getting obliterated, This grace is what makes Ramana into Bhagawan Ramana Maharishi

@@neverdyingtruthiscommonforall he contradicting himself. If silence could reveal all why using knowledge jhana? I have nothing against him but his method. I would rather have the experience and life that is the key to such. He's not the guru but inner light. If you have it you don't need ramana nor anyone. Do we have it though? Inner guru is the inner light that appear only in meditation at first. Am I talking to such people or those who have jhana knowledge about it? Jhana Vs gyan. Both are different. Former is theory and later is practice or experience. Cheers

      @@user-yo2ki7vu7d Yes silence is enough,
Its is for the people who came daily and pestered him to teach him something he taught to ask "Who am I",
His Teaching is Silence(If you understood some other teaching you have wrongly understood him)
Only for the beginner all knowledge is needed, As practice continues you can feel the magnetic pull from inside and it becomes automatic as your nature ,Its like sinking deeper and deeper
You are arguing, Is it not Inner guru enough, Enough when you can surrender yourself complete, but are we surrendering without resistance?
Ramana(outer guru) only points you to your inside,
But you are not surrendering to that guru inside and comes out and ask Ramana,
Again he is only giving his grace to turn your mind inwards
A magnet pull from inside and a magnetic push from outside
(Is it wrong for Ramana to give his grace to turn the mind inwards?)
Silence alone is his teaching, if you read somany things just threw it out
Ramana is you and you are Ramana. Ramana is aware of that, Are you?
Onemore thing, A jnani has no individuality, whatever he teaches is from the words of Paramatman himself,
So krishna or whoever is not talking from his individuality
