The old saying goes, the mother carries the sins of the children. I know this to be true because, I worked as a prison officer and when visitation day came, mom was always there to visit but the pain, embarrassment, and sadness was written all over her face along with the love for her child.
This truly was "Do Your Best"! I was at a hockey game, this tween girl was up and down the aisle a lot...she respected all of the other fans by waiting until the play stopped then she moved...I stopped her Dad on his way up the aisle, to Thank him for teaching her good spectator etiquette! 👏😇👍🙏🏻 He was pleasantly surprised by my observation!

I am a “Weston” and on my way to graduate in a Social Work Program at the end of this year. I went back to school at 30, after my first born. I made a promise to myself I would let nothing stop me. I experienced a miscarriage and a full term birth with my second kid who just turned one while working and taking classes. it is so good to hear another Mom validate all my feelings and worries! So many roles to fill! It’s okay to not be okay!
My best friend of 30 years passed in 2013. Her daughter was my next best friend and took her own life the next year. I miss them so much. Love this video. 💕💕🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@@rhondaborders3452 we met working in coal mines in 1979, here in Alabama. After awhile we became close friends. She was from the Cherokee Reservation in NC. I’d never been to the mountains. As kids we wanted to go to beach. After one trip to Cherokee, I was in love with the mountains. She got hurt and on disabled. She decided to move back home to take care of her mom. The day she moved her mom passed away. So sad. Anyhow eventually she moved back here to be with kids. 30 years is a long time. She was 13 years older than me. Everyone thought I was her daughter. Even people that knew my parents. I’m sorry for long post. I didn’t say earlier her other daughter died from Sepsis about 4 years ago. Just her son and grandsons now. Thanks for letting me talk about them. This week is anniversary of her death. You’ve helped me more than you know. 😢💕💕

@@donnacaksackkar8453 I live in a country area in Australia 🇦🇺 quite a distance from my other friends, we move to a seaside country town 7 years ago , my son lives 8 hours away, which you have to do by road. Some times it is extremely lonely. It certainly is easier to make friends when your and your children are younger. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy enough. ♥️

You may want to remember "your best" is on a sliding scale, and your best isn't to be compared to anyone else's best, because we each are special in our own way. If you want to compare, consider your past compared to your present. If your present is an improvement over your past, then I'd say you are doing your best more often than not. Also, as much as media and other stuff would have you believe it, life is NOT a competition, and when we are doing our best, that includes loving ourselves and others equally.
I loved this video. ❤️ the real stuff in a moms life. I'm a single mom of two boys, sadly their dad has never been involved in their lives. But I gladly did the job as both mom and dad. The mistakes I made my boys witnessed those mistakes and I always turned those mistakes into life lessons for them. I told my kids that it's ok to make mistakes because we learn important life lessons and we have to be accountable for our actions. So now my boys are 27 and 26 years old , and watching them navigate through their lives as respectful and compationate members of society, I know I must have done something right. 😊 thank you for sharing this with us all. You guys are all doing your best and it shows.
Everything in life is always ups and downs. Children are the scariest things to ever happen because they are the life that teach you fear.
They teach you warmth, they teach you love, they teach you to protect and they are the first thing in life that instills such a fear which forever you're always worrying about them.
You are all doing great! These are your first loves that you would die for and I applaud each of you.
That kid that watches Daniel's videos, his mama should be proud, to see the channel he is watching. There will not be a more respectful, loving, guiding education for him and I hope he is blessed with a dad like Daniel in one way or another.
As for anyone complaining you're at the beach, don't waste your energy with their thoughts, it is ridiculous that anyone should ever question or bother you in your journey.
Maybe they just need to get excited for life and get off their Steve instead of worrying about what you're doing.
It's very beautiful to see in life, such loving parents that actually interact with their kids and love it.
We all have good days and bad days, Deej you should be very proud of yourself you're a great mom!
I love that you guys give your children so much opportunity to be part of life, to grow, to be heard and seen. It is so rare to see that.
Personally I think you and Daniel should write a book on parenting on being a mother, on being a father, on shining positive light on your children at all stages of life.
Listen you can't blame yourself they have free will and with that free will, a lot of the life lessons is their Moody discoveries and testing parents.
I once heard, if people would realize about other people of all ages that when things are not going on right ,you just don't give up.
I heard that if we look at it as if we have a computer problem and we know it's not the computer we realize it's the software so we don't throw out the computer.
Well each person is the computer you can't get rid of that, you just got to change up the software.

The photographer did a great job with the photos. I would really like to see them when they are finished, if possible. Daniel really hammed it up didnt he, Lol! really all the guys did. And really you ladies are down to earth people, and we all feel the same way about raising kids. My main goal for my kids was that they be respectful to others and their property. I have had feedback that my kids were and still are to this day. Thats when you know the hard work you put into them really paid off. Have a nice day to all that may read this and God bless!

DeJay you are an inspiration to so many, both women and men! I’m a mother of three adult children and five grandchildren (number 6 is due in November) Life is way too short to constantly worry what others think about you/your spouse/your children or even your grandchildren. I’ve always told my kids from a very young age to follow their bliss. And I’m so very proud that that’s exactly what they’ve done. We all have bits and pieces of our lives that we’d like to have done differently. The important thing is that God loves us EXACTLY as we are. I can’t wait to see the pictures from the beach!!! This is the best video I've seen. I needed to hear what you and your friends had to say. Having a rough time with my great grandson who is 13. I have had him since he was 4 months old. I am 73. Some days my prayers are just to live through the day. He has been doing some very hurtful things and it is hard to not give up. Thank you for helping me make it and keep going. No Mom or Dad is perfect but we do our our best. I wanted to be super Dad because My Dad wasn't a great Dad unless he was sober which was rare. My Grandfather was who I model myself after. He was a Saint. An Italian immigrant that never learned how to speak English or read or write but he never said a negative thing but just taught us to be the best patient, compassionate person we could ever be !!! I miss him more each day and he died in 1981. I love you Non and miss you so much !!! I also miss my wife that passed 20 years ago. I'm so lonely but I know God has a plan !!!

The best ever for moms! As a mom of 4, 1 by birth, and the other 3 by unexpected circumstances (murder), I can tell you. I did my best. But they are all soooo very different. Even my 3 I took in. My nieces and nephew are nothing alike. We have to adjust the way re raise them according to the person they are. It’s so hard, but it teaches us, everyone is different. One of my favorites. Thank you so much for capture this. ❤️

A coworker said “I love how you post pictures and are not concerned with the fact your folded laundry is stacked on the table in the back ground or you can see dirty dishes on the counter but you post them anyway”. I said well I appreciate your honest enough to admit you zoom into the background of my photos. I live is a small house so folding laundry on the table is the only choice and we eat in our house. It I waited on the background to be perfect I would miss so much life. My Facebook is me sharing life with my family and friends… life is messy but the moments are beautiful.

I lost my very best friend of 40 years to cancer. So hard to carry on without her grace and her love of Jesus. No one can take her place.
