I love being a mom. I will always have my younger daughter with me. She is now 43. She is autistic and a cancer survivor. I love my Kelli ❣️
I lost my oldest daughter, Allie when she was 15, to brain cancer. It took many hard years to come to terms with it. All that said ,I found out through a friend that I have a gift, blessing actually. That blessing is that I now help young children. I am a grief facilitator at our local Grief Center. I have been doing this for 6 years. I know I am doing my best.

My daughter who has eight children has a sign by the stove. It's actually a metal rooster holding a chalkboard sign saying "On The Menu". Below it she wrote "Eat it or starve". Once one of my grandsons had a friend over who asked what was for dinner, my grandson innocently replied "eat it or starve", and pointed to the sign! 😄😄😄

A big thumbs-up for removing the hats at the supper table. I was in Cracker Barrel recently and noticed how no one removed their hats. My grandparents would be appalled but times are changin’.
My dad always removed his hat when he walked in the door times are changing I guess that us something we will have to over look somethings
I had brain anuerism surgery that left me with a frankenstein scar on my half shaved head. My daughter took me for lunch. I wore my hat to cover the stitches and bare head. But, after a few mean stares, I took it off briefly to show them I had a legit reason. They looked away right quick and the mean stares stopped....You just never know what anyone is going through....
I am afraid our grandparents would be shocked and saddened of what is going on.
@@beckycottingame6707 Very true, there are exceptions for every situation. I’ve never mean-mugged anyone for wearing a hat at the table. You don’t know what their situation is, and it’s not a big deal. But when I see a table of six young men all wearing hats and another table of three men next to ‘em with hats and two more at another table, I gotta figure they’re not all exceptions. They just weren’t taught the same set of manners that I was. It was nice to see the Arms remove theirs.
@@beckytaul4355 I've said at times that I'm glad my dear Daddy isn't around to see what our world has become. As he aged he was outraged at the things he did see and he passed in 2020.

As I heard someone tell their kids "I am not a short order cook". Just had thoughts have y'all ever done shorts. Shorts and tanks are my main attire this time of year ( I grew up in Florida and now live in South Alabama). I spray my cat's sometimes when the get out of hand or when I catch them. I really like that saying, thank you for sharing. Man that dinner looks great, love all the ingredients.
My favorite sausage (low in carbs I might add) is called Conecuh. It is made in the next county up from me. Actually know someone who works there. Anyway, it is really good.

Especially now, these days there's so much debate about everything.
There is a saying that if you are focused on the negative then the negative is what you will get.
You cannot manifest positive in your life if all you're complaining about or all your thoughts are negative.
Also I think I said this once before, Mother Teresa was asked would you come and support us at an anti- whatever rally? and she declined. She continued being invited to these anti Rally's. Mother Teresa's response was I will not be part of anything that's anti, anything but I will welcome any rally that is for peace.

I think it's so important anyone who prays to God believes in their prayers.
God already knows exactly what's happening, there are no mistakes there's no hidden agendas and we don't need to save the world, God has it all under control.
The negative in life teaches us to grow just as the positive does.
We have to allow God to work and stop being resistant.
So many people pray to God but are never patient to believe God hears and is answering the prayers.
Many of us speak of God but have no trust or embrace to love.
Love is not just a word it is an action and a reaction that has so many different interjections of levels. When you learn it, " Love" you learn to be unconditional, in your heart, you see clearly, you hear clearly, and your actions are without judgment, forgiving and embracing, Because of love in such pure simple form.
You learn to love your neighbor just because, that is what God teaches us.
We are taught this and the day we actually learn what love is we embrace all that is God, on a level that is so precious in such a peace and harmony, "To Live".
We are not here to make a decision of what to understand we are here to understand our only decision is, love.
The hardship that everyone struggles with and fear, "we" create. we are our own worst enemy because we are so resistant to trust and believe that love is so simple.
We blame God and everyone for everything negative. Yet it's our minds that create it, our actions. Our egos in so much patterns of resistance.
Can you imagine this world if all our actions were about spreading unconditional love?
I have so much love for you and Daniel because there's so many different positive things you teach and I know there are some you too are learning, an growing. Above all I would say you guys are two of the most beautiful people about family life and love within oneself and all that you're putting out there.
These videos touch people's lives and help them to grow and I applaud you both for that.
Best way to learn love is to stop sweating the small stuff, we are not in other people's shoes to tell them what is right and wrong.
God touches our life no matter what religion no matter what culture no matter what amount of pain and suffering or no pain at all, etc.
The only position we are in life is to love, everything else is the ego filled with insecurities trying to speak someone else's mind.
When you speak your words if you don't feel happy after they have been spoken then it was not in God's favor.
When you speak God's words your heart is lifted with love and light and laughter Joy.
Sometimes we just don't have to speak just send out love and light to all people whether they make you feel good and especially when they don't. Send out lots of hugs and love. Practice being true to your inner self because every word you speak and every action from your inner self represents God.

Love your videos Deejay! I also enjoy seeing what you cook and juice. Another way to cook that meal is by doing what we call a Hobo pack. Take everything you had and make one big or individual packs in tin foil. Add a little butter or olive oil salt and pepper as desired. Fold over the tin foil to seal and cook on the grill. This would be a perfect meal for Daniel and Houston to have on one of their camping trips over on the other property. The food can be prepared ahead of time and added to their cooler to take with them. God Bless you all!!!

I’m a 66 year old ex farm boy , and we were taught to take hats off at table. If you sat down to table with it on you were excused from table and when everyone was done eating then you could go to table and eat your meal by yourself.. and we didn’t quit farm till late 80s and I taught my boys when cell phones came out no phones at meals . You want to talk to someone, you talk to family at table or go sit in living room…

You might try a little can of air instead of the water mist! The psst noise followed by the blast of air might work. You might also see about getting the canned horns like folks use at some events. Dollar Tree here in NW AR used to have those horns (toy section.)
