Fallon is almost the size of her momma now. Wow the triplets have grown. Daniel is one of Fallon's first experiences so she'll likely always be bonded with him.

Phoebe bonded with DeJay way beyond food provider with bottle feeding. She's really cute. Seeing the carrot preference made me think they might like apples. Love a few minutes with the donkeys. :o) So glad Reba is getting stronger. I think this first experience of motherhood has been a little bit overwhelming for Lucy. :o) Thank you!

Reba seems to have been a little premature. I know you don't want a bottle baby but I would give her some extra vitamins and minerals once a week for 6 weeks, that's just me. She's a beautiful girl.

It's wonderful to see your love and care for your animals. Live in NWA. Too many folks here allow their canines to roam freely. My neighbor has six canines. The pups seem to think they own the road. They actually nap on the road. Locals know about the dog zones, and most drive cautiously. But not all. The mountain road is quite serpentine and undulating. There are many blind spots. I worry about the pups getting run over. In recent weeks there has been an increase in strays on my property. I fear they are being dumped due to the economy. On Tuesday 10/25/2022, an elderly chocolate lab/mix appeared at my fenced dog area. It appears that she was once loved but she was totally shutdown. She wouldn't let me near her, yet she wouldn't leave. I provided her food and water. I talked to her in a calm gentle voice. She allowed me to cover her with blankets for the night. This afternoon she emerged from her shutdown. She smiles, wags her tail, allows me to pet her. She allowed me to put a collar on her (a camo that compliments her coat color). Still building trust. Hope to get her to vet next week. Folks, if circumstances prevent proper care for a critter, please don't dump them. Please send them to a no-kill rescues...

You could start a Donkey Therapy center and I bet you would have people booking all the time. That is the best therapy. I showed horses growing up and when I had the worst day ever our horses always calmed my nerves, anxiety, sad moods, and just put me at peace.
