been playing since D1 beta, i've been disappointed sometimes with the game but this is the fist time i've got straight up pissed about it. the hell were they thinking smh
Honestly D2 is a fun game whether through the pros and cons and funny enough I do agree with the fact of LFGs being toxic and people not having empathy in an activity that could be solved if simply they'd be willing to help. It is hard to deal with LFGs let alone find the right one. I do see the point of how solo players or even people who are social distant in a game can be. It's easier said than done and I do hope that people are willing at some point in time to open their eyes and see that not everyone is the same.
I think they will eventually hopefully let solo players just farm chests and not lock it behind this mission, because this backlash is not going to stop. I can't do the duo mission, I haven't even got headphones mic so I'm screwed. A really really bad decision by Bungie.
That’s the problem with everyone that thinks like you do if you put it in a different perspective, you might see what the point of this mission actually is it’s literally a training ground for people to learn different mechanics just like the new story was they didn’t make it easy Because it’s training you to be a better player being disabled is not an excuse. that’s like saying everyone should be allowed to have all of the raid weapons even if you do not complete any of the raid that is a mentality that will literally kill a video game

I was in a large successful guild years ago and enjoyed raiding. We ran off DKP and I joined every raid. I went on holidays for two weeks, came back, got an item drop with my dkp and had 1/4 of the guild send me hate messages because they thought I shouldn't have got the item because I went on holidays, despite having the DKP for it (server first drop) I left after a couple of months due to being made an outsider and having people I once thought were friends ignore me. I now rarely ever join guilds or play with other people. I was fine with playing Destiny 2 mostly solo except some strikes and even a dungeon or two now and then. It takes me 10 - 20 minutes of anxiety to join, and then I need a breather between games. I solo'd up to the new quest, did it all by myself. Got the quest flag and saw that it needed two players. I did a quick search, saw that I needed to communicate directly and not only that, it was timed. After trying a couple of times, I've since quit. I wont damage my mental health any more. They should have said it was a two player mission that required communication. Many people don't care and that's fine. But for some people to attack others for having issues about playing with others is deplorable.

I work, 2 teenage boys, and 5 month old baby, it’s impossible to do anything with other players on destiny. Due to time constraints or start and stopping anything other than solo I can’t do. Timed missions are out the window. I love this video and thank you for addressing it.

Haven't seen you first video, but this one randomly popped up. Excellent work. I actually think Bungie has a massive toxicity problem. I quit Pantheon and handed in my quests last season. Not because I was kicked or abused, but I couldn't stand how other players were treated. Or players starting a LFG group turning up, saying nothing, guiding no one, and leaving stating ""It's never going to happen". There should be a way of flagging toxicity, which could in effect bias say an RnG bias in game. Not banned, just bring them Karma. Not sure how enforceable and fair that would be but F me. Every negative thing you said about SOME players attitudes is bang on. Well done for calling out the obvious. And yes, Bungie has mislead and mistreated the solo community
TFS campaign was amazing and made very accessible to solo players, loved it. But this exotic mission on top of the changes to exotic mission rotator and dungeons have ruined the end game so experience. I have never transfered from excitement to pure frustration faster than this.
saddest thing is Bungie promotes mental health and inclusion, accessibility , does charities and then dumps something like this on us without any comment or their viewpoint, I was genuinely excited for this new class item system, Did everything up to the point when i saw the mission banner, asking me to be in a team of 2, I never felt so let down and empty from a game before, i really like and spend my time years in. It really ate up a lot of my energy and I felt like not playing destiny or any game. Seeing streamers i like not understand is though. I get they dont have the issues in such extent as others and cant not see the point of view.

I have autism too and was excited for the exotic class items until I found out you can't do it solo and am extremely disappointed. I am not even going to try LFG, like you, it produces a lot of anxiety for me.
This is exactly how I feel and I have mental health issues and tried joined groups and been called thick and stupid cause my issues and hard to explain when ppl don’t understand. I enjoyed destiny but I wish I was told that need 2 players for exotic class items. I wish there was a discord channel for ppl like us. No toxic behaviour just ppl that wanna play and enjoy and take the time to be patient. I would rather spend 2 hours on a mission then be put down.

First time watching this channel, and im gotta say, hearing you say all that made me feel a lot more comfortable with my ...lets say...low social battery. Ive never been diagnosed, and at my age im pretty sure im past the point where it would make sense to get diagnosed. Thank you so much for this. People have been so toxic about this it's absurd. The arrogant, snobbish, cruel attitude by so many people the past couple days has only reinforced the reason so many of us solo in this game. I have real life friends who play, but they are busy and we often can't match up play times so I'm solo a majority of the time. I've tried to LFG for this mission the past couple days, and honestly am close to uninstalling the game because I've lost so much respect for the destiny community as whole because 90% of the LFG experience has been absolutely toxic. I'm convinced most of them are in LFG because nobody will play with them again after seeing their attitude.
I had a really good experience with the mission through lfg a couple times. If you're not using discord lfg do that. Mention being chill and I think it can totally be a good experience. Even I'm not super social but when it comes to getting a mission done just suck it up and talk to a person. There's no way it's that bad.

As someone that has week one’d every raid, dungeon, got godslayer in a week and so much more all with lfg I wanna say you’re absolutely right. It is not ok for people to think just because it worked for them it will work for others. And yes bungie dropped the ball on forcing people to play together, I’m happy that’s the main option but it should not be the only option.
You are the first You tube content creator to talk about the Exotic class item issue rather than gloss over it and that is why you got my sub. On Steam , 7% of destiny 2 players have the achievement for Grandmaster Nightfall completion which suggests that over 90% of destiny 2 players have said "No Thanks" to difficult non-matchmade endgame activity. Assuming this is reflected on console as well, there is a perfect storm coming for Destiny 2's population .

If these were drops from the raid I could understand as a solo player not getting these cause I understand that a raid is much more time consuming and more difficult to do than a single mission. Plus exotic missions in the past have all been able to be completed solo, even dungeons can be soloed, so my question is why was this mission made this way for something that was heavily marketed for this expansion?

Bungie has gone full hardcore with final shape. I've been playing destiny for over 5 years. I don't play pvp. I have done all the raids but have not ever really enjoyed them. I won't even attempt the new raid as its well known that it is destiny's hardest raid yet. I have attempted dual but my mic doesn't work for some reason. It was a horrible experience and I had to quit. The truth is lots of the player base do not like using microphones or do not own microphones. Also, don't forget a large part of the destiny community don't speak English as their first language and reading English comments is easier than speaking it. Don't get too down about toxic elitists. They are predominantly adolescent boys , who need to feel that they are better than others at something. Sad but true.
Thank you for being a voice for us. Prismatic was the main reason I purchased the expansion to only find out it’s locked behind a mini raid. I rarely do raids due to the lack of fireteam and time. Not to mention how elitist the LFG is. Anyways, thanks again for speaking out on this and for those of you who need to hear it again…Destiny is NOT an MMO.
I've told people over and over again and they just don't seem to get. It's not about the mission or how hard it is or anything like that. It's that when you have very important content behind a team oriented objective it closes off half the community. There are so many people with disabilities, social anxietys, or time for that but feel locked out now because we can't do it.
I agree with a lot of your points made in both videos. I’ve been a solo player since D1. Anytime a raid or team required events happen I just skip it. I really hope they at least change it to accommodate the solo players even if it would take longer and be harder.
I can completely understand how you feel with the social anxiety especially when your wanting to learn a new raid/dungeon or even a mission as I suffer from social anxiety and its mentally and physically draining more so when meeting new people and its a uphill battle inside and outside gaming. Whenever i put up in lfg i always say willing to teach new players as i have alot of patience and never get pissed with anyone if they don't know something. Dude you did a fantastic job here putting in simple terms for people to understand.
Its truly ironic and disturbing that some people who have multitudes of free time on their hands to play the game all day get butt hurt about having to patiently work with struggling players who just wanna dip their toes in during the limited available time they have. I work two full time jobs currently and I don't even consider playing any content like raids or dungeons that I know are going to require committing a massive amount of time, not because I don't think it could be time well-spent, but because I would feel awful if I became the reason the rest of the team felt they wasted theirs. The last thing I purchased from bungie was the discounted shadowkeep expansion during lightfall, before that I got beyond light, and I bought the game with forsaken. I played d1 and loved it, was super stoked for d2 when I played the free beta, but had to wait years to actually get the game just because I'm poor. Of course I buy the game for about 50 bucks which took me a while to save, and a couple years later they make it free... so im not surprised that there's a lot of toxicity in the community, I just do my thing and try to enjoy as much out of the total 100+ bucks I spent on the experience. Still have skyrim special edition I bought for 20 bucks on the Playstation store, and dark souls I bought for 30, these will give me many years of playable content long after destiny's servers make like trees and leave us, for not a dollar more. Thats a dam good deal.
This is my first time commenting on any video I have watched on TH-cam. What you said about social anxiety, mental health disorders, and the struggles we have to try and overcome, is absolutely on point. We appreciate you for trying to bring this to the attention of the D2 community considering the amount of backlash and b.s you will receive for it. There is too much criticizing and dismissing people for how they are or what they believe , and not enough trying to have an understanding of why a person is they way they are or what they believe. We should create a community of people that suffer from these disorders and raid together, i'm sure it would be very interesting and awkward lol.

You're on the mark on this my friend....when I found out I can't get class items I stopped caring about trying to get a build to look for a clan or a team....you need to be the best to get in a group or you get kicked...but can't get to that level without a group....what can you do? Also what is next...story....supers...what is the next thing that will be LFG...as someone who played wow as a tank LFG is rolling with disadvantages and you need to get a natural 20...it can happen but only one thing needs to go wrong and it could be in the last room on the last minute.
Main thing with this mission… if it was an experience that opened up after completing excision, and it was for a unique legendary weapon with a chance to get an exclusive shader and hoverboard it would be lauded as an epic win. The mistake? Putting THE hype item behind this mission. The exotic class item. They could even do guaranteed drops of the class item in there too… as long as there was another way to get it. The Enigma vex time trial would have been one alternative. Still hard, but doable with no communication. ANNND… it’s Matchmade.
Agreed, none of my old friends played destiny so I was always solo and this really irritated me. But I did a lfg and asked for a guide, watched the videos and learned the mechanics and got it done, thanks to the guys patience and willingness to work together. Not everyone is toxic as hell, us lone wolves need to remember that once and awhile.

LFG is SO Toxic! The one night I wasn't on to play with a friend, I watched his stream on discord and the people ARE SO TOXIC! He was cussed at, told he sucked if he missed a jump or shot the wrong picture. Destiny is one of the most toxic games I have ever played.

I understand this, I Have ADHD, and social anxiety, so making friends/interacting with strangers online is difficult for me, every now and again i find a couple people I can play alongside without issue and get stuff done, but often people quit the games I play for various reasons, and then I got to start over again, or quit aswell, I played majority of Destiny 1 solo.

I'm a quite person,I have social anxiety spawning from growing up not talking much and spending years as a shut in. I really do dread talking , especially when having to deal with potentially toxic people. Nowadays I'm developing a pretty bad stutter as well sooo none of that really helps.
Great video and explaining it all..I'm a destiny player since day one, I play solo alot and when I don't I play with my stepson.. My problem is I'm 53 with a spinal cord injury and over the years of heavy meds and other things it's hard for to comprehend what's going on with these puzzles and mechanics..I know I'll never get this mission done to be able to get the class exotic and it sucks..it just hasn't started with this mission..I haven't been able to do a lot of them over the years to get the great gear or weapons..

Man I am right there with you when it comes to not being able to enjoy co-op game play, There is just too much on me to perform well. Thankfully I was able to get dual destiny done, Sad part is I first tried in LFG feature, For hours I was there Got into one with a person And never got past the first part. I went into Discord asked was completely ignored, Was whispered a Discord link with those willing to work with players like myself. He told me Don't try to tell me the names of the symbols unless you know them, You can describe the shapes and colors instead. Everything was going great worked out well together. And than we got to the final part of the mission, I was getting frustrated hands started shacking my gut felt like it was on fire. Simply because the enemies after you kill them just respawn again and again Which alone isn't difficult but communicating on top of dealing with everything else was getting to me. Even I after closed down the game and just went for a walk. Still haven't played since friday, I've done Solo raid encounters, Dungeons, GM strikes, Master Lost sectors, Along with Every exotic mission outside of dual destiny. It's like when you get a migraine and people say it is just a headache it's like yea you never experienced the excruciating pain that never subsides days at a time, Or people that think depression is you just being sad it's like right I know you don't know what you are talking about.
I uninstalled this game because I can't play solo anymore, exotic missions that require a minimum of 2 players made me prefer to wait 2 weeks and start playing The First Descendant
The exotic class item mission should have been matchmaking. As a solo player I know I will never get it unless by some miracle, divine intervention or if Xür sells it. Anyhow, well said & couldn’t agree more w/ what you’ve said. Aloha oi!
Easy fix, fix the glitch in Dual Destiny and purposely reward completions with x 2 drop. Enable class items to drop in overthrow / pale heart (chests) as a reduced drop rate 👌 Solo players are willing to grind it out. Win for Bungie, win for group & solo player-base.
As someone who has autism and social anxiety i really want to do this mission but the fear I’m gonna mess up and ruin someone else’s experience for this mission and we fail and i will feel like a failure about it for a long time even knowing its just a video game

As i said in your last video. Bungie, unfortunately, only pay attention to the top streamers that play the game for hours and hours and of course, with no issues, mentally or physically. Not to the majority of the player base who play for very few hours per week. Bungie simply don't care. But here we are because we are freaking addicted to this game. (At least i am) The LFG is a freaking disaster most of the time and just leaves me not wanting to touch it ever again, but bungie doesn't care and again forces you to deal with all this traumatic toxicity. I don't understand why they don't do it in a similar way that ff14 does their savage raids. Most players don't do them and that's fine because nothing is locked out for you. (Except for amounts and cosmetics? ) Anyway, i honesty never even considered sone of the problems you mentioned. Its like bungie straight up said: "well i am sorry, play another game." If you ever need a somewhat reliable player to play with, let me know.... freaking bungie i swear....

This is my opinion, something as strong as class items should for sure be locked behind a hard activity. But requiring people to play with another person, especially since there are so many casual solo players out there that just want to have fun is ridicolous. Dual Destiny is a extremely fun and unique idea I just feel like class items shouldn't have been locked behind it.
These are the same devs who got death threats from this community over nerfs, so it's kind of like knowingly throwing solos to the wolves by putting the mission behind human rng. The call is coming from inside the house. A lot of those screaming "i use lfg, just use lfg" are probably the ones actively making that experience insufferable for everybody else. Additionally, Accessibility and LFG systems as a whole will never get better if all criticisms of that aspect of this game are shut down with "waaahhh, just use it". We JUST got LFG, so no, it is not perfect, and should be criticized harshly (especially is we are now FORCED to use it). I wish they would just add communication tools in the MISSION DESIGN. Let us ping or send smoke signals or SOMETHING.
Well said man! Thank for speaking up for people like ourselves who have social issues. I put my feedback on the exotic class item mission (and how it should be solo friendly) on the Bungie forum and had some real hate thrown at me to the point where I've had to block the Destiny app until it all blows over. All I asked for was a way to obtain the exotics as a solo player and I was told by numerous people I have a "skill issue"... "Got no friends".. "it's an mmo, go play a single player game".. and more similar. Oh and I even had someone tell me that because I agreed to the terms of service I have no right to complain! I don't want them to remove the mission..I just wanted to be able to play with the new class items as a solo because of how Bungie advertised I thought I would be able to get them just like I can complete the whole campaign solo, so why can't I get these items too. Anyways, you're a legend for covering this on your channel and you've made me feel a lot better about my opinion and myself too. Big love ❤️

I feel for those that dare to say anything about it. X is full of hateful comments towards them. For those such as myself that play solo, it is available as a drop in the Pale Heart. I just came to see the end of it and until Black Myth Wukong drops. I don't think i will play Destiny again. Bungie and the some of the community are as fake as the commendations they want us to give out. I just want to add that i've been told that you must clear it on all characters before they drop. Unfortunate for those solos.

I mean the only reason why I had friends in D1 and the beginning of D2 was because of my nephew's the other ones that were able to make friends and they just kind of brought me into the fold but they don't play destiny anymore so I'm stuck as a solo for the last 7 years
100% agree with everything you said. Way too many toxic people on this game. I've been playing since D1 came out and dont get to do raids, some of the dungeons and now this exotic mission. I work and have a family so cant play when they first drop. By the time I can try it (like next day) everyone has KWTD, be high power level, meta loadouts, dont die, and personally know Chuck Norris or kick (JK for the last one but you catch my drift 😂)and know one willing to teach cause they want to finish it as fast as possible. I have tried the fireteam finder many times and 99% of the time its toxic people for me. Its not like you find good chill people finally beat it and boom you got exotic. It took me 82 times beating duality dungeon to get exotic which is absolutely ridiculous anyway you look at it and now Im on 46 times for the warlords ruin dungeon and still no exotic. I would join someone with last boss checkpoint and didn't need any communication for these 2 thats why I got to do these. Ghosts of the deep I only got to beat 1 time. Now you need all the criterias listed above to play it. Ive been kicked from stuff more times then I can count.
It's also shocking to see that other content creators just say the same just grow a pair and do it. I have no problem that some weapons and other things are behind dungeons and raids I only have problem with the way they handle the exotic class items. But thank you for sharing your story.
This makes me actually sad - because my best friends I’ve made playing this game while pushing my skills further and further . Listen - I agree, it’s very difficult to find a skilled player who also isn’t toxic who also is patient af. I spend an absurd amount of my time helping people in these scenarios. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve helped through full runs of legendary campaigns, dungeons,raids because of disorders like this, or just general lack of knowledge of the game. The fact your autistic and explaining your circumstances, while might not sway the elitists, should help more people understand. I've been an advocate for people with disabilities forever simply because I'm in, or about to be in, one or more of those groups. I suffer pretty bad tinnitus. There are times when the ringing in my head is so loud I can't hear anyone, and on the days it's not as bad it still drives me crazy because I either misinterpret something that was said, or just straight up imagine I heard a something when I didn't. I've also been told I'm on the autism spectrum. I don't know how true that is, I've never been diagnosed, and I've not really had the will to get a diagnoses one way or the other, but I'm generally anti-social. My father served in the air force, so growing up I didn't really have a stable childhood. I was constantly moving states and schools, so I never had a chance to know another person besides my family for more than a year. As a result, I just never really learned to connect with other people. When I did finally get to settle down, well, you know how kids are. Got bullied alot in school, so even after I could form a connection, I never bothered. Even today at the ripe age of 35, I don't really have "friends" persay. I know people, but I tend to view it more of an acquaintance situation, not an actual friendship. We don't want to change the mission. We just want a chance. Is that so difficult to understand? I'd gladly take the 2% drop chance in chests if I was given a solo mission that didn't drop the exotic class items but only unlocked the ability to find those items in the chests. You guys get to keep your 100% drop chance in a mission you can speedrun in 10 minutes, while the solo people can grind out chests at 2%.
Thank you for telling it how it is you hit it right the nail on its head I had the same thing cuz all my friends left when they didn't bring trials back then when the sun set it all the weapons they left for good so I lost my whole clan and I don't feel comfortable playing with new people and trying to start another clan thank you for telling the truth
I can fully understand what you go through. As a fellow solo player with bad anxiety as well as autistic children, I am willing to talk to you and be here for you because I would want my kids to have someone there for them.
It’s nice to find another content creator who’s affected by autism, I don’t mean that in a bad way either. I, myself, have autism. Only, it’s not as severe, I manage to keep a very normal lifestyle. The only negatives I have is my inability to navigate my emotions, and my social awkwardness. I’m sorry, Easy, that you have to deal with the sensory overload issues. I hope you have a good time outside of Destiny. Because we all know that in Destiny, we’re only going to rage or dread the current state of the game.
My brother has autism also, he has sensory overload and he’s a lot like you. I support everything that has to deal with autistic people. My brother was also let go from his jobs as well because they wouldn’t adjust to his needs. I also been on destiny since day one.
I done 3 runs of Duel Destiny earlier, only to get the exotic on each class so I can then solo farm the class items from the chests in the Pale Heart. I will never do Duel Destiny again. It took so much energy out of me to even try and coordinate with someone from LFG and to try and not fuck to mess up a mechanic. I would much prefer a very difficult solo mission for these exotics.
I dont normally post or anything. But as a player who doesn't have much issue using lfg, it can be a very toxic experience. I've had more bad than good experiences. Those who contribute or say "get good" and "get out in your comfort zone" are the same toxic players that make destiny community trash. This should have had multiple ways to obtain. Solo players are just as much a player as any other in destiny. But bungie really fucked things up this time. And this new bungie, since the old cats moved on, are the reason for all this hate and toxic. They promote that shit
I remember about 3 years ago there was a list of what game had the most toxic player base. Destiny 2 was in the top 3 everyone was so shocked this situation just proves it even more😂

Thanks bro, everybody who's not addressing this like you (Also Mr. Gaming Counselor, he also made a great video) just fell from grace from me. The Self-centeredness, selfishness and tone deaf is astonishing. Bungie loves to gloat over the fact they are super inclusive but this demonstrate that they are pure talk. What I've noticed on LFG/Fireteam Finder, there are a lot players with different disabilities. I have always jumped in on those groups and help them with GM's, you can find visually impaired, deaf, mute, etc on the tags of the group and THEN Bungie does this to this mission. I'm gonna leave the comment of a mute gamer girl who expressed her experience so far with D2 and the reason as to why she solo plays (this from another video and omitting her nickname for obvious reasons): Solo player-ish Reasons why: 1) Community toxicity. Speedrunners and Clear Farmers I just won't run endgame stuff with anymore. I've yet to run a raid with a speedrunner/clear farmer that didn't completely fuck up my day. 2) Loot. This isn't a point about the loot being bad. It's phenomenal. When I can actually get some. My RNG is beyond fucked at this point. I'll spare you the details, but tl;dr: 1 gun per raid and 1 every 3-5 dungeons is deeply frustrating. Also, why does 80% of everything roll with a Reload Speed Masterwork? 3.) I'm mute. I can't speak. Most teams won't have me, and most of those that will spend the entire time being abusive, disrespectful, arseholes to me. Hundreds of raid clears, day 1s, titles, it's all meaningless. "Get a mic, bro." Thanks. A microphone is clearly going to fix my dysfunctional larynx. 4) There have been so many prior bad experiences, from clans run like destructive high control groups, to nightmare LFGs, to harassment, abuse, racism, sexism, death threats, r*pe threats, people sending me unsolicited dick pics, creepers, obnoxious sex pests, griefers, trolls, throwers, jackasses, disrespectful douchebags, flat earthers, general time vampires, etc. that it's just not worth it anymore. I'm playing this game to have fun, not to get treated like shit. 5) All my friends quit. Finding new ones just isn't worth the abuse. But let's applaud Bungie for purposely designing a mission that clearly ostracizes players with real life struggles, I mean they have it rough irl why make it harder here too?

Coming from someone who has done lfg a lot because of me being a solo player I don't find this mission too difficult it is just the dread of talking to a complete stranger hoping that they wont be toxic. If they made it a timed mission and took out the comm heavy mechanics and just made the mission match made than it probably wouldn't be as bad. I ran it once with a friend and twice with 2 different randoms and both randoms do the mission slightly different from each other so not having a definitive way of completing the mission also makes the mission comms hard. But I don't have the same anxiety problems others do because mine isn't the severe or crippling kind that makes doing this kind of mission impossible. I hope they either make it so you can buy the exotic class item from Rahool or that they increase the drop chances from Pale Heart chests because I only have gotten mine from the mission itself. And I am not looking forward to farming that 1 mission 60+ times just to get the roll I want.
Thank you so much for posting this video. This side of destiny needs to be talked about more. I'm 54 yrs old and I've been a gamer since the days of zx spectrums and c64. I love destiny to bits, but like so many other players watching this video, I struggle with connecting with similar people to get these coop missions in the bag. This isn't just a game for the pros and streamers ,it's a game for all...we all paid the money for the game right !! . I totally understand why bungie made the dual destiny mission a coop mission....to try and get people to play together, but for some of us with the disabilities you talk about are left out. Please Bungie...make these missions more accessible to those who struggle with social anxiety....we love your game to.

Thankyou for this, I have this exact thing and am also autistic and you talk about what the effects are afterwards with burnout. I got to the part of the quest (plus the focus coop mode) and all that positivity about TFS which i soloed the legendary campaign and loved, being forced into a 2 person situation (hard enough when it’s more but at least it’s less intense) to get necessary drops just really tainted the excitement over the release for me
They made this season a little more hard for many different reasons and if you look at it, it’s almost like a Boot Camp for players to learn mechanics and other things that are used in raids. Also, it put you in situations that you’re not used to and in return will eventually make you a better player, not everyone that plays destiny deserves to have every bit of the loot that the game offers that would mean that all of the rare emblems and all of the raid weapons would be shared across the community. It takes effort to get some things in Destiny, that’s what makes this game playable to most if you jump on a game and immediately was able to acquire any weapon you wanted the game no longer has any replay value not only would it be stupid for the company to do something like that it would pull a majority of the players that have been playing since Destiny one away I mean, think about it if anyone in this comment section remembers getting a gjallahorn to drop completing a raid and getting the raid gear that you finally wanted Required a lot of effort and time the problem with a lot of people that play destiny think because they pay for the content they are entitled to everything in the game that is untrue. But everyone has the ability to get better to learn to spend time and then once you get it and you finally accomplish it it’s more meaningful, which creates a more meaningful gameplay experience. Here’s another way to look at it not everyone in the destiny community will ever go flawless, but there is loot that you can acquire by going flawless that you cannot acquire anywhere else. Same goes for pve content

Yeah I'm mostly a Solo player but when I'm in group content, assuming not everybody in the fireteam needs to be on puzzle duty I am always one of the designated Ad clearers.

The mission is very easily farmable by anyone invested enough into the game to have a valid opinion on the issue.

They're not raids but they have lots of platforming and navigating while having hefty gun battles with barely finishing with time left. Its a speed run, that's all. Quite frankly these puzzles were easy. Its match the symbol and find the common number. Took me 5 tries but we did it.
I used to stutter like a madman and i still do sometimes - I experience the same as you talk about! - English is not my first language, so that even builts on top of it. Would love a community, that values this - because this can also help people built and grow through it and get better in all aspects of their life!

I have had mostly positive interactions in the destiny community until i spoke up and said i had an issue with this mission. There are a lot of people who only want to see their side of the situation. Like telling a fresh mute played is his fault because he doesn't have a keyboard on his ps5. Bungie should see your video so they can see how this is affecting the disabled community. Myself i an not visually or auditory disabled but can see how it affects people with disabilities. With Sony and xbox both touting what they are doing with accessibility, abs this is a slap in the face of those with disabilities
I managed to complete the mission once, but it drained me so much that I don't want to do it again. The class items I have right now are horrible. I was just going to not worry about it and hope to get it from a chest in the Pale Heart. I decided this would be my first time doing a raid, but I got kicked out of a Discord server and several LFG groups specifically because I played as a Warlock. They said I wouldn't have enough DPS unless I had a specific exotic class item role, or I could switch to a Hunter and use Celestial and Golden Gun. Multiple groups said this, so now I've decided to just never raid. I'm not going to grind a mission over for hours, days, or weeks-who knows how long-until I get the god roll drop, just so I can do a raid.
I played the mission 1 time n just farmed the class item in Pale heart the mission low key made me cut the game off so I understand how some people don’t like it

Honestly D2 is a fun game whether through the pros and cons and funny enough I do agree with the fact of LFGs being toxic and people not having empathy in an activity that could be solved if simply they'd be willing to help. It is hard to deal with LFGs let alone find the right one. I do see the point of how solo players or even people who are social distant in a game can be. It's easier said than done and I do hope that people are willing at some point in time to open their eyes and see that not everyone is the same.

I think they will eventually hopefully let solo players just farm chests and not lock it behind this mission, because this backlash is not going to stop. I can't do the duo mission, I haven't even got headphones mic so I'm screwed. A really really bad decision by Bungie.

I was in a large successful guild years ago and enjoyed raiding. We ran off DKP and I joined every raid.
I went on holidays for two weeks, came back, got an item drop with my dkp and had 1/4 of the guild send me hate messages because they thought I shouldn't have got the item because I went on holidays, despite having the DKP for it (server first drop)
I left after a couple of months due to being made an outsider and having people I once thought were friends ignore me.
I now rarely ever join guilds or play with other people. I was fine with playing Destiny 2 mostly solo except some strikes and even a dungeon or two now and then. It takes me 10 - 20 minutes of anxiety to join, and then I need a breather between games.
I solo'd up to the new quest, did it all by myself. Got the quest flag and saw that it needed two players. I did a quick search, saw that I needed to communicate directly and not only that, it was timed.
After trying a couple of times, I've since quit. I wont damage my mental health any more. They should have said it was a two player mission that required communication.
Many people don't care and that's fine. But for some people to attack others for having issues about playing with others is deplorable.

I work, 2 teenage boys, and 5 month old baby, it’s impossible to do anything with other players on destiny. Due to time constraints or start and stopping anything other than solo I can’t do. Timed missions are out the window. I love this video and thank you for addressing it.

Haven't seen you first video, but this one randomly popped up. Excellent work. I actually think Bungie has a massive toxicity problem. I quit Pantheon and handed in my quests last season. Not because I was kicked or abused, but I couldn't stand how other players were treated. Or players starting a LFG group turning up, saying nothing, guiding no one, and leaving stating ""It's never going to happen". There should be a way of flagging toxicity, which could in effect bias say an RnG bias in game. Not banned, just bring them Karma. Not sure how enforceable and fair that would be but F me. Every negative thing you said about SOME players attitudes is bang on. Well done for calling out the obvious. And yes, Bungie has mislead and mistreated the solo community
TFS campaign was amazing and made very accessible to solo players, loved it. But this exotic mission on top of the changes to exotic mission rotator and dungeons have ruined the end game so experience. I have never transfered from excitement to pure frustration faster than this.

saddest thing is Bungie promotes mental health and inclusion, accessibility , does charities and then dumps something like this on us without any comment or their viewpoint, I was genuinely excited for this new class item system, Did everything up to the point when i saw the mission banner, asking me to be in a team of 2, I never felt so let down and empty from a game before, i really like and spend my time years in. It really ate up a lot of my energy and I felt like not playing destiny or any game. Seeing streamers i like not understand is though. I get they dont have the issues in such extent as others and cant not see the point of view.

I have autism too and was excited for the exotic class items until I found out you can't do it solo and am extremely disappointed. I am not even going to try LFG, like you, it produces a lot of anxiety for me.

This is exactly how I feel and I have mental health issues and tried joined groups and been called thick and stupid cause my issues and hard to explain when ppl don’t understand. I enjoyed destiny but I wish I was told that need 2 players for exotic class items. I wish there was a discord channel for ppl like us. No toxic behaviour just ppl that wanna play and enjoy and take the time to be patient. I would rather spend 2 hours on a mission then be put down.

Ive never been diagnosed, and at my age im pretty sure im past the point where it would make sense to get diagnosed. Thank you so much for this. People have been so toxic about this it's absurd. The arrogant, snobbish, cruel attitude by so many people the past couple days has only reinforced the reason so many of us solo in this game. I have real life friends who play, but they are busy and we often can't match up play times so I'm solo a majority of the time. I've tried to LFG for this mission the past couple days, and honestly am close to uninstalling the game because I've lost so much respect for the destiny community as whole because 90% of the LFG experience has been absolutely toxic. I'm convinced most of them are in LFG because nobody will play with them again after seeing their attitude.
I had a really good experience with the mission through lfg a couple times. If you're not using discord lfg do that. Mention being chill and I think it can totally be a good experience.
Even I'm not super social but when it comes to getting a mission done just suck it up and talk to a person. There's no way it's that bad.

As someone that has week one’d every raid, dungeon, got godslayer in a week and so much more all with lfg I wanna say you’re absolutely right. It is not ok for people to think just because it worked for them it will work for others. And yes bungie dropped the ball on forcing people to play together, I’m happy that’s the main option but it should not be the only option.
You are the first You tube content creator to talk about the Exotic class item issue rather than gloss over it and that is why you got my sub. On Steam , 7% of destiny 2 players have the achievement for Grandmaster Nightfall completion which suggests that over 90% of destiny 2 players have said "No Thanks" to difficult non-matchmade endgame activity. Assuming this is reflected on console as well, there is a perfect storm coming for Destiny 2's population .

If these were drops from the raid I could understand as a solo player not getting these cause I understand that a raid is much more time consuming and more difficult to do than a single mission. Plus exotic missions in the past have all been able to be completed solo, even dungeons can be soloed, so my question is why was this mission made this way for something that was heavily marketed for this expansion?

Bungie has gone full hardcore with final shape. I've been playing destiny for over 5 years. I don't play pvp. I have done all the raids but have not ever really enjoyed them.
I won't even attempt the new raid as its well known that it is destiny's hardest raid yet.
I have attempted dual but my mic doesn't work for some reason. It was a horrible experience and I had to quit.
The truth is lots of the player base do not like using microphones or do not own microphones.
Also, don't forget a large part of the destiny community don't speak English as their first language and reading English comments is easier than speaking it.
Don't get too down about toxic elitists. They are predominantly adolescent boys , who need to feel that they are better than others at something. Sad but true.
Thank you for being a voice for us. Prismatic was the main reason I purchased the expansion to only find out it’s locked behind a mini raid. I rarely do raids due to the lack of fireteam and time. I've told people over and over again and they just don't seem to get. It's not about the mission or how hard it is or anything like that. It's that when you have very important content behind a team oriented objective it closes off half the community. There are so many people with disabilities, social anxietys, or time for that but feel locked out now because we can't do it.
I agree with a lot of your points made in both videos. I’ve been a solo player since D1. Anytime a raid or team required events happen I just skip it. I really hope they at least change it to accommodate the solo players even if it would take longer and be harder.
I can completely understand how you feel with the social anxiety especially when your wanting to learn a new raid/dungeon or even a mission as I suffer from social anxiety and its mentally and physically draining more so when meeting new people and its a uphill battle inside and outside gaming. Whenever i put up in lfg i always say willing to teach new players as i have alot of patience and never get pissed with anyone if they don't know something. Dude you did a fantastic job here putting in simple terms for people to understand.
Its truly ironic and disturbing that some people who have multitudes of free time on their hands to play the game all day get butt hurt about having to patiently work with struggling players who just wanna dip their toes in during the limited available time they have. I work two full time jobs currently and I don't even consider playing any content like raids or dungeons that I know are going to require committing a massive amount of time, not because I don't think it could be time well-spent, but because I would feel awful if I became the reason the rest of the team felt they wasted theirs. The last thing I purchased from bungie was the discounted shadowkeep expansion during lightfall, before that I got beyond light, and I bought the game with forsaken. I played d1 and loved it, was super stoked for d2 when I played the free beta, but had to wait years to actually get the game just because I'm poor. Of course I buy the game for about 50 bucks which took me a while to save, and a couple years later they make it free... so im not surprised that there's a lot of toxicity in the community, I just do my thing and try to enjoy as much out of the total 100+ bucks I spent on the experience. Still have skyrim special edition I bought for 20 bucks on the Playstation store, and dark souls I bought for 30, these will give me many years of playable content long after destiny's servers make like trees and leave us, for not a dollar more. Thats a dam good deal.

This is my first time commenting on any video I have watched on TH-cam. What you said about social anxiety, mental health disorders, and the struggles we have to try and overcome, is absolutely on point. We appreciate you for trying to bring this to the attention of the D2 community considering the amount of backlash and b.s you will receive for it. There is too much criticizing and dismissing people for how they are or what they believe , and not enough trying to have an understanding of why a person is they way they are or what they believe. We should create a community of people that suffer from these disorders and raid together, i'm sure it would be very interesting and awkward lol.

You're on the mark on this my friend....when I found out I can't get class items I stopped caring about trying to get a build to look for a clan or a team....you need to be the best to get in a group or you get kicked...but can't get to that level without a group....what can you do? Also what is next...story....supers...what is the next thing that will be LFG...as someone who played wow as a tank LFG is rolling with disadvantages and you need to get a natural 20...it can happen but only one thing needs to go wrong and it could be in the last room on the last minute.
Main thing with this mission… if it was an experience that opened up after completing excision, and it was for a unique legendary weapon with a chance to get an exclusive shader and hoverboard it would be lauded as an epic win. The mistake? Putting THE hype item behind this mission. The exotic class item. They could even do guaranteed drops of the class item in there too… as long as there was another way to get it. The Enigma vex time trial would have been one alternative. Still hard, but doable with no communication. ANNND… it’s Matchmade.

Agreed, none of my old friends played destiny so I was always solo and this really irritated me. But I did a lfg and asked for a guide, watched the videos and learned the mechanics and got it done, thanks to the guys patience and willingness to work together. Not everyone is toxic as hell, us lone wolves need to remember that once and awhile.

LFG is SO Toxic! The one night I wasn't on to play with a friend, I watched his stream on discord and the people ARE SO TOXIC! He was cussed at, told he sucked if he missed a jump or shot the wrong picture. Destiny is one of the most toxic games I have ever played.

Dual Destiny is a great mission, but you should be able to do it solo.

I understand this, I Have ADHD, and social anxiety, so making friends/interacting with strangers online is difficult for me, every now and again i find a couple people I can play alongside without issue and get stuff done, but often people quit the games I play for various reasons, and then I got to start over again, or quit aswell, I played majority of Destiny 1 solo.

I'm a quite person,I have social anxiety spawning from growing up not talking much and spending years as a shut in. I really do dread talking , especially when having to deal with potentially toxic people. Nowadays I'm developing a pretty bad stutter as well sooo none of that really helps.

Great video and explaining it all..I'm a destiny player since day one, I play solo alot and when I don't I play with my stepson.. My problem is I'm 53 with a spinal cord injury and over the years of heavy meds and other things it's hard for to comprehend what's going on with these puzzles and mechanics..I know I'll never get this mission done to be able to get the class exotic and it sucks..it just hasn't started with this mission..I haven't been able to do a lot of them over the years to get the great gear or weapons..

Man I am right there with you when it comes to not being able to enjoy co-op game play, There is just too much on me to perform well. Thankfully I was able to get dual destiny done, Sad part is I first tried in LFG feature, For hours I was there Got into one with a person And never got past the first part. I went into Discord asked was completely ignored, Was whispered a Discord link with those willing to work with players like myself. He told me Don't try to tell me the names of the symbols unless you know them, You can describe the shapes and colors instead. Everything was going great worked out well together. And than we got to the final part of the mission, I was getting frustrated hands started shacking my gut felt like it was on fire. Simply because the enemies after you kill them just respawn again and again Which alone isn't difficult but communicating on top of dealing with everything else was getting to me. Even I after closed down the game and just went for a walk. Still haven't played since friday, I've done Solo raid encounters, Dungeons, GM strikes, Master Lost sectors, Along with Every exotic mission outside of dual destiny.
It's like when you get a migraine and people say it is just a headache it's like yea you never experienced the excruciating pain that never subsides days at a time, Or people that think depression is you just being sad it's like right I know you don't know what you are talking about.
I uninstalled this game because I can't play solo anymore, exotic missions that require a minimum of 2 players made me prefer to wait 2 weeks and start playing The First Descendant

Easy fix, fix the glitch in Dual Destiny and purposely reward completions with x 2 drop. Enable class items to drop in overthrow / pale heart (chests) as a reduced drop rate 👌 Solo players are willing to grind it out. Win for Bungie, win for group & solo player-base.
As someone who has autism and social anxiety i really want to do this mission but the fear I’m gonna mess up and ruin someone else’s experience for this mission and we fail and i will feel like a failure about it for a long time even knowing its just a video game

As i said in your last video. Bungie, unfortunately, only pay attention to the top streamers that play the game for hours and hours and of course, with no issues, mentally or physically.
Not to the majority of the player base who play for very few hours per week. Bungie simply don't care. But here we are because we are freaking addicted to this game. (At least i am)
The LFG is a freaking disaster most of the time and just leaves me not wanting to touch it ever again, but bungie doesn't care and again forces you to deal with all this traumatic toxicity.
I don't understand why they don't do it in a similar way that ff14 does their savage raids. Most players don't do them and that's fine because nothing is locked out for you. (Except for amounts and cosmetics? )

This is my opinion, something as strong as class items should for sure be locked behind a hard activity. But requiring people to play with another person, especially since there are so many casual solo players out there that just want to have fun is ridicolous. Dual Destiny is a extremely fun and unique idea I just feel like class items shouldn't have been locked behind it.
These are the same devs who got death threats from this community over nerfs, so it's kind of like knowingly throwing solos to the wolves by putting the mission behind human rng. The call is coming from inside the house. A lot of those screaming "i use lfg, just use lfg" are probably the ones actively making that experience insufferable for everybody else.
Additionally, Accessibility and LFG systems as a whole will never get better if all criticisms of that aspect of this game are shut down with "waaahhh, just use it". We JUST got LFG, so no, it is not perfect, and should be criticized harshly (especially is we are now FORCED to use it).
I wish they would just add communication tools in the MISSION DESIGN. Let us ping or send smoke signals or SOMETHING.

I put my feedback on the exotic class item mission (and how it should be solo friendly) on the Bungie forum and had some real hate thrown at me to the point where I've had to block the Destiny app until it all blows over.
All I asked for was a way to obtain the exotics as a solo player and I was told by numerous people I have a "skill issue"... "Got no friends".. "it's an mmo, go play a single player game".. and more similar. Oh and I even had someone tell me that because I agreed to the terms of service I have no right to complain!
I don't want them to remove the mission..I just wanted to be able to play with the new class items as a solo because of how Bungie advertised I thought I would be able to get them just like I can complete the whole campaign solo, so why can't I get these items too.

I feel for those that dare to say anything about it. X is full of hateful comments towards them. For those such as myself that play solo, it is available as a drop in the Pale Heart. I just came to see the end of it and until Black Myth Wukong drops. I don't think i will play Destiny again. Bungie and the some of the community are as fake as the commendations they want us to give out.
I just want to add that i've been told that you must clear it on all characters before they drop. Unfortunate for those solos.

I mean the only reason why I had friends in D1 and the beginning of D2 was because of my nephew's the other ones that were able to make friends and they just kind of brought me into the fold but they don't play destiny anymore so I'm stuck as a solo for the last 7 years

100% agree with everything you said. Way too many toxic people on this game. I've been playing since D1 came out and dont get to do raids, some of the dungeons and now this exotic mission. I work and have a family so cant play when they first drop. By the time I can try it (like next day) everyone has KWTD, be high power level, meta loadouts, dont die, and personally know Chuck Norris or kick (JK for the last one but you catch my drift 😂)and know one willing to teach cause they want to finish it as fast as possible. I have tried the fireteam finder many times and 99% of the time its toxic people for me. Its not like you find good chill people finally beat it and boom you got exotic. It took me 82 times beating duality dungeon to get exotic which is absolutely ridiculous anyway you look at it and now Im on 46 times for the warlords ruin dungeon and still no exotic. I would join someone with last boss checkpoint and didn't need any communication for these 2 thats why I got to do these. Ghosts of the deep I only got to beat 1 time. Now you need all the criterias listed above to play it. Ive been kicked from stuff more times then I can count.
It's also shocking to see that other content creators just say the same just grow a pair and do it. I have no problem that some weapons and other things are behind dungeons and raids I only have problem with the way they handle the exotic class items. But thank you for sharing your story.
This makes me actually sad - because my best friends I’ve made playing this game while pushing my skills further and further . Listen - I agree, it’s very difficult to find a skilled player who also isn’t toxic who also is patient af. I spend an absurd amount of my time helping people in these scenarios. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve helped through full runs of legendary campaigns, dungeons,raids because of disorders like this, or just general lack of knowledge of the game. If you ever want someone to rely on who won’t make you feel that way you are always welcome in my group and/or happy to duo anything in this game with you.

The fact your autistic and explaining your circumstances, while might not sway the elitists, should help more people understand. I've been an advocate for people with disabilities forever simply because I'm in, or about to be in, one or more of those groups. I suffer pretty bad tinnitus. There are times when the ringing in my head is so loud I can't hear anyone, and on the days it's not as bad it still drives me crazy because I either misinterpret something that was said, or just straight up imagine I heard a something when I didn't. I've also been told I'm on the autism spectrum. I don't know how true that is, I've never been diagnosed, and I've not really had the will to get a diagnoses one way or the other, but I'm generally anti-social. My father served in the air force, so growing up I didn't really have a stable childhood. I was constantly moving states and schools, so I never had a chance to know another person besides my family for more than a year. As a result, I just never really learned to connect with other people. When I did finally get to settle down, well, you know how kids are. Got bullied alot in school, so even after I could form a connection, I never bothered. Even today at the ripe age of 35, I don't really have "friends" persay. I know people, but I tend to view it more of an acquaintance situation, not an actual friendship.
We don't want to change the mission. We just want a chance. Is that so difficult to understand? I'd gladly take the 2% drop chance in chests if I was given a solo mission that didn't drop the exotic class items but only unlocked the ability to find those items in the chests. You guys get to keep your 100% drop chance in a mission you can speedrun in 10 minutes, while the solo people can grind out chests at 2%.

It’s nice to find another content creator who’s affected by autism, I don’t mean that in a bad way either. I, myself, have autism. Only, it’s not as severe, I manage to keep a very normal lifestyle. The only negatives I have is my inability to navigate my emotions, and my social awkwardness.

My brother has autism also, he has sensory overload and he’s a lot like you. I support everything that has to deal with autistic people. My brother was also let go from his jobs as well because they wouldn’t adjust to his needs. I also been on destiny since day one.
I done 3 runs of Duel Destiny earlier, only to get the exotic on each class so I can then solo farm the class items from the chests in the Pale Heart. I will never do Duel Destiny again. It took so much energy out of me to even try and coordinate with someone from LFG and to try and not fuck to mess up a mechanic. I would much prefer a very difficult solo mission for these exotics.

The Self-centeredness, selfishness and tone deaf is astonishing. Bungie loves to gloat over the fact they are super inclusive but this demonstrate that they are pure talk. What I've noticed on LFG/Fireteam Finder, there are a lot players with different disabilities. I have always jumped in on those groups and help them with GM's, you can find visually impaired, deaf, mute, etc on the tags of the group and THEN Bungie does this to this mission.
I'm gonna leave the comment of a mute gamer girl who expressed her experience so far with D2 and the reason as to why she solo plays (this from another video and omitting her nickname for obvious reasons):

Reasons why:
1) Community toxicity. Speedrunners and Clear Farmers I just won't run endgame stuff with anymore. I've yet to run a raid with a speedrunner/clear farmer that didn't completely fuck up my day.
2) Loot. This isn't a point about the loot being bad. It's phenomenal. When I can actually get some. My RNG is beyond fucked at this point. I'll spare you the details, but tl;dr: 1 gun per raid and 1 every 3-5 dungeons is deeply frustrating. Also, why does 80% of everything roll with a Reload Speed Masterwork?
3.) I'm mute. I can't speak. Most teams won't have me, and most of those that will spend the entire time being abusive, disrespectful, arseholes to me. Hundreds of raid clears, day 1s, titles, it's all meaningless. "Get a mic, bro." Thanks. A microphone is clearly going to fix my dysfunctional larynx.
4) There have been so many prior bad experiences, from clans run like destructive high control groups, to nightmare LFGs, to harassment, abuse, racism, sexism, death threats, r*pe threats, people sending me unsolicited dick pics, creepers, obnoxious sex pests, griefers, trolls, throwers, jackasses, disrespectful douchebags, flat earthers, general time vampires, etc. that it's just not worth it anymore. I'm playing this game to have fun, not to get treated like shit.
5) All my friends quit. Finding new ones just isn't worth the abuse.
But let's applaud Bungie for purposely designing a mission that clearly ostracizes players with real life struggles, I mean they have it rough irl why make it harder here too?

Coming from someone who has done lfg a lot because of me being a solo player I don't find this mission too difficult it is just the dread of talking to a complete stranger hoping that they wont be toxic. If they made it a timed mission and took out the comm heavy mechanics and just made the mission match made than it probably wouldn't be as bad. I ran it once with a friend and twice with 2 different randoms and both randoms do the mission slightly different from each other so not having a definitive way of completing the mission also makes the mission comms hard. But I don't have the same anxiety problems others do because mine isn't the severe or crippling kind that makes doing this kind of mission impossible. I hope they either make it so you can buy the exotic class item from Rahool or that they increase the drop chances from Pale Heart chests because I only have gotten mine from the mission itself. And I am not looking forward to farming that 1 mission 60+ times just to get the roll I want.

I love destiny to bits, but like so many other players watching this video, I struggle with connecting with similar people to get these coop missions in the bag. This isn't just a game for the pros and streamers ,it's a game for all...we all paid the money for the game right !! . I totally understand why bungie made the dual destiny mission a coop mission....to try and get people to play together, but for some of us with the disabilities you talk about are left out. Please Bungie...make these missions more accessible to those who struggle with social anxiety....we love your game to.

Thankyou for this, I have this exact thing and am also autistic and you talk about what the effects are afterwards with burnout. I got to the part of the quest (plus the focus coop mode) and all that positivity about TFS which i soloed the legendary campaign and loved, being forced into a 2 person situation (hard enough when it’s more but at least it’s less intense) to get necessary drops just really tainted the excitement over the release for me
They made this season a little more hard for many different reasons and if you look at it, it’s almost like a Boot Camp for players to learn mechanics and other things that are used in raids. Also, it put you in situations that you’re not used to and in return will eventually make you a better player, not everyone that plays destiny deserves to have every bit of the loot that the game offers that would mean that all of the rare emblems and all of the raid weapons would be shared across the community. It takes effort to get some things in Destiny, that’s what makes this game playable to most if you jump on a game and immediately was able to acquire any weapon you wanted the game no longer has any replay value not only would it be stupid for the company to do something like that it would pull a majority of the players that have been playing since Destiny one away I mean, think about it if anyone in this comment section remembers getting a gjallahorn to drop completing a raid and getting the raid gear that you finally wanted Required a lot of effort and time the problem with a lot of people that play destiny think because they pay for the content they are entitled to everything in the game that is untrue. But everyone has the ability to get better to learn to spend time and then once you get it and you finally accomplish it it’s more meaningful, which creates a more meaningful gameplay experience. Here’s another way to look at it not everyone in the destiny community will ever go flawless, but there is loot that you can acquire by going flawless that you cannot acquire anywhere else. Same goes for pve content

Yeah I can't believe this exotic mission is timed, and you gotta do all of this platforming & puzzle solving, etc. 🤦🏻♀️😒 This aint a f*cking raid. lol I could maybe see the mission being this hard IF folks at least could take their time w/it if they needed to. But the timers are crazy.
Yeah I'm mostly a Solo player but when I'm in group content, assuming not everybody in the fireteam needs to be on puzzle duty I am always one of the designated Ad clearers.
everyone in this thread has a fucking skill issue, the timer is lenient and the puzzles are easy, get good
@@KabbalahSherry "This ain't a fucking raid lol" You are literally telling Bungie what their content is. I hate to tell you this but they made it and they get to decide how hard or easy it is. The mission is very easily farmable by anyone invested enough into the game to have a valid opinion on the issue.
@@KabbalahSherryneither was whisper and zero hour and you do those for guns. They're not raids but they have lots of platforming and navigating while having hefty gun battles with barely finishing with time left. Its a speed run, that's all.
Quite frankly these puzzles were easy. Its match the symbol and find the common number. Took me 5 tries but we did it.
I used to stutter like a madman and i still do sometimes - I experience the same as you talk about! - English is not my first language, so that even builts on top of it.
Would love a community, that values this - because this can also help people built and grow through it and get better in all aspects of their life!
@easynow1337 thank you for bringing into the light the issues many people are feeling. I have had mostly positive interactions in the destiny community until i spoke up and said i had an issue with this mission. There are a lot of people who only want to see their side of the situation. Like telling a fresh mute played is his fault because he doesn't have a keyboard on his ps5. Bungie should see your video so they can see how this is affecting the disabled community. Myself i an not visually or auditory disabled but can see how it affects people with disabilities. With Sony and xbox both touting what they are doing with accessibility, abs this is a slap in the face of those with disabilities

I managed to complete the mission once, but it drained me so much that I don't want to do it again. The class items I have right now are horrible. I was just going to not worry about it and hope to get it from a chest in the Pale Heart. I decided this would be my first time doing a raid, but I got kicked out of a Discord server and several LFG groups specifically because I played as a Warlock. They said I wouldn't have enough DPS unless I had a specific exotic class item role, or I could switch to a Hunter and use Celestial and Golden Gun. Multiple groups said this, so now I've decided to just never raid. I'm not going to grind a mission over for hours, days, or weeks-who knows how long-until I get the god roll drop, just so I can do a raid.
I played the mission 1 time n just farmed the class item in Pale heart the mission low key made me cut the game off so I understand how some people don’t like it
