Fun extension here - if you have a fishroom in a garage or shed, instead of draining water change water out, pump it into a barrel then use that to water your garden/yard. The nitrates will fertilize it, and save you money as you don't need more water to water your yard.
Cracking video mate, considering an Insulated garden office and moving my tanks out there too that bedrooms getting full, has carpet and is upstairs! 😂
I have my fish room in my garage, did all the insulation as well, they are 3 thanks 90 Gallon, 150 and 110, in the center the sump they will be two more tanks under the 90 and 110. You gave me an idea, I see that you don't run a Protein skimmer and using the sump as another display tank. I use the skimmer to remove the bio pellets film, I hate water changes.
Here's some tips for creating a great fishroom!

Thanks, sounds like a good idea 👍
Your electric bill must be massive. You don’t have enough insulation. You need 100 mil minimum

No I find skimmers to be a waste of time for the things I keep.
How you top-off the water that evaporates? having the aquariums covered helps but they don't do all the work 🙁
I have an auto top up valve attached to my ro system which I put in my sump
