Brilliant !!! Andrew, you absolutely need your own cooking show televized, everyone on planet earth needs to see you doing your thing in the kitchen, I love the little bits of sarcasm thrown in and the chill way you cook, every recipe you guys make looks fab, I watch loads of You tubers cooking but very rarely ever make the recipes they show however, I do make stuff that you guys show and it's always great, well done on another brill video xx
🙏🏾 how awesome would that be, right!? i couldnt imagine. im just happy i have this TH-cam community and really appreciate you all spending your time tuning in. thanks a ton for the kind words. this is what keeps me going. 🙌🏾 🤗
I was looking for an Asian recipe for my vegetarian daughter's 18th bday since that's her fave. Of course, I had to search your site first. This Mongolian beef was a total hit! I made the batch with the whole 8 oz pkg of soy curls so she would have leftovers (yes, that was the first thing she asked!). I only made 2 changes. I used just 1/4 cup brown sugar. It was plenty to sweeten the sauce a little. I also added partially steamed broccoli florets into the sauce before the soy curls went in. Wonderful and better than take out! Thank you!!!
I have never tried Mongolian beef but these sound spectacular. I will be trying one (or both) of these out FOR SURE! I love making crispy tofu with corn/potato starch and coating it with a sticky teriyaki sauce but I have never used this technique for soy curls so I think it might be a great one to test next time! . Anyways, thank you for your sense of humor - it made my day! Have a great week ahead!
Love it!!! I can’t wait to try these recipes! 🤤 I am still very new to the Vegan lifestyle and I’ve tried several of your recipes already and I gotta share that Every! One!Is!Delicious! 🤩 Keep Inspiring Us!
Will watch again, because this was too fun! I'll make the one with noodles pretty soon, because I love a saucy noodle and I seem to have stockpiled bee'f in the freezer. Expecting shortages, I guess. Thanks for posting, you wonderful, creative people! : )
I made the first recipe you have here (Mongolian beef with Soy curls). This is the BEST “Mongolian beef” that I have ever eaten in my life! My husband loved it too! I’m so happy I found your recipe. Thank you!
Been following your channel for a little while now. First time trying out a full recipe! Both were absolutely delicious! My daughter and my husband loved them both!
Oh my goodness. I know I'm late to the game, but I just made this for dinner and good lawd!!! It's so delicious. Thank you so much for this recipe, it's a keeper.
Great content and very funny. You've got a new subscriber from Canada. I'm the cook in the house and my wife is always looking for a good vegan stroganoff and I think the second recipe will do just fine. Thanks and cheers!
Oh my gosh enjoyed this video so much!! 😂 watching it again to learn before heading to the grocery store. Can’t wait to try making both recipes…seems very easy. Thank you!
0:37 🗣Heyyyyyyyy! Where in tarnations do I get unami or UMAMI seasoning? 😅 I need to try this but I'm gonna use my my dehydrated shredded oyster mushrooms in place of soy curls 😋
comical, informative, quick and to the point! I love your videos!! ☺Oh, I forgot to mention both dishes looked yummy! 😋Not sure if there are soy curls near me?
Another winner. I was looking for something different to make. I have to ask, was there a robot operating the camera? Especially when you were doing the close ups, something sounded as if it was cranking, adjusting...
I love using soy curls. Was it my system or was there sort of a weird slight clicking sound near the end when the sound went quieter?' Looking forward to more of Andrew!
Make extra fried soy curls. Refrigerate. Next day, put them in the airfryer to warm up. The texture is completely different. Almost like cheetos! Sprinkle any type of seasoning and they're really good!
not at all! soy curls mimic the texture of chicken for the most part (at least how i remember it). they taste like tofu a bit (as in fairly bland) but do a better job of taking on the taste of whatever you season it with.
So this would save you money from ordering take out? I just saw the soy curls for 40 dollars for a bag lol including all the other condiments to make it taste good
$40 for one bag is highway robbery. But the amazon link in the comments is almost $40 for 6 bags and you only need half a bag for the recipe, so $3.25 for the dish for the soy curls. When you add up the other ingredients (for how much you need not how much the initial cost is) then you break that down by 4 servings and it comes out to $1.05. Note: that the amazon price fluctuates and also ordering in bigger bulk purchases can bring the cost down even more.
What restaurant take-out do you want to see next?
Applebees!!
Vegan lamb with green beans
Something Spanish but not Mexican, maybe Cuban or from Puerto Rico cuisine
Holding off on the ziploc bag... NICE! Gotta cut on waste every chance we get. The recipes look amazing, thank you!!
The space in the pan gives even more room to properly mix too!

0:37 🗣Heyyyyyyyy! Where in tarnations do I get unami or UMAMI seasoning? 😅 I need to try this but I'm gonna use my my dehydrated shredded oyster mushrooms in place of soy curls 😋
hahah ..Umami is just mushroom seasoning. Most major stores now carry it
comical, informative, quick and to the point! I love your videos!! ☺Oh, I forgot to mention both dishes looked yummy! 😋Not sure if there are soy curls near me?
Thanks so much. That means a lot! We've linked soy curls in the description box, you can purchase on Amazon
Omg I have to make this
We try this for dinner!
Another winner. I was looking for something different to make.
I have to ask, was there a robot operating the camera? Especially when you were doing the close ups, something sounded as if it was cranking, adjusting...
good question. no robot, just an old lens. keep that in mind for the next one. Thanks for tuning in ❤️
😜 💜 Why do I do this to myself ~ it is 13:30a & I am drooling 💜 😜
LOL!
We buy soy curls in bulk from butler......bomb game changer to the vegan world. ❤
same!
I love using soy curls. Was it my system or was there sort of a weird slight clicking sound near the end when the sound went quieter?' Looking forward to more of Andrew!
It was the camera adjusting, you hear it because it was super close to the mic and not locked into place
Make extra fried soy curls. Refrigerate. Next day, put them in the airfryer to warm up. The texture is completely different. Almost like cheetos! Sprinkle any type of seasoning and they're really good!
Thanks for the tip!
Mi juss a come pon yah fi tell yuh seh, mi did know seh yuh Jamaican. Rass!!!😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
might be a silly question but what do soy curls taste like? and the texture? looks good though
not at all! soy curls mimic the texture of chicken for the most part (at least how i remember it). they taste like tofu a bit (as in fairly bland) but do a better job of taking on the taste of whatever you season it with.
That butter good 😂 not a vegan but I would eat both dishes 🤩🤩🤩👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Glad to hear that
“Pick your nose” 😂😂😂
😂
Yooo, this looks amazing. Where do you get soy curls. Like amazon?
Thanks! Hope you enjoy. Yes, amazon is one place. We linked them in the description box
The wordle 😂😂

What soy free meat alternatives would you recommend?
Plant Boss is a soy free alternative, Beyond, seitan
@@MakeItDairyFree Thank you 😊 🙏🏾
Bro where did you get the apron?
Target
Beautiful 😍
What was the umami powder you used in the first dish?
He used this: Takii Umami Powder, Magic Shiitake Mushroom Seasoning
@@thatgirl9614 That's not what we used LOL
It's Umami Seasoning - We've used Trader Joe's or Target's brand interchangeably
Where do is buy soy curls?
Amazon, it's linked in the description box!
