- As of November 2023, the Nokia C110 is the cheapest smartphone you can buy at Walmart! Is this phone worth its $30 price tag? Well, today we are going to find that out! With a short unboxing and an in-depth review, by the end of this video I will be able to tell you whether this phone is worth it or not. So, with that being said, I hope you guys enjoy!

What an adorable and humble tech review. No flashy animations, annoying sound effects, or fluff. Just straight to the point. Just a few simple jump cuts and gentle background music and ambient chicken sounds. Wonderful. I would not mind at all if TH-cam transformed into what it once was 18 years ago.
100% agree. I much prefer videos like this. I especially like when they don’t hype up products making them seem less trustworthy and fanboyish.

Yes bro as I am smartphone user for last 12 years. I had changed many phones in these 12 years and i must say this phone is pretty good for those who don't like heavy games who don't want to be in social media all the time. Camera is really really enough for posting on status and emergency. Sometimes I think if this phone had snapdragon processors with 5000mah battery.
It can beat flagship from decade ago

Grabbed one for a back up one day. Took 10 mins and wiped all the bloatware and small tweak.. I only needed it for calls when I need it.

Using a Nokia C110 right now because my main phone broke recently, but I'm not that much of a gamer when it comes to phones and I don't really put phones through much stress.
For what I use it for, I absolutely love this phone and have zero complaints. I use the stock camera for filming videos indoors and outdoors and it looks fine enough for me.
The only issue I have with this cell phone is that it sometimes can lag with too many things open, and sometimes apps take a little too long to load.
But then again, who the hell cares for $30? I'd gladly buy another one of these when this one dies and keep it around as a filming phone.
It's an andro go with 2gb ram
U be better of on a Redmi 5 than this (plus vanilla droid don't have locker to keep some apps on while u close all others like miui did, but hey this prob 3 apps max)
I recommend you do this inside where reflections are minimal.

That thing with the preinstalling apps (Temu 🤮🤮) is bad enough on a budget phone... Imagine my horror when I first put my Verizon sim in my beautiful, unlocked, Note 20 Ultra and it began installing bloatware.
Besides that crap with the apps this looks like a pretty good phone, especially for 30usd
my lg wing from verizon also started installing bloatware, it installs bloatware everytime i update it
Verizon seems to be the kings at installing useless shit to phones that none of us want lol
Thhe note 3 with horizon had 68 preinstalled apps (mostly samsung) but still.
Thank you for this video, I wish to point out 2 things
1. Yes this phone does have gestures, but you went to the wrong spot, they are located in Settings > System > Gestures > System navigation > Gesture navigation
2. Android Auto does not work on this phone because of the version of Android, this phone runs 'Android Go Edition' which is a stripped back version of Android for low-end phones, and sadly Android Auto is one of the features they removed.
Lastly that bloatware might of been able to turn off during the setup of the phone, one of the screens during the setup most likely said 'Review additional apps' and you may be able to turn off the install of them bloatware apps there (I had to do the same with the Lenovo tablet I recently bought).
gotta love it when the phone box offers more stuff than modern day phones
my 200 dollar straight talk phone also randomly installed those games and apps so its not limited to the cheapest ones. just fyi. very informational video

My dad bought one of these a few months ago, worked well until he got sick of the slow waiting times because it is only 4G. He upgraded to an A30.
4G isn’t slow. It’s actually more than enough. Most people don’t notice the difference between 4G and 5G. It was probably because of the coverage in the area or because of the phone itself.
i was really surprised about this phone...its pretty decent for this price...even the photos were ok!
I mean, i can understand Facebook being installed. Its one of the first apps many people install on their phone's.
Bought mine at DG $39.00 in silver last year. It works well for a cheap phone.

While the phone's probably worth $30 the Strait Talk basic plan with data is also $30 for 30 days, over twice what some other services are charging for roughly the same minutes and data.
There's no $30 plan they have a $35 plan the $30 plan is for basic phones not for smartphones I had the $35 plan
The only plans I know for straight talk is the 45 and 50 dollar plan

It does have face unlock and it's actually quite good. Fast as well. The biometric options are in the security/biometrics

It's hard to shit on a phone that cost less than $30 and the cherry on top it came with full fat android and not go edition and besides the dodgy pre paid part about it doesn't seem too bad in a pinch or as a back up.

The Nokia c110 is a great phone for 30 bucks. It's not comparable to any of my Galaxy devices or iPhones but it's great at it's price point.
I have one and it’s a little slower but it does everything well and it’s built sturdy.

Gesture navigation is on Android since Android 10 so it should have it, is just that brands change the name and where they put the option to activate it kinda anoying tbh.

If it weren't for the bloatware it would've been a lot more expensive so you gotta compromise for that plus at least you can uninstalled them so there's little complain about that

It's not just Nokia phones, but other Android phones will install bloatware (games) without asking

Does it make/ receive telephone calls? This would seem to be primary purpose. Who do you have to interact with? Who is the service provider. How much MONEY do they require Is the service provider as useless greedy and dishonest as most of them. Does the service provider have robot customer service and require the user to battle with tech reps in say...India.

Great video, it's surprising what you can get for $30 nowadays. Obviously it's not going to compare to a mid range or flagship phone, but it seems ok for a backup phone or for like a child's first phone.

Some Androids love installing bloatware junk. Samsung also does it sometimes after setting up your device, begging you to death to install smth like TikTok or Wish. Even with higher-end phones. (Speaking from experience)
