PC has no games, except for every game released on that platform since the early 90’s. Could go as far as the 80’s if MS kept MS DOS compatibility. Even more when you count emulators, which can even make games run better than the original hardware.

Imagine the horror of your controller using rechargeable AA batteries instead of a built in battery pack that requires disasembling the controller to replace. The nightmare of having to take 5 seconds to open the controller and swap them with the other two fully charged batteries before going back to playing not tethered by a cable is truly disgusting.
That and my rechargeable batteries that cost me $10 for four One set in my Xbox controller will last twice as long as your PlayStation controller before I even have to think about putting my other two batteries in
I just use rechargeable battery packs. Much better being able to swap out a dead one with a fresh one than having to plug in my controller to charge it lmao

One thing people seem to ignore about the ps5’s adaptive triggers is that it can sometimes be a hinderance in shooting games. Like in RE8 the adaptive triggers actually make you shoot slower than if you shut them off and sometimes the inner mechanisms can’t keep up with how fast you pull the trigger so you end up pulling the trigger and nothing happens.

My take on Console vs PC is the console have finally reached the equal standing for the same price range as in most cases the Xbox Series X is more powerful and more consistent than a PC or Laptop at the same price but for those real PC gamers who update and manage their PCs whenever newer pr better parts are available... those guys will ALWAYS be more powerful, more consistent etc than any console. I do believe though that unless some huge innovations are made in PC then Gen 10 consoles will at same price, destroy the PC game and it will only be the PC gamer who spends thousands of dollars to stay in front of consoles but that's not for 6-7 years so I guess we will see how technology evolves in that time.

Offset thumb sticks are also more natural for FPS games. As It's easier to push forward than when the stick is more centered making you push left for forward movement.

I'm pretty sure they may have that as some sort of trade card, considering Sony is already starting to do the same by paying temporal and even permanent exclusivities, like Final Fantasy XVI (which is console exclusive despite coming to PC). If Sony does any movement like that then MSFT can perfectly respond by having the next Fallout or Elder Scroll VI Xbox/PC exclusive.

Depends on the person I guess, but I agree that the MS option is far better. My 7 year old battery pack still clocks in at around 15 hours, which is more than 2x as much as a brand new Sony battery.

I’ve never really seen why sealing a battery that is very hard to replace as a good thing. Batteries will eventually go bad so easy access to them is essential especially since most people will game a lot with a console. The battery is eventually going to go bad so easy access plus available new battery packs are so much more consumer friendly

It's more powerful, it can actually expand storage (PS promised, but until now, the option is still not available). The only strong argument that PS5 is better than Xbox Series X is PS5 has more exclusives. With that being said, I absolutely do not like cloud gaming. The companies are trying to remove the concept of owning your own games. I don't like that. Remember that company's wants are the absolute opposite of what customer wants. What if they manage to completely kill offline gaming (aka owning your own games), and they triple the subscription cost, since there is no offline alternative? That has always been companies' strategy: Embrace, take an idea Expand, make the idea bigger Extinguish, kill competition (make them bankrupt) by charging unbeatable price tag (yes, even as low as selling at a loss) Dominate, now that competition is gone, they can charge how much they want. Having removable batteries makes the controllers last longer. My xbox one controller from 2014 still works to this day, where as my PS4 controller stopped holding a charge after a year.

@@EzMoney95 Pretty much only options are Windows, Linux (which both are owned by Microsoft, unless I'm mistaken) and then your 3rd option is Mac/Apple which arent terrible these days but I'd still prefer Windows for gaming as I feel Apple PCs are better in the design and creation kind of way, eg; making games, movies, arts etc.

One thing people seem to ignore about the ps5’s adaptive triggers is that it can sometimes be a hinderance in shooting games. Like in RE8 the adaptive triggers actually make you shoot slower than if you shut them off and sometimes the inner mechanisms can’t keep up with how fast you pull the trigger so you end up pulling the trigger and nothing happens.

My take on Console vs PC is the console have finally reached the equal standing for the same price range as in most cases the Xbox Series X is more powerful and more consistent than a PC or Laptop at the same price but for those real PC gamers who update and manage their PCs whenever newer pr better parts are available... those guys will ALWAYS be more powerful, more consistent etc than any console.
I do believe though that unless some huge innovations are made in PC then Gen 10 consoles will at same price, destroy the PC game and it will only be the PC gamer who spends thousands of dollars to stay in front of consoles but that's not for 6-7 years so I guess we will see how technology evolves in that time.

I'm pretty sure they may have that as some sort of trade card, considering Sony is already starting to do the same by paying temporal and even permanent exclusivities, like Final Fantasy XVI (which is console exclusive despite coming to PC). If Sony does any movement like that then MSFT can perfectly respond by having the next Fallout or Elder Scroll VI Xbox/PC exclusive.
Sony is not worried about Microsoft having Bethesda. Sony has its own studios.

Depends on the person I guess, but I agree that the MS option is far better. My 7 year old battery pack still clocks in at around 15 hours, which is more than 2x as much as a brand new Sony battery.

I’ve never really seen why sealing a battery that is very hard to replace as a good thing. Batteries will eventually go bad so easy access to them is essential especially since most people will game a lot with a console. The battery is eventually going to go bad so easy access plus available new battery packs are so much more consumer friendly

Xbox Series X, if Microsoft played the exact same game Playstation did, would be an equal to PS5.
It's more powerful, it can actually expand storage (PS promised, but until now, the option is still not available).
The only strong argument that PS5 is better than Xbox Series X is PS5 has more exclusives.
With that being said, I absolutely do not like cloud gaming. The companies are trying to remove the concept of owning your own games. I don't like that. Remember that company's wants are the absolute opposite of what customer wants.
What if they manage to completely kill offline gaming (aka owning your own games), and they triple the subscription cost, since there is no offline alternative?
That has always been companies' strategy:
Embrace, take an idea
Expand, make the idea bigger
Extinguish, kill competition (make them bankrupt) by charging unbeatable price tag (yes, even as low as selling at a loss)
Dominate, now that competition is gone, they can charge how much they want. Since there is no alternative, customers have no choice but to buy from them.

10:00 Honestly, I've been confused for a while as to why (what with so many games being ported to PC) anyone still bothers to buy a console. But I guess I'm just a biased member of the PC master race. I grew up on consoles, I name the N64, PS2 and XBOX 360 as my favorite consoles of all time. My thoughts exactly. I fled from the Xbox 360 to PC, since consoles are basically becoming mini-PCs. Plus, it was cheaper than to buy the Xbox One at its launch. I've upgraded my CPU & GPU since getting it years ago.
Having removable batteries makes the controllers last longer. My xbox one controller from 2014 still works to this day, where as my PS4 controller stopped holding a charge after a year.
