- The PS5 is Dead and Sony Officially Ruined Gaming...because they decided to put more PlayStation exclusive games on the pc gaming platform to make more money. PS5 Fanboys are having a complete mental breakdown and are becoming enraged with Sony over their decision to put more games on other platforms because these fanboys are so pathetic that they do not want anyone else to be able to play video games unless they are forced to go out and buy a ps5. It gets even worse when they literally call the PS5 worthless and say the PS5 Sucks or The PS5 is Trash unless it has exclusive games that force you to buy a console to play. The video we are watching here today is a complete joke and this dude is literally on his knees begging Sony' Jim Ryan to have PlayStation make less money to keep games exclusive to the PS4 and PS5.

@@lightbringer6567 yeah but later in the generation the frame rates will take a hit to look better. You have to make a compromise somewhere. The best comparison with these consoles is a gtx 1660 super or 1070 but with ray tracing. A 2060 still beats both.

@@NovaBlade926 I really don't get this fps thing... before ps1 I played on pc and the fps wasn't great either, mind you this was before 3dfx accelerator cards, before anyone knew NVidia if they even existed at that time and when Radeon was a company and not a brand name of AMD.
LTT has a video that's about 7 or so years old now where they see if people who are used to playing on 60fps can even see the difference between 60 and 100, spoilers they can't. So I suspect that it's the same for people who are used to playing on 30fps. At least it is for me. I've tried friends gaming pcs that do 60 fps and I really honestly can't see the difference. Which means you trained yourself to see it.
Now that PS5 is a total dumpster fire due to censoring and altering of games and general wokeness of the people that decide what releases on the platform and what doesn't I want to switch to PC, but I will never buy a monitor that does more then 60fps because I don't want to get used to 100+fps because it's going to force me to buy the more expensive graphics cards, monitors and cpus.
I understand why 100+fps gear exists and it's not for your average gamer, it's for competitive pro players which I am not and neither are you since the pro players can in fact get an advantage out of it while normal gamers like you and me can't.

Thanks to scalpers the PS5 is a unicorn. Sony knows this & knows porting is the only way to get that sweet, sweet game revenue. We may not get the new games, but at least we're going to get some of their exclusives.

Or here 2 years later we can sell a game that is going for $20 or less on PSN sales but now its $50-60 and a few million will buy it. The 2mill HZD steam sales are closer to 5 mil PS4 sales if it was bought on the PS4 the same year in terms of money generated

I'm also a Xbox user and when I heard MCC was going to PC I was nothing but happy. It gave more exposure for my favorite franchise, I got to play multiplayer with my friend outside of split-screen fir the first time, when cross play arrived

The cycle has only gotten worse. I remember the console war back in the PS2/X360/GCN days. You'd have school kids arguing that their electric brick was better, but would cease fighting when they either got a paying job or made friends with people that owned other platforms. The whole thing was driven by sour grapes because their parents would only buy them one and they had to justify that choice. There is no excuse for all these working adults basically swearing blood oaths to corporations!

Yeah. I'm surpriced he didn't bring up the closure of japan studio at that point. Now THAT is a massive L. So many great franchises and studios that their future are all but safe exept for astro. And with that in mind, the fact that he's aparently more upset over that more people get to play a videogame over an actual terrible desition from so many angles speaks volumes.

He is right about there not being much sense to buy a console without exclusives. Yeah Griffin said most people buy it for 3rd party games, but why? How is a shooter for example better on a console? I own PS4, the only games I have are exclusives (some aren't anymore) and games that just feel right playing on a console, like Mortal Kombat. Also isn't timed exclusivity the thing Epic Games does?

Also most console players are happy about the exclusive games goes multi platform (I.e: glad that more people would enjoy those games) and some of the comment on this video even appreciate this decision. I also see this change is in response to the idea that the next generation of consoles will not even have physical hardware you can buy, instead you stream the connection to a device in the house over the internet.
@@trinalgalaxy5943 At some point I suspect streaming will be the future but I'm not so sure it will be the next gen . Many rural areas still have crappy internet that make streaming games impossible . The more likely next step is a console with no disc drive like we are already seeing .

I completely agree with what you said but just to play devil's advocate: Do you think if there was no such thing as exclusives, The progression of either system (sony or xbox) would slow down? Since they use exclusives as a reason to buy their console. Also do you think a lot of games would lose substance like some other third party games? eg. Any of the recent Call of Duty games
@@yld6t966 well, considering the fact that players that buy a console solely based on it’s exclusive offerings are rather slim statistically, they might see a slight change but in the long term exclusives are rather meaningless. More people buy a console for games like COD etc.

i mean i would like to replay the first 3 games again but on pc with higher fps and proper m+kb support. I remember the games ran at like 30fps and at least the first two dipped downn to like single digits in several areas where a lot happened.
