Salute to all CC Agents, one of the toughest jobs I think. Spot on the adv and disadvantages. I worked for a little over 9 years in CC and burned me out to death but chose to stay for financial reasons. Luckily, I found an opportunity to work from home with less stress, better compensation and extremely considerate client. Love it!

Thank you for enlightening us. Tbh applying to be a csr as a career is the most convenient job to take at the moment; especially the country's situation right now. It's been a rough few years not just for me but to all of us. The job could make people come out to the occassion, but as you wisdom stated, there are always a cost that tolls if we choose this path. It's on our decision if we either pursue or choose another career path. Thank you for your wisdom. We might be able to use it one of these days 🙌 🙏

One of the biggest reasons why the attrition rate in the BPO industry is high is because of the TLs. Most of them really don't care about your well-being and just want to be always TOP 1. It's all competition;worst is, it's not the healthy one. Thinking about quitting my job, but I'm torn because I really like the company. The leaders are the problem.

It's really hard saying no to your degree, even depressing sometimes, but right now with the pandemic, working in a call center has given me the opportunity to work from home, it's not that bad, but once that's over, I hope I leave and pursue my career again. I don't know. What I know is I really enjoy your videos. Thank you!

Your channel sounds helpful. Even with all of my experience I could still learn something so I will subscribe. I have over 17 years experience working in call centers: sales, customer service and doing market research surveys. For the most part I liked my jobs and if it were not for call centers I don't know what I would do. When I tired to get more work in retail I was told that I didn't have enough experience or other would be chosen for their experience. One Manager saw potential in me and wanted to take me on to train me but unfortunately my schedule conflicted with theirs on one particular day of the week. So I couldn't take the job. Right now my job at this call center where I have been for seven years is really unpredictable in terms of how much work we get so I have to figure out what to do next.

I have been been working with a call centre which works for a solar company in the USA, believe me I would never work with it if I had any other way of earning, but since I go to university during day time so I have to work at nights. Being a telemarketer isn't easy at all, you almost die every night, you work hard, but you aren't appreciated. Thanks God I have a good grip on English which helps me cop up with this job otherwise its hell difficult. May God be with those call centre agents who work at nights for their survival

Mind and emotional pressures. Dealing with people who you never met but giving them services which is always verbally abusive. Physical anxiety mostly happens to those who accustomed to single schedule. And the sudden changes like shifting from the convenience zone to quite a bit new is difficult to first few days.

I admire that you have videos also of this disadvantages amd off course the previous videos which is the perks of working as a call center agent. I was just happy that when I first saw your video, I was just searching for the tips to pass the cc interviews. I think It was 2022, when I started watching your videos, and now I can't believe I'm already searching for the benefits and disadvantages because I finally I got accepted in a call center company. Thankyou so much ❤❤❤ You are a part of my journey . I really need the job to provide for my family financially. ❤❤❤ It was also happy to know that you are from Davao. I'm actually from Bohol and it's just so amazing and MAKAPROUD kaayo to see a co_Bisaya to excell in this industry . ❤ your videos are really popular that when I entered the assessment room, Your videos are one of those videos they have prepared for us to review and make ourselves ready before having the actual test and I was like yes.. My training will start on August 29 this year and finally after 6 years I received a job offer but the downside of it, I don't have any idea if I will be handling Australian, UK, Canadian, or American-based account because I believe that the shifting schedule is based on the account and the country that assigned to you. At this point, I want to give myself a shot to put myself in call center and to handle different calls because I have an experience when it comes to handling inquiries of my co-students if they have concerns or questions about the enrollment and evaluatio during my college days and even now I still respond to those students who will message me for their concerns and for me it's a good practice that I can also apply when I start working in call center.
I'm a degree holder too but I'm afraid that I cannot utilize my skills that I've earned while pursuing my bachelor's degree because the corporate world is too harsh for me because I'm a LGBTQA+ member and I'm a transgender woman and most companies are not accepting towards our community especially that I'm applying as secretary or executive assisstant and most companies in corporate industry will just seen my application and lowkey rejecting me by just letting me wait for an update unti I receive nothing.

I have been in this industry since 2013. For me hnd sya tlga mahirap dahil basic lang nmn ang gagawin mong trabaho at madali naman matutunan. Nagiging mahirap lang dahil sa gus2 na output ng clients, most of the time is buwis buhay na production and ang QA na napaka hirap ma meet or atleast to be consistent with. Sa ngayon im struggling dahil i realised the downward spiral of working in the bpo for college graduates. Wala kase growth dahil every time lilipat ka, its another product/service na hnd nman relevant to the next company you will work with. Walang continuity, pag lipat mo sa sunod pra kang newbie and im not young anymore so andoon yung self esteem mo mejo affected. I joined the bpo for the money and yun lang tlaga + the job is fairly easy, login and logout after 8 hrs and binabayaran ka every other week, as easy as that. Nasa point ako na im looking for a deeper purpose and questions whether bpo is something i wanna do in another 20 years? Wala din naman retirement benefit here and uso ang mga clients na nagpupull out.

BPO sucks but at least I’m in escalations now so I’m only taking 5-15 calls a day vs the 50-100 depending on the day. The main thing that sucks about the company I work for is they have a “shut up and take it” policy. Under no circumstances can we hang up the phone or tell the customer to keep the call professional. So if someone wants to sit there and tell me I’m garbage for 2 hrs I gotta let them 😂 I can’t do the whole “sir stop cursing at me or I’m going to disconnect the call” or I’ll get fired

I just received a contract yesterday from a BPO company which I applied and I am very happy about it since I am not that passionate about my course. I have no choice btw due to the lowballing companies in my field and I cannot imagine myself working in a hot environment in which most engineering plats have. Saying no to my course or finished program while I studied it for almost 8yrs was really a hard decision way back then but then again as what I had said earlier, I have no choice. My field of study cannot pay the bills and has no benefits for most of the companies. Its not too late to give up, wag po masyado isipin ang financial. If you pursue your course, maliit man sa una tataaas din yan lalo pag nagka experience ka. BPO is a downward spiral for college graduates, unless u are contented to earn as much as 30k as an agent or get promoted sa leadership like TL or STL. Maliit ang 30k if may pamilya na believe me, swerte mo na ganyan sahod mo as an agent bihira ang ganyang client.

What would be your advice for all those Newbie that Who wants to enter in BPO industry... Specially those who are Freshly graduated from high school... Is it Possible for them to have a Job as A Call Center Agent?
What Would do you Prefer for them to take first?
Is it to have a Local Account or maybe you immediately go for International Account?😊🙏

Hnd ka bobo, we are filipinos tagalog ang kinagisnan so remember where u came from, second language lang naten ang english. Although sa bpo tlg need mo maging competitive sa english and so many other things pra pumasa sa QA / Metrics. Tyagain mo lang matututunan mo din lahat, nuod ka alot of english movies and gayahin mo ang accent and tandaan mo grammar, familiarization kumbaga. It may take a while pero mararating mo din yung perfect english na pang bpo.

Id rather be a shift engineer in a local company than working any BPO industry. Places are toxic and frequent lay-offs. The environ is too competitive and it's hard to find stability in career. Also most of the time the reason people work on BPO industry is high pay, not because they love what they're doing.

I really admire the people who work in this industry because I have also worked in this toxic industry.

The "disadvantages" to working in a call center, where to begin? It sucks every bit of joy out of your life. Customers treat you like crap, and there is way too much time spent on stupid shit like aht and grading calls, and whether or not the customer's ass has been kissed enough. The metrics are ridiculous, and as an employee you're treated like you're 5 years old. It's a horrible job and it needs to be abolished.
