I am still working in a BPO but as an HR. From Agent to SME to QA to HR. By the time I left the QA department, I already saved almost 90k, back then I only save for an emergency, but later realized that I still need to push myself to save more, and I am doing it - religiously.

I agree with you Candice when you say "Invest in yourself." I've been in the retail industry for more than 10years and damn I don't have any savings after quitting that job. But gladly I've been given the chance to work in BPO industry recently, what I did was to create an Emergency Fund aside from separate personal savings right after receiving my first salary. I know it's been a long process to build these personal plans for myself and my family since we're not getting any younger and other factors that may come in, but learning from our past experience made us realize what we need to prioritize in order for us to live somehow simpler and comfortably. Time is like money, we have to be diligent and invest more in what really matters to us.

This video has a lot to say. Makes a whole lot of sense. Ang hirap din minsan di kino-consider ng karamihan mag invest, lalo na habang single, is the ability to hop to another company. As a family man, iniisip ko kung ngayon single ako yan ang una kong gagawin. Sana ma-realize ng karamihan ngayon, lalo na sa mga wala pang pamilya na mag-invest sa future habang wala pang pananagutan. QUestion though, how did you become so good at speaking English? How long was your journey to reach the fluency you have right now? Imma check your videos if there's any tips you shared.

This is really true. It's the most stressful job i had since i started working (mentally stressful). I am a nurse but ended up working in bpo industry. I am currently saving for my future. I dont spend much for food, clothes, makeup etc. Since day 1 when i started working in a corporate world. I told myself that the only purpose why i have to be in this job bcoz i want to save more to establish my own business. I am planning to leave this industry few years from now and planning to just focus on my business and in the future to become a real estate investor. Yes, this job helped me a lot financially but i am not mentally, spritually, emotionally happy.

This is all about our long term goal in life. there's nothing wrong working in a BPO or a Call Center industry. All depends on us, wether you ended up penny less or well-being. Cuz when were working sometime we're not thinking those things that would make us pre-occupied. Normally we just casually working, eat, paid our montly bills, and of course our vices if there's any. So in general, we have to set our goals or aim at the same time. while were working in this company. When the time comes and you decided to stepdown in this career you have an alternative way to sustain living. Perhaps run a small family business, or being a freelance and self-employed individual. Hence, comprehensive outcome of our future will define us what we're currently now.

Really true! I'm actually applying for a call center agent position, first because I want to further enhance my speaking skill and how to handle objections. Showing empathy amidst all the emotion you're feeling is really hard, and I know it's hard but I still want to learn how to handle objections (serves as a training ground). Second, is the income. I need money to invest in my skills because surely I can't use my time (if I'd be hired). So far, that's what I'm planning, and your videos are helping me a lot in my interviews.

Since last year I am taking calls from providers (aka doctors, nurses or medical professionals) and not from members or subscribers (aka patients ) anymore. it is because if no customers the company cannot give wages to their employees so as an employee you'll have to make your own tactics to prevent this customers transfer to the other company that they think can give them better services. so as an employee of a call center industry you must have to help yourself understand the training give your very best to serve your customer give the best resolution to their concern.. the best thing is that if you know what you are doing you are also making more money for your self its the incentives. and if you don't want stressful job or surroundings better to find a job that suites your criteria remember you find job not the job finds you..

I'm 28 years old already, but I'm just starting in this industry. I made bad decisions in life and my life has been stagnant for the most part of my 20's. Applying for a job in call center is my way of taking the first step to fixing my life. My only regret is not doing this way earlier, but oh well. I just hope it's not too late for me, but I'll definitely keep your tips in mind!

I been in the BPO industry for 12 years I handled Financial and technical accounts. I did that in the start of my career in the BPO industry since 2006 and I retired in 2018. I was able to handle it.

Pennyless. So true! No matter how long you stay in the industry, you still end up with an empty pocket. It's really a great idea to have your back up plan. If you're a PRC passer/holder, it will surely come in handy.

You know when you talk about time is unrenewable?as a call center agent it makes me think to resign on my job.cuz everyday Im having a hard time for those Irate customer not only that but also for my mental health it is really stressfull it makes me almost cry sometimes.I really want to give up in this job. but I need money to survive in my everyday lives.

    • @jaysonroa1058

Cheer up bro. Might as well resign if it's not worth your stress. There are tons of centers out there. Try in-house centers or other accounts until you'll find satisfaction, not just financial satisfaction.

Hi! I just found your channel recently. I think I've never commented on any YT vids, but I really find this content insightful. The rest of your videos are really good as well :) I'm a recent graduate, and while contemplating for my next ganaps in life, I've been looking for job opportunities for the meantime. I initially had thoughts on how I'm gonna spend my money, my first few months sweldo on things that would satisfy my wants in life; material things, eating at a nice place, or travel. This vid led me back to my senses. Maybe if I get enough for myself, I can still enjoy the fruits of my labor, yet have more savings for the future :)

A best advice for all. ☺️. Tama po yan. Invest for yourself while you are young and working because the energy, time and money is on your side. Just learn and take action to invest in yourself right now and your investment will take care of you in the future 😉.
Ako po nag start at the age of 19 and now I am 20, hindi pa ganun kalaki at kalawak ang naiipon ko para sa sarili pero marami pa akong oras para mapalago pa iyon. 😁 Try nyo din 😊.
