Joe, I love to fish paste,My club water has depths in swims around 11ft and paste is great, Wins most matches,But it gets hammerd by Roach and Rudd when put in , I dont shot my rigs when paste fishing,Whats the best paste mix and rig for that kind of depth.Keep the great vids coming.
Been using the JC floats since they hit the shops, never fail. Took 24 Carp betwenn 4lb and 8lb in a 4 hour session weekend just gone using the 0.5g JC Margin, fishing in 3ft of water down the sides. Like you Joe usually go for a hemp feed but they wanted the micro's this weekend small constant amount Size of a 10p on every ship out in the paste pot. Great video as always
I use the 18+ great elastic I also have ur paste floats but sadly not had the pleasure this year but will when it warms up next year. Could you do diagrams of rigs where you put shot/stotz
Hi Joe, great videos as usual. Really want to try paste but have no idea where to start. What floats, do you tie the rigs direct to the hook, Mixing it etc? All I seem to see when I go to venues is people catching absolute units on paste 😂

What decides when you stop using it? Does the relaxed lash and over depth inches lead to any/many deep hooked fish? Thanks for the videos. Great channel, much appreciated. All the best.
@@kevinelliott7573 I fish it over wet 😂 that’s the whole idea behind the float lack of buoyancy and added wheat gluten to hold the wet paste on the hook
@@MatchFishingFilms Did you catch ? I love a odd bit of bassing myself but even more I like catching Sea bream , not easy but rewarding when you catch .
I fish with the float “under the water…” the paste acts as the anchor, and the line is tight.. sooo when the paste comes off or pulls out the float bobs up.. You will never miss a bite…. I am visually impaired, so looking at float isn’t an option… Tight lines..

I haven’t lots of experience in depths like that but I’d imagine my usual thatchers and gluten combination mixed firmly would be great

That's OK with stiff paste, with soft paste it comes off very quick with the buoyancy of the float,

Yea had 40 fish on holiday the other week spread over the week, and had another five on a day trip two weeks back. Nothing massive but great fun

Tried your method, I have one problem I've found I cannot tell when paste has dissolved as the float doesn't pop up. Am I missing something?😢
