That’s why I love watching Des Shipp matches. Full of info with great detail. But most importantly, no arrogance, no pretense, just great honest fishing and banter between the people who he fishes with and against. Thanks Des. Keep it up. ❤
Good win considering the larger skimmers were conspicuous by their absence. Very interesting watching you using so many baits and how you worked out the best possible way to maximize your peg. Best 2 pegs were next to each other. Cheers Des.
when you get an erruption of bubbles from fish .. it isnt necessarily methane release as many people think, the fish are emptying their swim bladders (which contains air) in order to make room for more food. It means they are getting their heads down on the feed. IMO silver fish fishing is getting more and more popular.
Fished my first match there 7 years ago, by end of summer had broken match record. 130lb of carp on wag and bomb. That spurred me on to get right into match fishing after a move to Monmouth! The lovely Redhill fishery on my direstop!
I was thinking the exact same thing. Whenever I feed a swim, I can't just target silver fish, which I love fishing for. It would be amazing to have a session like this.
On my local, it seems hard to get the fish feeding over your bait. Fish, come in, you will catch a few and seem to move on. Its a natural water & seem to have gone like this since people started fishing shallow pinging bait in every few seconds its now become hard to get them feeding on the deck in any numbers. 🎣✨️

9:36 'don't get confused about baits' says des bringing about 500 different baits out of his bag😆
🤣
Fantastic video!! If you drew one of the silty pegs, would you have fished the same baits, lines etc???
Nice one des
Why no carp hooked? Would love to have a silvers session like this at this time of year 😮

Great vlog, but drop the annoying music
Eg
Brilliantly edited film - apart from the unnecessary music - a thing of the past - move on!
