The hosts at 80 seem to be playing the game more organically. Fewer dedicated ganks and grace goblins, haven't cleared out the entire area of PVE. Only real downside is you don't see a lot of build variety -- whole lotta Bloodhound Fang duos. I do wish more people at that level would realize the DLC is very doable at 80 once you get a few Scadu levels.
Biggest hurdle is honestly Mohg at 80 with the “correct” weapon level. Anything below sort of max weapon level means you have to REALLY learn his fight. Now the DLC is SUPER doable. Scadutree frags scale your damage in a way that it feels a lot more forgiving than underleveling through the base endgame.
@@incendiarypoprocks8700best way I found to fight mohg without learning the moveset at low weapon levels is to summon a +10 dungeater and spam the black knife ash or reduvia. Edit: you’ll dodge most of his moveset if you always dodge right.
@@TheAzul_Indigo Swarm of flies spam, poison mist with rot pots and mimic tear/tiche is how I brute force my way through the game when making builds. Like you just kite the boss for 10 minutes while the DoTs do their thing. You can be level 20 and want some DLC weapon for your build and it's totally achievable because of how easy it is to cheese Elden Ring.
@@Velumbra Tiche is hard to come by early game- you gotta get radhan and astel first before you can even fight Alecto. Mimic is out because if you have 40 vigor then so does your mimic. You only gotta get into Leyndell to get Dungeater: he keeps agro, does bleed buildup, and has a enemy debuff that gives him big hyperarmor.
Most players can’t beat mohg at level 80 with +17 weapons. I’m sure there’s also a lot of people at level 80 with +24 and +9 weapons who are speed running the game but they won’t be in your invasion bracket anymore. A very sneaky level range that’s actually very active for people just playing through the game is level 99 +25/+10. A lot of people know how to get all of the smithing stones quickly and at level 99 they’re still just playing through the game. You die much quicker though, but at least people aren’t pushing level 150 with capped out damage stats and max scaling yet. If you tried out that level range I’d build your character like a level 80 and really focus in on your vigor and Stam because the upgrade level of your weapons will carry most of the damage anyway
I stopped doing low level invasions because even at 70 +7 + 17 with super high physical defense, hella minmaxed, password phantoms were still able to one shot me. Became way too common. All the password phantom has to do is press l2 once and it’s pretty much over.
You stuffing that host in the corner at the end was pretty gnarly ngl 😂 I recently started a new character to try out the lower bracket pvp, as I was tired of the higher “bracket babies” I like to call them, cause it doesn’t take much skill to kill in that scenario so with my lower level character (that 139 sweet spot) if I am defeated in combat, I can actually admire my opponent 😌 Good video btw
Started off only making level 75 builds and swore by it until Peeve and Saint started doing 200. And now I won’t ever go back. 200 or nothing for me haha
Alright! Quick math! What does 60 vigor, erdtree favor +2, crimson amber +3 and crimsonspill tear equal? 2499 HP! That's right! You now have the HP of a rune arced host except you're not the host but instead a red, a blue or a co-op phantom. I do this at level 80 with the dragon hunter great katana, though.. I'm not sure why exactly the giant weeb stick does decent damage with only 23 str/dex on a vigor fiend build but it does and it's nice.
I really enjoy level 30-40, you can get away with a lot goofier builds since people dont have remotely as much damage or aoes to worry about. plus, most invasions at that level are in stormveil or raya lucaria, which are ridiculously fun
Absolutely! 60 vigor, erdtree +2, crimson amber +3 and crimsonspill tear for the physick gets ya 2499 HP. What about damage though? Wouldn't it be terrible? Yes, but this can be fixed with the multi-hit talismans, weapons with innate bleed or a str weapon like a colossal. I bet you could also fix the damage issue with that two-handed sword talisman or a poison/rot set-up, but I've yet to try it.
Also crab. Boiled crab makes you stupidly bulky for absolutely no reason and you can put it on anybody for free. You just buy them from a merchant, can carry 99 of them and they'll bump you up to 30%~ish physical damage negation. I like the drake knight and bloodhound knight set because they're light and look nice, but boiled crab lets me get away with it because it's just that strong.
In ds3 it was 60 +6. Stayed there and beat the game, went into NG+ I was doing enough damage to kill over leveled phantoms, but not so OP, I could still die easily if I got careless. My first pvp build I ever made was a level 80 +16 str fire build. Not the best. Still need a sorseal for it to work so I'm squishy. But I have the best invasions at that level. I get a lot of teammates ranging from Rl 60 to 90. Mid level has always been the best place to invade imo.
i've been considering which bracket to move my rl25 invasion build to after my ex tanked it by picking up edgar's +8 halberd one day while i was at work 😭 i had made it all the way to maliketh on that character!
I quit invading outside of level 115 to 200 Im invading at level 30 fighting level 100+ players on PS5. I know they are because their vigor/gear shows a massive stat discrepancy not possible in low level pvp bracket
Level 80 is nice because the activity is there and the build variety is fantastic BUT you gotta focus on one or two things rather than having everything then calling it a "build".
Maybe just me but at least when it comes to Xbox I have had little to no luck in the 60 or 80s for invasions. Meaning I find next to no invasions most of the time.

My favorite is around 40 to 80 because nobody has vigor except me it seems
When imfomercial uploads it’s a good day. That’s why today is awesome

Iv definitely been moving my level 60s to level 80 because dealing with over leveled phantoms at 60 is a pain but at 80 its way more manageable

Somber weapons tend to have higher base damage, even the ones with only physical damage and scaling.

Seamless co-op invasions can be insanely optimized. My RL30 invader has 1600HP
FFXIV music? good taste ( o_o)b
Has anyone successfully made a Bloodborne style vit-gouge PvP build in Elden Ring? I’m guessing yes, but would love to hear ideas.

@@Velumbra I forgot about the Crimsonspill tear. Thank you! This is why I asked.
Do the royal remains set with twinbird shield and branch talismans too because 20% of 2499hp is 500.

DLC is vcery doable at lvl 80 with optimized build and focus on first collecting scubidoo fragments
my rl20 character has 1k hp. people dont lvl vig smh

so in short: Why should you invade at level80?
To kill new players who have no idea how the game works
I love lvl 80 but i want to invade in the dlc areas too:/

I do 30
My father taught me that a Chad cannot recall what the max level is in any game at any time. On this, we agree.
